I'm probably a bit late on the reply, but I just wanted to point out that not getting Lantern Oven is actually a great thing. There is an event later on on the timeline which gives the settlement Lantern Oven for free, which has different outcomes depending on whether or not it has already been innovated; and you really want it to not be innovated yet. You want it to not be innovated, as you gain an awesome Secret Fighting Art and you don't have to waste the resources in the settlement's storage. Plus, getting Lantern Oven cloggs the innovation deck with innovation that only become good good later on in the game (making it harder to get Symposium).
Great episode - looking forward to the next episode, girl power! - How many females do you have in your settlement? To answer the question: Arrows does not count towards Bow specialization (but it didn't really matter in this case).
Good vid again guys, enjoying the saga of Hectors Fall. I would def have given up the refill for the innovation, no hesitation. Butcher check coming up...my experience has always been evasion is key and dash is just a lifesaver time and time again. Really curious to see what type of Butcher turns up, hope you avoid Lantern Frenzy and Hunger. That really can ruin your day. Prefer your dice rolled on screen / board rather than dice tower off screen...feels a bit more personal. Anyone else think we are due a few more settlement event cards to keep the game fresh? Seeing the same ones appear when you are so new in a game is a bit sad.
Thanks Stuart! It's been quite a ride with Hector's Fall, that's for sure. Yeah, more settlement locations would be nice for sure. I need to try and find some sleeves for those too to help with shuffling.
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Wade Ace I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I see, this is a diffent way to play it... You are playing kind of the "easy" mode. Whenever there are several ways "to do things" (for example what target the monster picks, what works and what not,...) our usual approach is: it's always the worst thing possible that happens. So the monster will attack the weakest target, things do not work if not explicitly stated, and so on...
You can do it but you don't have to! Rule of Death is for uncertain situations and quick play only. If you e.g. have the same distance to survivors you are allowed to pick the route or victim.
It's pretty dang old in internet terms but I am really enjoying this playthrough.
That hunt roll hurtva lot. Like damn you need karmic dice turned on XD
I don’t know anything about these types of games, but this one is fascinating. I love these so far
It's always fun when the Satan twins come to town.
...Bringing jealousy and doom to the settlement
I would totally would have spent a reroll for the free innovation

I'd have to pull it out to check.. But, I know we do have slightly more females than males in our settlement.

Time to move up to level 2!
Agreed!
You guys have some of the worst luck when it comes to die rolls I have ever seen lmao. Loving the play through though.
Tyler - Totally agree :( Not sure how to fix that...
