I am a nursing student. I broke the stethoscope provided by the school which is crappy by the way. So I decided to buy the 3M littmann Core stethoscope, I do not regret it. If you are already this message don’t waste your time just go ahead and buy it. Worth it

Why not show samples of sounds recorded with this stethoscope? It would be completely anonymous and would provide an actual understanding of the sound quality of the recordings.
If we turn it into digital mode it doesnt have to use app? Can it be used for hearing loss?
Hi Firman - the Littmann CORE has dual listening modes, analog and amplified, which do not require the app.
We highly recommend it for those with hearing loss. The up to 40x amplification and active noise cancellation feature is a game-changer. The CORE can also pair with select Bluetooth enabled hearing aids when using the Eko App!

What's different with 3200 e-stethoscope littman?
Hi Annisa - The Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope toggles between analog and amplified listening modes, offers Bluetooth connectivity to a mobile device and has a dual-sided chestpiece with two tunable diaphragms. The Littmann Electronic Stethoscope model 3200 has been discontinued. It operated in amplified mode only, was not compatible with mobile devices, and had only a single-sided electronic diaphragm.
Do we have to charge the stethoscope, Like mobile phone? Is it battery operated..?
Hello - The battery in the CORE Digital Attachment will need to be charged. A USB charging cable is provided in the box. The Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope will take about 2 hours to fully charge. The light will turn green when it is fully charged. A fully charged battery should last at least 8 hours in continuous transmission mode (ON, Bluetooth paired with Eko app).

- I have a question about the durability/sustainability of this stethoscope.
- The stethoscope is based on a rechargeable battery (battery with accumulator) with a working duration of 8 hours (in a 24-hour shift, it must be charged 2 times = a lot of wasted time).
- being on a rechargeable battery, the operating time will decrease by 20-30% per year... just like any device (eg: phone, laptop, tablet) after several charges.
- Is it possible to purchase spare rechargeable batteries? for example: the litmann 3M 3200 is powered by batteries (AAA alkaline batteries)
- no store/partner store provides extended battery warranty(battery with accumulator)
- is there any solution in this case, assuring me as a customer, that the battery-accumulator will not fail after the warranty period? (2 years warranty) Thank you!
Hi Toni - thanks for your questions! When fully charged, the battery provides 8 hours of continuous digital use, and we recommend turning the digital unit off between each use to maximize battery life. The digital unit also has a 5-minute standby mode to conserve battery life. To power the digital unit back on, push the toggle to OFF then the ON position. The white light will appear to indicate the device is ON.
The battery for the 3M Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope cannot be changed by the user and does not have spare batteries available for purchase.

Hi Shiv - A USB charging cable is provided in the box. To charge your device, insert the supplied micro-USB cable into the USB port of the device and plug the other (USB-A) end into a UL-certified USB wall charger (max 5 volts).

However, if your hearing aids are Bluetooth compatible and can connect to your phone, you can utilize the ‘Play from Headphones’ feature in the app to stream sound wirelessly into the hearing aids from the phone. It is vital that you validate with your audiologist that your hearing aids can produce the necessary frequencies to perform a diagnostic auscultation. Can i connect my airpods to it ?
Hi there - The 3M Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope does not pair directly with Bluetooth headphones. You may be able to listen to sounds via Bluetooth headphones by pairing your Littmann CORE Stethoscope to the Eko app on your mobile device and then listening live via Bluetooth through the app.
