Widow Jane 10 for memory maker for me for exact opposite reason. My mom passed (she was 88) and I really bonded with my sister, brother in law, and my wife that night while drinking and reminiscing.
First of all Sorry for your loss. Love to hear that you all bonded over whiskey. Everyone has that bottle that they can just look at and have it bring up a moment that is important to them. Awesome to hear this one reminds you of mom!
Great list. Mine would be, #1 Jim Beam 7yr/KC9, #2, KCSiB/Booker's, #3 Your ASW or Blue Note, #4 something I dont have, RR15 maybe or a CNA, #5 I've made a lot of memories sharing Baker's 7, and that makes me happy. Killed another one this weekend with friends. Cheers!
So may things I want to say… 😂😂 .. surprise to no one.. 1 - I love that you’re coming around on the ECBP. Always been in my picks and it’s cool to see someone who was a hater turn. The c923 is a great one. 2 - Memory Maker bottle is also my favorite category. Because for us, that’s what this is really about. The memories. I had such a hard time narrowing mine down bc I have so many great shared bottles experiences. But the WJ13 story is amazing. Love that.
Its your list so not cheating. I wouldn't consider Sagamore a craft distillery anymore they source out some serious juice to many. Still great though. I'd like to try that Pa. Bottle I'm original from Pa. Nice list. Enjoy!!
Sagamore is tricky - I LOVE their offerings - the only product that contains their own distillate and doesn't include any sourced rye from MGP is their Bottled-in-Bond product - which is fantastic too. They are rye beasts.
Actually, I just picked up their small batch version of the regular rye whiskey and it is totally made by Sagamore with no outside sources according to the label
@@BourbonOfTheWeek Correct - I did the distillery tour about 1.5 years ago and they explained the gradual transition from sourced MGP to their own distillate. They are a fantastic distillery - absolutely killing it with the rye offerings. Can't wait for the 9 Year Reserve Series later this year.

I ordered the 5 grain port finished and rye port finished... both are excellent and worth the purchase.
Love to hear that! Midstate has a solid future

It's such a cool category to add in there, it really is what it's all about!

Yeah I was back and forth on sagamore but I agree I think they made it.

Yeah l believe almost all the stuff they put out now is produced by them. I don't think it was always that way though
