Thank you so much for your service, RB. I was really moved by your story and how therapeutic collecting is for you. As much as I enjoy collecting new, nothing much compares to getting your hands on an authentic piece of your childhood-it’s a euphoric feeling, for sure. Glad you found some of that with this awesome Remco tank. Must’ve been a blast!
Familiar with the Bulldog tank from my childhood. Between my brothers and I we had the large ones and the small ones. They could go forward and reverse but didn't turn. The big ones used 4 D cell batteries and the small ones used 2. We liked to knock down Lincoln log building and climb them over obstacles. One of the coolest things was when you fired a shell, the projectile would fly out the barrel and the brass shell would then fall out the ejection hole under the barrel. Good times.
What a cool toy. So well made. Very nice example.
If you had one of these in the late 70s it would have been a hand me down. I remember the TV ads for these when I was a kid.
Yes. Definitely a 60's Remco toy. Don't know where Dad got 2 of them.. but we got'em.. lol
@@RBsToyBox By the late 70s the kids that had them would have been grown up and they were just taking up space in some garage. Cheers!
