Great guy. I like how he is thinkig of fencing like it is still a sword fight, because it still is. And can be a way of life. More people should practice this beautiful and ancient sport. It should be a normal thing for every man. It is a best fighting sport; one can fight and compete for 100% but without hurting each other, like in other martial arts. Good luck for all fencers out there.

Minobe Kazuyasu will always be my favourite fencer, He started in high school unlike all the others who started when they were super young. He is actually right handed but through training and effort he now uses his left hand. He doesn't have a height advantage and its just his pure skill that makes him no.8 in the world right now. "Don't set limits for yourself." is the most relevant quote almost any fencer ive ever heard say because he encompasses all of that. Despite no outstanding natural advantages, he still manages to be incredible.

I am loving this new series of videos about fencers. It is fascinating to get inside the head of Olympians and find out what drives them to such greatness. Keep em' coming!
