The short:
To me, Pvp videos are a combination of skill expression and art, thru the combination of visuals and music. I hope you enjoy my presentation of Elemental shaman in Shadowlands and not take the video too seriously, the priority is on entertainment and bombastic romantification of Pvp in WoW.
The Long:
I planned on trying shadowlands and making a short series of videos if I enjoyed it, but I found myself really engaged with the gearing system and learning my character. As my character evolved so did my playstyle and urge to make a bit more effortful video which leads me here. I plan on making a TBC video as my next major movie but this was some nice practice in most regards.

How do you manage to do all of those crazy fights while being Venthyr and using that chain-lightning/chain-heal legendary ? Have you find some crazy survival/DPS combination ?
Hey bro sorry for late response, The CL-C.heal leggo was really strong and I outgeared most of my opponents, it was a unique situation in which thru that and improved healing surge I could barely maintain my hp as I cycled CDs until kill. Haven't played in awhile so not sure if stil useful

You can cast 4 heals before you go oom as ele, this legendary makes chain heal mana less and instant. That’s the most important thing I have 2 shield walls and high versa/ ilvl so I can mitigate damage and heal it back every other GCD. Simply put it takes pressure off of relying solely on healing surge. It gives you time to create windows in between enemy offensive CDs to take risk like fake casting into a hex and into your burst . It’s just a specific playstyle but sometimes I run normal offensive legendaries
@@ceomusic7 true but u need to cast a chain light before the chain heal is instant. so u use chain light insta cast on stormkeeper?
@@billygovaert6198 i chain heal b4 the fight begins typically, I have used storm keeper to start the chain before but storm keeper is best used with Lightning bolt for dmg, u can also fake cast or bait a kick with lavaburst b4 u get a Chain lightning off. If u hex the target CL is weak enough it wont usualy break hex and u can start the chain that way

just got back into ele shaman pvp and wow overall...and i noticed alot of unfamiliar words like Shield Wall and Keeper, blink and glide...i don't recognize those as shaman spells or whatnot. I suppose those are engineering profession talents?
Yessir you are exactly right. Shield wall is just astral shift, the rest are engineering items. And welcome back !

Loved the vid, very clean editing and showcasing of ele; almost made me want to level mine up! What do you use for your addons that allows you to see player bars and casts from so far away? Doesn't seem like blizzard UI accomodates that to the degree I'd like.
Thanks man i appreciate the feedback. Ele is a blast try it out. I use nameplate cooldowns but that is the built in blizzard name bars

I noticed sometimes you're not running Primal Ele. In what situations do you decide to do that, and I'm guessing you're running Icefury in those cases?
I prefer icefury in general, pets to me takes part of the fun out. Primal Ele is better though so honestly when I felt pressed to record "good" footage I would swap and lock in certain 1vXs.
@@ceomusic7 Oh, thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about Icefury. Besides, I also prefer the models of the regular elementals over the Primal ones (and the fact that I don't have to worry about canceling one elemental to summon another).
@@andrebetita same, it’s just the shield wall is too good since astral shift isn’t usable while stunned anymore. Also the stun is nice vs rogues. I tried to make surge of power work but I just couldn’t ever bring myself to use an earth shock just to freeze the opponent, especially since so many melees have ways to get out of roots

The legendary is so useful for that, instant heals + cycling the shield walls. Honestly though it’s mostly cause players aren’t bursting correctly and being overgeared. Thanks for watching

@@marcusbengtsson501 Rogues are brutal, the problem is you cant cast astral shift (shield wall) while stunned anymore, I have died from 100-0 in stuns when my trinket has been on CD, but yes I beat most rogues but the really good ones it can be near impossible, I have some 1v1 rogue footage if you wanna ever see, Bra#8337 is my discord i think

Its really fun but it forces you into a certain playstyle of pre chain healing before fights, the mana less healing is hard to move on from though when u play other leggos

Is Ele's dmg good without cds in pvp?
Depends on your spec, 1m Stormkeeper, 45s Primoridial Wave (Maldraxxus), if you run icefury (30s) Then I would say yes, you always have some form of burst available and in the very least you are mostly firing off consistent ~5k lavaburst that can overload

He Jeremie I’m glad you liked it. I used electro jump which is the engineering belt clip in shadowlands. It’s not the most reliable belt attachment but it looks cool so I wanted to get some clips of it, I just called it blink

Man I was hyped at the end for some warrior gameplay for some reason. I love your edits. As always 👍 kind of feeling bad for leaving my shaman in shadowlands but the gcd killed the class for me. Still hope* some day the get rid of it.

@@ceomusic7 hey what stats do u normally go for? Website says crit and haste then vers then mastery last but I don't think thats correct
@@cyix2420 That is what I prioed when I was venthyr because all my damage was from icefury and stormkeeper. And the 250% crit dmg on instant chain heals. The 2nd being haste because its always my favorite stat between all expansions to get GCD lower. Versa third for stronger healing and damage reduction then finally mastery. However when I swapped maldraxxus mastery became really important, luckily for me I just swap 1 or 2 items and Im up to ~27% mastery due to how well it scales.
