Stunning dress and workmanship....looks great on too
Gorgeous dress, and perfect fit. Well done. Thank you for the tutorial.
It is just so gorgeous no wonder you love it.
I love the little buttons and the fit
is amazing
Just wonderful thank you so much for sharing ⚘
What a beautiful beautiful dress. I certainly wish I could draft my own patterns like this or I knew somebody who would draft them for me. I love sewing but would dearly love to be able to make my own creations like this it’s beautiful and what is even better is it’s wholly and solely yours.
I really like your method of construction. Completing the front and back separately makes it so much easier when putting those pieces together. The final garment looks beautiful!
What a beautiful feminine dress. Very nice.
You pay so much attention to detail and finishing. It’s wonderful! Every video is a treat to watch and I keep coming back to rewatch and learn techniques when I want to implement similar elements in something I’m constructing. Thank you 🙏🏼
Really interesting to see how you use ready to wear dresses as inspiration, but add your own twist. I've just tried on a load of dresses in John Lewis. Now heading home to plan my own versions.
I've also got two lengths of broidery anglaise in my stash - you've inspired me to combine them in a dress.
What a beautiful feminine dress. The fabric is just gorgeous and if you swapped out the wooden buttons for pearl ones, would make a beautiful summer wedding dress.
You always seem to find super fabrics that I love! Lol ❤️
What an elegant dress, well done. Just love all your dresses. Thank you for showing us how to do it. 👍👍
Of all the sewists that I watch on RUclips, you, Susanne, are, by far, the most talented. In every aspect of making your sewing videos: from your unparalleled pattern-making and construction techniques, perfect video skills, your beautiful fabrics and designs, etc., all of which put you at the very top of my list! You have made the wardrobe I wish I had! I thank you not only what I've learned, but also know that the time that I get to spend with you is delightful!
Love the neck and sleeve finish - no love it all. You look wonderful in it.🦘🇦🇺
Everything you make is wonderful, but this dress may just be my favourite of them all! 😍 So elegant!
Fabulous dress thanks for sharing
Wow! I love the fabric and you look fabulous in this dress. I love to see how you accessorize your outfits. Great job!
Wow!!! Awesome tutorial. Always wanted to know how to insert lining for a button down dress and now I’m just thrilled 👍❤️

The dress and your talented skills sewing it together make for a very beautiful dress. I wish I could find some linen like that.
I think this is one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen! Just absolutely gorgeous!😊👍❤
This dress is stunning! You are a true artist.
Loved this video and especially appreciate seeing how you attached the lining under the front placket.
Brilliant!
The dress you made is so elegant, luv the fabric.
Absolutely beautiful dress. Thank you for sharing your skills. I always learn something when I watch you. ☆

This is just superb. Absolutely beautiful 😍
Your dress is beautiful! I hope you can show a video on how did you make the pattern transformations.
Blessings.
Wow, awesome! Thanks sooo much for sharing, I always learn so much from you!❤️❤️❤️
Gorgeous!! I love your attention to detail!!! xo
Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous!
Love to see you sewing' and am learning from you. Thank you.
Excellent video! Thank you.
I want to add shoulder and maybe collar gathers, and a high collar, to a dress which buttons all the way up. I am making a similar dress with long sleeves for my mother.
I also want the gathers under the bust, rather than at the waist. Will it still ruche that way? Or do I need to add a belt?
Very nice, thank you
Hello! I've been watching your channel for a while, and learning tips and tricks from you here and there. I just bought some fabric that I'd like to sew using a pattern as it's really fancy... I wonder if you sell any of your patterns? There's a few that I would like to purchase.
Stunning dress! You brighten my Fridays, thank you 🌸
🥰😍😊
Beautiful, thank you so much for sharing!
Love this dress-great teaching. Is it possible to purchase this pattern?
Absolutely Love ❤ this make!!
Absolutely stunning!
Gorgeous! What is the purpose of the longer stitch, besides when gathering?
Wow! This by far is one of my favorite creations of yours ...there are so many different techniques used in this dress and its stunning on you. I’ve learned so much watching you sew and again thank you for all your hard work !!
🥰🥰🥰
Hi , I am new to your awesome sewing channel. I have been looking to see how you draft the original patterns. I have gone to videos etc. Could you kindly give me the guidance of where to start with your channel to be able to catch up and create the way you do? I would like to draft the basic patterns then be able to adjust as you do. Thank you
Thank you! Brava!
such a cute dress! i can't wait to give this a try 😊 is there a reason why you chose to have a separate neck pattern piece, rather than simply building that into your bodice piece? was it just for aesthetic reasons?
I love the whole process of watching your makes Suzanne, they are so informative and you have great attention to detail.
Another beautiful addition to your handmade wardrobe 💕 how are you finding your new Pattern Making book ?
Thanks Elaine, that’s very kind of you to say 💕 to date I’ve only made 1 block from it but I’ve drafted 2 patterns from that block and I’m super happy with the outcome of both👍 more testing required but so far so good 👍
Danke
Why you don't have new videos? Love your method
This is stunning Suzanne so beautiful and feminine 🥰 is the fabric still available any longer ?
Thanks so much Wendy💕 i think they still have a few meters 👍👍👍
Do you wash your fabric before you start?
Wow, another beautiful dress! Would you please do something to make it easier to hear you when you are constructing the pieces? I can hear just fine during the intro time and when you come back on to say goodbye. I have had my volume up to 100% and still have a difficult time hearing you. Thanks so much. I really like your channel.
My mildly "obsessions" are bone, wooden, square, antler carved, metal, pewter, and weirdly shaped buttons is this accepted? well I love it anyway, oh by the way that is an awesome dress
:), and thank for letting me share my mild obsession here :D
