I just came back from Komodo....Batu Balong is definitely one of the most beautiful dive sites in the world. So beautiful that we requested to dive on that same site twice.
Hey Will :) Glad you are watching my videos. Just hope you also subscribed ... or I might have to come over and put things right ;) Are you planning a trip to Komodo. If not, you should seriously consider it.
@@LiveaboardLife hey Yann yes ofcouse i have subscribed but I also just bumped into this vid. Yeh myself and Marlz are heading to Indo for a month so diving a few places around. Komodo one of them. Are you still in indo or Mozambique?
@@willhoworth2532 I'm in Bali at the moment. Just waiting for my work permit to be approved, then I'm going back to work on a liveaboard in Raja Ampat again.
1000% agree just be aware, Komodo not suitable for less experience divers otherwise might be struggling with current as Indonesian diver, Komodo is way better than Raja Ampat (in my personal opinion Raja Ampat is beauitiful but kind of boring for me when landed at Sorong airport (before embark onto boat) no holiday vibes at all at that city While in Komodo, Once landed at airport, immediately welcomed by holiday atmosphere As a adreninle seekers diver Komodo has so many interesting divesites, each of them has their own characterisctics Batu Bolong for the coral and fishes Shotgun for strong current experience Castle Rock for the adrenaline rush, negative entry and fight aginst current to land at the best spot for big fishes show many many more
I'm an ssi rescue diver with 34 dives and my last dive was in Feb. 2023 at Maldives. I'll be going to Komodo this July and planning to do Batu Bolong & Shotgun. Will you recommend doing straight these 2 dives after more than a years gap of diving or it'll be all fine?
Glad you like the video. I was actually working in Komodo on a liveaboard. Honestly, I don't really know much of the dive centres there, but Uber Scuba and Scuba Junkie has good reputations.

My friend was lost here a few decades ago , body never recovered till these days .
Sorry to hear.
Very detailed explanation! Thank you. Which dive center did you visit in Komodo?
Glad you like the video. I was actually working in Komodo on a liveaboard. Honestly, I don't really know much of the dive centres there, but Uber Scuba and Scuba Junkie has good reputations.
Awesome video. Would this dive site suitable for beginner?
No dive site is worth risking all that downward current for me
Bad
:) What is bad?
Bad means it's good in slang. It's similar to awesome.
