    You forgot a MAP sensor my dude. It is a must have when getting boosted. Not to be confused with a MAF. Solid video as per usual man. Great seeing all your progress. I'm finally boosted myself and love it. Learned a lot and definitely spent alot. Lol
    EDIT: I should also had, have some emergency money up your sleeve for the worst cas scenario (*Kaboom*) and for any issues that will come up, (and unless your one lucky sob things will come up).

    You completely forgot the most important part! You need tires to keep you pointed in the right direction.
    Nice run down. My car is turbo and it's absurd how quickly things pile up. Small things like the turbo blanket, all new fluids in the car, good tires, new spark plugs, etc all really add up.
    I'd recommend that anyone looking to turbo their car replace their spark plugs, especially on higher mileage cars (over 50k miles).
    I'd recommend also taking care of any oil leaks, as they can become a fire hazard very quickly. Be prepared to get all your fluids replaced (transmission and differential as well, c'mon).
    Also- upgrade your brakes! Get some new rotors, better pads, and new brake fluid.
    In lieu of the p3 vent gauge, I'd recommend ECUTEK's Bluetooth connection. You can monitor and datalog from your phone or tablet, as well as raise/lower boost, toggle maps, toggle traction control, etc- it's amazing and is less expensive. It's incredibly useful to be able to datalog on your phone and email that to your tuner!! No need for a stupid laptop with the cable riding in the passenger seat.

    • @EarsXBL
      @EarsXBL 3 года назад

      True true tires & brakes are important. I think the EcuTek defaults you to buy the Bluetooth option now.

    Hey man just wanted to add that be careful running e85 24/7. I do and after a while i had sent my injectors out to get cleaned by a fuel injector shop and they were pretty clogged up. I recommend doing this to all 8 of your injectors after a while! Also please do the direct injector seals. They like to go bad after a while and cause all sort of nasty misfires. Trust me. Just saving you from dealing with the issues i am dealing with. Also instead of getting the p3 vent gauge, if people want they can grab blueooth ecutek and view the gauges on their phone and it still can function as an ecutek cable so some people can save some money on doing that instead. Aside from the radium catchcan, verus makes a very good one too. But yea man, your definitely right on these prices. I spent well over 10k on my turbo build even while installing literally everything myself.

    • @rawrbrz
      @rawrbrz 3 года назад

      with a flex fuel kit you can fill up on some 93 once a week and that will clean out the injectors

    Yo whats type of car do you have?

  • @corndawgz
    @corndawgz 3 года назад +1

    u didn't add rods, boosted fa20 are known to break rods, need a good cooling oil cooler, etc, and if u drive a 14 or below replace your coil pack, lastly you need better rear axels which also break all the time on the stocks.

    • @EarsXBL
      @EarsXBL 3 года назад

      I included the oil cooler. Rear axels break if you’re launching the car hard repeatedly which isn’t what this car is designed for. Didn’t include rods bc most people are terrified boosting past 350whp and that’s when you can run into trouble.
