This is the third time I've called it: you can't use two pieces of monster grease on the same character. Look at p.45 of the rules book, under "Duplicate Gear". It specifies that, with the exception of weapons, a character cannot have more than one of the same gear card in their gear grid.

George - We corrected that, but like I said in an earlier comment, we had recorded many episodes ahead.. I don't have a decked out DeLorean to go back and correct it :(

@@PrattskiTheTabletopGamer There is a very easy solution!! Upload all your episodes, so we can binge watch! :) :)

Hah - well, I've got some business travel coming up here, and I'd like to be able to keep the every-Friday-release thing going whilst I'm gone. We have episodes 12 and 13 recorded already, and Matt and I are going to have a full Saturday KDM recording sesh in a couple weekends. So, no binging! Sorry bro :)

This series of yours convinced me to buy the game! I'm glad I did, it's pretty awesome.
My first encounter with the phoenix started with deja vu being played as the first ai card, instantly erased 2 survivors. Surprisingly still won the fight!
I think one of the pros of fighting the phoenix is that it can help get some seasoned survivors quickly in a pinch, although it is a risky method. The finger of god I think is a good weapon as well. I plan on getting the armor in my campaign to try it out.

Michael - SWEEEET!! You're going to love it more and more as you get further into it, and it is totally worth it. And congrats on the first Phoenix fight! I have yet to ever try to build the phoenix armor. You'll have to tell me how it goes if you do!

That's KDM how I like it. You can never be sure what happens next.
You weren't prepared and then its no surprise to get in trouble.
Insanity 10+ is the way to success here.
    Details:
+ Pitying Sigh: You defined it the like you wanted it to be. When you are insane you get a chance to avoid the following. “Otherwise” should read, if you don’t spend the survival.
    + 30:00
You forgot to apply the consequences of the Destroyed Genitals (bleed, disorder, insanity).
+ 46.55 You cannot dash during Time Stop. All survivors are doomed! And you forgot the age token with the Trap attack.
+ At 49:45, 1:08:40, 1:16:30, 1:27:00 and 1:32:20 more missing age tokens. At least you recalled one of them later on.
    Good that you avoided disdain...
+ 1:12:10 you moved 6 spaces instead of 5. You better should not stop during movement.
+ 1:26:00 Forgot the razorwind and the bleed. So you won’t have triggered the trap on your next move.
+ In the aftermath you get an understanding for all survivors with age tokens.
In general it seems you get too excited (understandable) and therefore lose concentration.
I think it would be better to harp the Rancid Melon Stench away. Its just one wound more you have to deal but so many less hits you get.

    THE HAND! IT IS COMING!
REMEMBER! The Hand does not lose cards from his AI deck when taking damage.

We're pumped, and frightened... Really don't know what to expect with this dude. I have only fought him once or twice, but that was well over a year ago, so I have mostly forgotten what he's about.

No spoilers, but a tip for The Hand: Try to balance your affinities on your gear grid so you have a 'white' aura.

This was an episode full of Karma! First, the (illegally stacked) second monster grease gets unmade by the Hunt event.
Then, at 1:26:07 you forget to do Razor Wind on the character being attacked (which would have knocked him back out of range). His very next attack hits the trap card, ultimately leading to his death in the following monster turn.

I'm chain commenting, sorry. But with the knockdown situation, my group has, I believe, a rather elegant solution to physically tipping a model on its side. We do not glue the model's base into the insert. If a model is knocked down, we remove and set aside the insert until the model stands back up.

    • @PrattskiTheTabletopGamer

That's an interesting idea.. But, one that's unfortunately too late for me to try :) All of my bases are glued together already :) But a great recommendation! Thank you for sharing that.

Why is this episode not in the play list?
Also The Hand's AI deck doesn't lose cards when you wound him.

Hi Gene - Fixed. I've added it to the playlist now. And yes, we discovered that about The Hand when we got to him.

Hey there, might have been addressed elsewhere, but where did you acquire the various deck stands, etc... you use during these games?
And yes, I've seen the giant settlement board, heh.

Knock down makes all attacks hit on 3+

    • @georgea5162
      @georgea5162 5 лет назад

I think they've done that correctly (or maybe they missed something?)

@@georgea5162 I think you are right, there was a round that rolling 3 dice, hitting once, and then surging for 1 or 2 more hits, that seemed they were not considering 3+ since I could not see the values, but latter on, they mention the rule. On another note, don't the Phoenix have the Zeal trait?
