I got them from Larry, nicest OB females of any mbuna I have kept. Hundreds & hundreds of fry, not 1 MC. My fainzilberi Makonde however seem to throw them with frequency.
@@thelakemalawiexperience681 sir what are the procedures to be taken care for diving and catching those beauties..and obviously the export procedures too...can you brief then. If you're on Facebook or have any pages please do let me know, we'd connect there
Divers license and the contact to Lake Malawi. Then you need some knowledge and experience to catch the fish and how to keep them alive until we reach the Lodge. Later this year, I will post a video where I show it:) About exporting you need to have the license to do so in your country and have the contact to a station in Lake Malawi :)
@@thelakemalawiexperience681 Sure sir, thanks for the information. I'd wait for your upcoming videos. Can you please share your Facebook page link or profile, I'd connect you there, I'd love to get connected with the people over Malawi to find a station And get them exported.
Is it good to catch this fishes from their natural habitat and then keep it in a tank , yea for breeding purpose you can do it but make sure that some of them will go back to their natural habitat in future , then the ecological balance will be stable otherwise it's not fare to do this...it's completely my opinion , I don't know much about these expeditions but I also have a mbuna tank and I love my fishes so much
Arghyadeep 573 I follow your mindset! We do ecological catching. We do not catch to much and only what we need. We do not catch threatening species👍🏼 The local divers and teams catch a lot more than the few catch we do a few times every second year. I hope you understand. I am biology teacher and know how these things work. This area on the video have a lot numbers of the same species.
@@thelakemalawiexperience681 yea that's nice we should keep the ecological balance of our nature , but the locals also maintain some rules .if they do it just for their own profit then the government should take some steps to stop this , we all love this fishes and catching some of them are ok if we have some dedicated tanks for them , and your videos are too good , just watched some of them , can you make a video on cichlid foods , in India some brands like northfin and hikari is available but I can't find a single reliable video on that products .....indian cichlid keepers don't have so many feeding options for their cichlids 😭
Arghyadeep 573 Couldn’t agree more :) I don’t have a big knowledge on fish food. I use some different products that works well for me - where the cost, quality and health for the fish go hands in hands. Maybe I will some day. Many people in Europe use Northfin, but I don’t have any experience with it I’m afraid.
I keep purple lupingu and have a lab × mc ob project that is tuning out really nice
Copadichromis gome is one of my favorite haps
Which one?:)
I had zebras from Chiofu years ago.
james martin My all time favorite fish 😍

james martin Yes awesome females. I have to Wild mc males, and the give me really nice fry and pretty good numbers of mc 🤤
The kampango or kampoyo is a critically endangered keep that in mind the next time you see one!!!!
If you could post some clips of kawanga it'll be great 😅
