These are really nice, self contained people living aboard their lovely boat! To see how close and affectionate they are together is beautiful, and a testament to their harmony and happiness together in the small space of their boat home.
We currently live on a 1987 37-foot Silverton Convertible, but we just recently purchased a 1969 42-foot ChisCraft that we are in the process of renovating. GREAT boats and built SO WELL! It’s not just a cliche when it comes to boats--> They absolutely don’t make ‘em like they used to!!!
Probably the best video that we’ve watched so far on living in a boat. As 20 year truckers you guys have lots of space. We believe we could adapt to this.
Anyone should be happy to have these two sweet people as neighbors! They have learned to appreciate the things in life that really matter. Wether you live in a sticks and bricks house, cabin, Van, car, bus or boat, it's not the type of structure that determines your happiness, it's your attitude about life in general and how you view and interact with people and friends and strangers. Learning to be satisfied and happy is an elusive thing. Sometimes maturity helps with that process and sometimes not. Education may contribute but it is more than likely a spiritual thing. I'm thankful for those people that achieve success in that endeavor. This couple is truly blessed as they have admitted, and I pray they may continue to be so.
I don't have emoji's on my laptop but I did read it all the way through. I love this! I am all about living tiny. I've done it 3 times and intend to do it again when we retire. We were just talking about this yesterday, that we would love to be able to live on water. If you win that lottery, I'd love to have your boat! If I win the lottery, I'll buy you the boat you want! Hope this finds you both well and still loving life!
Great video. I spend time on my 25 foot sailboat but limited by docking fees when sailing the great lakes. Some transient dockage is $100 / night. I try to anchor out in protected water and use the dingy to go ashore 2 out of 3 nights. Being retired it is a great experience and fuel cost is low. I certainly respect these two for their free life and how they figured out a way to afford it. Thumbs up.

Firstly, a cruiser over 5 metres must be registered, ie the registered owner. If it goes over 10 knots the skipper needs a license (pretty cheap, pretty easy, but you gotta know the rules of the sea).
Maintainance is bad onthat boat and getting beyond them, paint is bad on the cabin ,motors ,past it , they need family help with dollars to repair things
Think you could play that music at the end any louder??? trying to hear the final comments became impossible! Don't be a jerk and lower the volume so we can hear what they are saying!
Entropy is the exact opposite of the law of the universe. The universe is constantly expanding, and getting more complex. Entropy as we know it is short sighted as it is often used to explain the degradation of material without understanding that degradation and death is simply a mechanism for continuing the forward projection of the universe to become more complex.
@@Differentmedia The idea that redshift is a factor of recession is debatable. Space is an area absent of matter. Presuming that you believe the medium of universe is space: Into what is universe supposedly expanding?
How come repentance will take care of us ? Today you will repent on something you've done and tommorow you will sin again. You repent this morning and at night before bedtime you will speak ill of your neighbor. Repentance is just a process for us to limit our wrong doings and makes a slight control for us to sin. We'll keep on sinning while we're on earth and its inevitable but after death we will be born again in the presence of Almighty God. All of us
@@rubenmendoza7303 We must train ourselves to monitor our thoughts at all times. Eventually we start automatically discarding thoughts that lead us to sin. We must also monitor what we look at, hear and say. Then ask Jesus for help once we begin helping ourselves to change. I had to stop watching TV and Hollywood 11 years ago. They are degenerate and deliberately dumb people down.
@@onefodderunit what makes you sure your thought is better than anyoune. God will decides who will have a good and bad thoughts and most of all you should analize yourself, your personality if you're a good one. Then you will answer to God and God would reply unknowingly to you

You sure as hell don't need a shower to clean yourself! We did fine without hot running water or shower for years. I'd do it again over an apartment any day!
@@Daviddickson Yes, I'd agree. So many people shower excessively often and for way too long. If you live on a boat (as I do), a quick swim (in summer) or pouring a pot of warm soapy water over yourself (in winter) will do and then a second pot od fresh to rinse off is amply sufficient 1 - 2 times a week to remove body odour. Mind you, a lovely long hot shower IS A BEAUTIFUL THING!

Very nice video hey were abouts is this filmed.
I got a houseboat but still keep my suv and my motorcycle for work
They must have offset the balast to get that beast on board
Delightful couple
'rather lost at the lake than found at the house
You're a blessed couple may God be with you always and protects you out in the sea. That's my dream too. To live and die alone in the sea. But i'm still waiting for a miracle to make this thing happen cause i'm 62 years old now and just an average earner.
god bless you both.
Which state you living?
A quick question, you had said that you have your Captains card. Is that required to have a boat
Firstly, a cruiser over 5 metres must be registered, ie the registered owner. If it goes over 10 knots the skipper needs a license (pretty cheap, pretty easy, but you gotta know the rules of the sea).
what age are you ?
Free and good live !! FUNN.....
Folks, this is where the overconsumption of alcohol will get you to.
Maintainance is bad onthat boat and getting beyond them, paint is bad on the cabin ,motors ,past it , they need family help with dollars to repair things
hang a tiny home from a steel chord and still hve a porch
👍🌳📹
Think you could play that music at the end any louder??? trying to hear the final comments became impossible! Don't be a jerk and lower the volume so we can hear what they are saying!
Bee Free
oh dear
My imagination to live on boat was, as Leonardo Dicaprio's days on boat. Not like this one :D
You gonna need to dry dock brah
I could use a boat
_"The universe will take care of us"_ Ha! And the state lotto? Entropy is the law of the universe. Repentance will take care of us.

The idea that redshift is a factor of recession is debatable.
All of us

We must train ourselves to monitor our thoughts at all times.
Then you will answer to God and God would reply unknowingly to you
I wish these people well but I found this depressing.
I didn't watch this video because of the commercials at the beginning! Thumbs down!!!
Hello Scotty, Welcome to RUclips for your first time. Hope you enjoy your time here!
How long since you poor souls had a shower?
What an inane question.
* Why on earth do you think they are "poor souls"?
* Didn't you see their shower at 1:40 - 1:50?
* Don't you think they might care about personal hygiene to shower when necessary?
* What sort of mindless fuckwit ARE YOU?
You sure as hell don't need a shower to clean yourself! We did fine without hot running water or shower for years. I'd do it again over an apartment any day!
@@Daviddickson
Yes, I'd agree.
Living the life! Not always easy but nothing ever is. Best of luck to you both.
