Paul McCartney and Bob Mortimer. What a time to be alive.
Listening to Paul talk about anecdotes as adorable as he is, it's like being in front of him, seeing his smile and his childlike eyes. Thank you very much Paul!!! ❤️💗💞😉❤️💗
True, but I've heard that same story about a dozen times - and even saw the clip of Jerry Seinfeld at the White House. So it's getting a little old. Just like Paul.
@@jx14aby I think Paul has the magic of telling the same stories over and over again because they are part of his life and the people who ask him also usually ask him the same thing, but he is definitely adorable. Greetings!!! ❤️💘💓🌹
@jx14aby
Maybe this video isn't for you then lol. There will always be a fans from the younger generation that haven't heard the stories.
@@Nick-7 I am young and I am interested in hearing Paul's stories that I don't know and I love The Beatles and Elvis. ❤️❤️❤️
@@jx14aby But if he's asked about it, he's going to tell it how it was. What do you want him to do, change the story in case people like you get bored?
Always love Bob Mortimer content. Hope the other guy makes it in showbiz too!
I love Paul’s elder speaking voice……it’s so calming
Paul, thank you for everything you've done in our lives with all of your music.
I still remember the first time I heard the Help! album.
Looks like it was yesterday.
That blew my mind and that's why I started playing guitar at 11 years old.
If God asked me who in the world I would like to meet in person, the answer would be simple:
Paul McCartney.
How I wish it could happen.
Maracana?
December?
OMG...
Greetings from Rio
Stay safe!
I can remember waiting for each new Beatle album and being in awe of their new creations. It all ended too soon.
I could listen to his stories all day. He is such a treasure!❤
And McCartney's too!
@@danielbuxton4493 Your "joke" was already done a comment ago. It's so yesterday, lol! HA!
We love you Paul McCartney forever ❤🎉
Songwriting is as much about knowing what doesn't work as it is about...
Paul is probably the easiest celebrity to talk with. Beatles 4 ever❤️❤️❤️❤️

Jerry Seinfeld did IN FACT know what he meant.
Always enjoy listening to the stories 👍
2 of my favourite people. I have to see all of this.
Two of the world's greatest storytellers in the same room!
Aye right!
both have a twinkle in the eye, and an immutable sence shared by lads who were brought up by working class parents, who would be so proud of both of them.
Therapy for me

Love Paul! Legend! Xx
Will always love this man. God Bless and protect
In another interview Paul credited John with changing the lyrics from Beauty Queen to You know What I Mean.
I'm glad that the greatest living Englishman got to meet Paul McCartney :)
Just thank you!!
I haven't but I haven't been to many concerts for what seems like forever.
I've heard that the original NW line was "Isn't it good, I knew she would" - have to ask John though. Nice to see Paul and Bob together.
Way back in the day ... we were such dinosaurs then... free as a bird... that was before all that Hollywood fallout, signing to the Devil by musicians... different era heh? Loved your music. Sang 'Imagine' by John in church ... Now that rocked the Pastor, whole congregation too. Much ado.
Holy Spirit you are welcome here. 😊❤💚
I appreciate the prayers ❣️, keep it up fan 🙏
I always love that song. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Paul looks incredibly well and young for 81.
Always a delight
Jerry Seinfeld's the one commenting on the 17 line? Really?
Classic projection.
Dear whoever runs this account - please get whoever else is in charge of this stuff TO RELEASE THIS WHOLE INTERVIEW TODAY! It’s been aaaaaaaaages
When he is being interviewed he may tell the odd pork pie, But he never lies with his music 🎵 👍❤️🎸
Have only heard this story a trillion times. I guess one more time won't hurt :)
Thank you Paul McCartney ❤
That is such a beautiful song. I never really listened to the words was visually entranced? then...when I finally did, I felt like it was a young man and woman who had made the "right" decision to not sleep together? and felt good about their decision, the next day. How nice it was to wake up with a clear conscience. I know it's a little old-fashioned and fuddy-duddy but that was my take away. Unfortunately it took years for me to get that, there. 😂 😅❤❤ ps I have also noticed over the years, looking back and really listening to the tunes, most have some integrity or lesson to be learned? ie no one knows whether he was from the house of God. 😮😢 Most are very positive lessons shared, questions asked or... hoped.....four. 🎉 ❤
I grew up in the Kennedy and Springer Mansions so I had a great appreciation and still do for the various woods in the world: like cherry, mahogany, oak, pine, cedar, redwood and various others 😮😮😮 etc. etc.
pss omgosh, Sir Paul McCartney is getting better looking, the older he gets, I am serious...how Wild is that. Oh 🎉😂❤
_"ie no one knows whether he was from the house of God"_
If you mean the lyrics to "A Day in the LIfe"- they sing House of *Lords* (the unelected revising body of the British Parliament)

Is that Paul’s house? What a neat room. Show us around a little, maybe? 😊
He seems to have good taste in architecture. The room where he keeps his records is gorgeous, mid-century modern perfection. I’d like to see more of his home, if there are parts he doesn’t mind sharing with us.
I give him full points for the Patek Aquanaut on his wrist, too… 👍
As hinted in the video description, that's the first floor of the lobby of the British Library, where they keep a few of their prettier leather-bound books on display (if you want to see any Beatle lyric manuscripts, try the free display gallery on the ground floor).
Very great place for your interview.😊
I hope that book has another volume with more songs, Paul gave his explanations along five years, sure there are more material to another 2 books...
By the way, thank you very much for translated it to Spanish 👏🏼💪🏼🍻🎶
Where can we find the full interview?
Friend and I writing songs in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My lyrics. His music. Country and bluesy rock. Think you could drop by and give us some pointers. ;-) I gave all my vinyl (including most of the American Beatles' releases) to my nieces and nephews. With another generation it continues!
Great interview Bob mortimer always make me laugh he's just got funny bones as they say😅

@TEAMPAUL Marseille 🇫🇷
Someone please tell me this from some multiple-hours-long interview? I adore these two.
Now days he should sing, "She was just seven-ty."
Well she's just seven-ty
A lot younger than me
But she's kept her teeth
And she doesn't dye her hair
Now I'll never look at another, oooh
Cos she push-es my wheelchair.
Norwegian Wood was a sauna, massage parlour and other such delights not too far from one of Paul's haunts.
Bulldust. John had the idea for the song while on a skiing holiday with his wife Cynthia, in St Moritz in the Swiss Alps.
A legend having a good laugh about his own lyrics. Love it.
Both have a childlike innocence which is totally endearing
I always thought the ending of Norwegian Wood was the guy lighting a fire in a fireplace or something.
Great man 👏👏
His Lyrics are very interresteting, but there are many things I know as a Fan,lg from Elli ✌❤
His lyrics are very what??🤔
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love Paul but he's told this anecdote a million times.
Well the song has been out for decades, what else can he tell about it that's different? things just happen in one way. He can't just go back in time and give the songs a new meaning🤷♀️.
Blame the people who keep asking him about it.
@user-pv8jy1nt8f Ok, did I say otherwise?🤔
WIth Paul's anecdotes, you never really know how much of it is true, but it's enjoyable anyways :D
This one is plausible. Notice he doesn’t say _who_ came up with that line (sounds Lennon-esque, now I think about it)
@@raffriff42 He has stated previously that John came up with "you know what I mean" and yes it is Lennon-esque.
Paul's stories are fine, but I could listen to Bob's stories all day.
Love you Paul!
