- I could finally test and demonstrate to you how the EKO Duo digital stethoscope works that also includes an ECG function.
A groundbreaking update to one of the oldest medical technologies.
You can find more about the company here: www.ekohealth....
Note: As usual, we don't accept sponsorship or any kind of payment for product tests and reviews, and the company only sees the video when you do.
The problem is that you are obliged to be in contact with EKO , you can't buy the diagnostic software once , you have to have a subscription. Second there is no ability to turn the sound to a simple mp3 . Beyond these two things, I believe that it is amazing !!! 👏 . Thank you for the video.
Nowhere did they publish youd have to buy s subscription. Thank you for telling me! I almost bought the duo today. I'll get the regular littman version they sell. At least then i can choose when i need the subscription and still have a stethoscope that works.
Update: i contacted them. They say there's no subscription needed and that isnt likely to change in the (at least near) future. The obly subscription service they have is for Telehealth. Because I didnt set up an appointment for a demo i do not know what their Telehealth subscription plan is actually for.
@@HiNinqi Thank you, please keep me updated. Yes the subscription is for telehealth .
Subscription? What subscription? I highly encourage whoever is going to write a comment to do some research first. There is no subscription needed with either one of them. I have both of them and I just love them!!
@@anp730what do u recommend to a chest physician eko 500 or eko core or litmann core?
Köszönjük!
Thank you, Gergely!
@@Medicalfuturist thanks for letting us know about cutting edge technology as well as the health literacy knowledge what U share.
Thank you for video, this was very insightful , it will be great if you could more make videos on how such devices can be used to automatically detect and understand the magnitude of disease in patients. Best regards
The EKO subscription model is a real barrier for me.
They told me there isnt a subscription to use the eko duo nor eko app. Only for Telehealth.
What subscription??! Aughhh... People, if unsure, call the company. THERE IS NO SUBSCRIPTION ATTACHED TO THIS PURCHASE!
Muito obrigado pela explicação
Littman is the best but after intense research the digital stethoscope last only 2 years. That's why they don't offer extended warranty. If your a cardiologist than you need a new one pretty much every year anyways. Plus the app subscription is turn off for us and constantly recharging the digital part.
Best thing I found today on yt
Thank you! :)
good explanatory video
Glad you liked it!
Anything that has ECG without subscription?
Will this stethoscope amplify the sound and even hear the pleth? I’m a medic and have been wanting a stethoscope that I can hear while we have lights and sirens on
I cannot speak to the Core 500.
But I am an EMT of 7 years, I bought the original EKO cause my hearing has suffered from the sirens.
It's been a game changer. I can hear clear lung sounds, BP, or even murmurs even with sirens and yelling family members.
I can only imagine the new one is even better.

It doesn't measure that.
It can't hear blood pressure?

Duo has poor ergonomics. The flat shape makes it difficult to avoid touching the patient's skin constantly. The long rectangle shape makes it placement awkward on the patient because most humans do not have flat chests.
The Eko 500 is far and above better
