My girlfriend is a 1st grade teacher and she told me a student came up to her the other day. He asked her if he could show her something cool and she said of course. He should her one of your episodes that he was watching on their iPads during electronics time. She told him all about how we watch blue world as well and how I dive also. Showing them my pictures of fish and wrecks I’ve dove all over. They were fascinated. Thank you Jonathan for keeping the kids interested and hopefully making future divers out of them.
Ive been diving for 4 years now (15) and ive watched blue world since i started, definitely keeps me interested when i cant go on dives.
That’s so sweet ! Thanks for sharing
That's awesome!!!!
Tf is electronic time. How about book time lol
@@1hunglow582 probably something to do with diving online, what will you get from reading 4 pages of a book twice a week
I’m scared of going into the ocean, but I’m fascinated by all the sea creatures. So I’m always thankful for these videos.
Same here 😅
Honestly there is no need to be scared my friend. It's beautiful down there. And after first or second dive you will forget all about the fear lol
Me too😓
I played Subnautica too much
I'm with you on that one!!!
I'm a local of Belize and it's to see that people from other countries appreciate the blue hole more than I do even though I will never go near it
You know it’s going to be a good day when the blue world uploads
😎 Thanks!
Couldn't agree more
I binge watched this channel during lockdown and its beautiful to see how our world really is. I love it.
It's like a vertical reef. I can't believe how small you looked when next to the stalactites! They were huge. Great vid. Thanks guys.
Our beautiful Belize 🇧🇿 ❤
This was so amazing!
Amazing to see after all these years this channel is still as amazing as it was in the past, great work John and the rest of the blue world crew.
Thanks for watching!
I love when people go anywhere in Belize because I'm from there☺
As a diving enthusiast I love watching your videos. A valuable addition would be if you mention your dive time, depth and temperature of the water.
Another blue world video yayyyyyyyy
Amazing!! Even after all these years, when I was little, I still watch your show and of course I still love it!
Diving 4-5x a day sounds like a dream 😍
dive, eat, sleep and repeat!
I get to dive the blue hole in just a few days…I’m so excited! I keep coming back to your Belize episodes to get hyped!
Woo hoo exciting!! Have fun!
This episode is INSANE!! The blue hole is such a cool dive spot, and definitely a place I want to dive someday. Those stalactites were really cool too!
pruth
Love from belize🇧🇿
Love from belize❤❤
I love these videos. You guys have been doing this a long time! I am very happy you guys keep uploading, you guys are my favorite RUclips channel!
Thanks! We love it, so we keep doing it.
Yup. That's definitely going on my bucket-list
i once dove at the blue hole in DAHAB Egypt - this was so amazing - I hope to go there one more time
I've done both blue holes - the Dahab one is more interesting in my opinion as the wall dive from the bells, across to the blue hole (if you do it that way) is far more interesting than anything in the Belize blue hole. That said, I did have a curious bull shark follow alongside me from 40 up to around 20m before it went off into the blue in the Belize one but overall, I think its massively overrated. I'd say the couple of dives you do after the Belize Blue hole, on the way back to land are however far more interesting than the blue hole dive itself.
Great video! Thank you for continuously putting out excellent content.
Such a nice blue hole! 😃
i have been watching you for years you are my idol, peace and love
Awesome Thank You!
You're welcome!
Spectacular. Living vicariously through you has been amazing. Thank you again for sharing. Thanks Zack and the music was beautifully composed.
Glad you enjoyed it! And that was our final episode with Zach! 😢
@@BlueWorldTV Darn, why if I'm not being too personal. We love Zack!
@@BlueWorldTV oof, gonna miss the Jonathan-Zach duo but if you see this, we all wish you well Zach!
WOW!!! What an amazing place!!! All the stalactites & everything!!!
Your videos are amazing. My son and I have a tradition of watching one each night before bed and both look forward to it. We have learned so much! He is only 8 but looks forward to when he can get certified to dive.
That is awesome!
Amazing video!!
Thanks for sharing!!
love the video ❤️❤️ keep diving and keep it up
I want to start this so much
Love you work mr bird I hope some day I can continue that
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is wonderful and amazing😍
Beau Travail comme d'habitude🔬🎬🍀Alex From France🙏🌌
Dove Blue Hole in Palau years ago, it's much smaller than the one in Belize. A hole is a hole, I prefer to dive tropical reefs with interesting corals and sea life.
Wow Belize 🇧🇿
a quick and fun video. loved it
There isn't a heck of a lot to see on the dive other than the stalactites, so it's definitely a quick video.
Love your videos.
My first day here haha it all starter when I decided to look up wolf fish on you tube instead of Google hahaha amazing find
Welcome aboard!
Thank you Goose, -now i know where to hide the bodies-
Wow 🤩
This would certainly give the blue hole and the blue arch at Dahab, Egypt a run for its money
I haven't seen those.
Jonathan that place is really beautiful, but it has a dark history behind it that I recommend u read
@@BlueWorldTV @Mo AlZaben I've mentioned on another comment above - I've been lucky enough to dive both. I enjoyed the dives after the Belize Blue hole much more than the actual Blue Hole dive itself. I'd say the Blue Hole in Dahab is a much more interesting dive overall than it's Belize counterpart though as the entrance through "the bells" and the swim along the wall on the way to the Dahab Blue Hole is a beautiful one. Regarding the arch in the Dahab Blue Hole - it looks incredible from above with the light coming through if you happen to catch it. I unfortunately wasn't tech qualified at the time so couldn't go beyond 40m down to the arch but now I am, I would love to do the dive again and drop down further to see the entrance to the arch.
A word of caution though - as a recreational diver on a single cylinder, it's tempting to push it to try to get down to the arch but extremely unwise to try. When you walk to the start of the dive, you literally have to walk past grave stones carved into the rocky walls that serve as a clear reminder of all of those that pushed their limits and paid the ultimate price; and there are a lot of them.
On a more positive note though, when I did the Dahab Blue Hole, there were free divers going down a line set in the middle. We'd see them drop down and descend well beyond our sight into the dark - and that was with me at 40m. Not seeing them come up for a few minutes was absolutely mind blowingly incredible, if not slightly nerve wracking but it really did give me a new found appreciation for free divers.
Proud Belizean here!🇧🇿
Jonathan you folks need an undersea ROV to get to those depths humans can't. Great blue hole dive today.
We have a ROV but it only goes to 100 meters....not deep enough for this!
I clicked Like before even watching it purely because it’d be AMAZING without a doubt! 😊
Thanks for the confidence!!!
awesome
Watching from Nepal ❤
I have watched all your videos. I liked it so much!!!!
I always checked for your new videos. I'm a huge fan of your adventures and favorite channel on RUclips.
Thanks!
I LOVE ❤ BLUE WORLD 🌎 💙
Beautiful 😍
Wonderful my dear friend
You should go to the blue hole in Dahab,Egypt. I know you guys are cave trained but not trimix?
There's a really nice technical required dive through a giant archway starting around 57 metres that leads out to the red sea.
The crazy thing IS that it's essentially a shore DIVE e. It has a beautiful rock mural for those that haven't made it and has a superstitious story about an unmarried beauty in her wedding dress calling people to its depths, apologies if you've covered it already but I couldn't find one in that site.
WOW Wow WOW 😲😍🥰
Another great and awesome video from my idol Sir Jonathan and his team. Keep it up and be safe.🤗
God bless
Thank you! 😃
Awesome
Yeaaaaaah!!!!!!! 🎉
The Taam ja' Blue Hole 900 ft: Hold my beer.
Noice! I’m from the island of San Pedro near the barrier reef.. glad to see pros diving the blue hole, stop by San Pedro town ambergris caye some time!
Thanks for sharing
I know we missed you when working in Bermuda. But if you ever come to Australia for some diving. Feel free to reach out to us for some exploring.
Where are you in Australia?
Yet another place to put on my list of "places to go dive because of a Jonathan Bird video".
BELIZE MENTIONED LETS GOO
Nice video. To be honest the patch reef on top seems more interesting
Yeah I agree!!
I hope you can do an episode on big bend seagrass aquatic preserve
good
What if tsunami comes??? That makes me scared... even when your videoes are quite interesting
I would love to do this and this is very interesting and I get to see what it would look like while experiencing it.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
There are similar holes in Jamaica too but they are on land can you check it out someway
Think I met u guys at radison pier I was on a catamaran called big momma, didn't even realize it was u guys
Sorry we missed you!
I love this channel, I would love to see this content in 4K resolution
I know, and I agree, but we have so many issues with people stealing our footage, we just can't post it in 4K.
We reserve the 4K for our Television broadcasters.
@@BlueWorldTV excellent, good to know
Yooooo that cool :0 i was gonna go pattaya in thailand and there's a beach sooo im gonna go dive/swim in it :)-
Great video, thank you! When are you headed to the bottom of that there 400 foot hole :p ? At least you would have plenty to look at during deco :D
LOL! Too deep for me!
Without th e right equipments that dept could kill
I want to dive with you and catch those colorful fishes to keep in my aquarium 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hwll yeah
They’ve just explored 600m deep blue hole in Saudi Arabia
Wow the stalactites are enormous! The scale of everything in the blue hole and the walls are massive! It's actually a little scary, some thalassophobia vibes with the depths below but I love the insight to what is actually in or around the Blue Hole!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰wow
Lots of clear crystal visibility of water must b priority
Your channel is best regarding water photoshoots. Very beautiful scenes and videos really love ❤️ it
My country ❤
How much times have you been to belize?
Only one time. We were there for 2 weeks, so we did a bunch of episodes.
RIP - Bryan from Vintage Double Hose 😢
😢 SO sad.
Hello Jonathan, would you mind if you share some of the soundtracks for your videos, such as the intro music and other songs?
When you go on these ships do people recognize you? Or do you have to explain what you do?
(thanks for specifying that the reefs are healthy. I appreciate knowing they are okay.)
On dive boats, most people are at least familiar with the show, even if they aren't huge fans. We usually have at least a few big fans on the boat and that's always fun.
you guys should make a how to dive video so we can learn how to get into diving as well
There are some things that should not be learned on RUclips! Divers should be trained by a qualified instructor.
@@BlueWorldTV yeah but i dont even know where to start to get an instructor 😭😭😭 like
Sir we are creating an informative video on The Great Blue Hole and wonder whether we could use a 10 second clip from this video, credited on screen to BlueWorldTV?
Hii very very nice jii big like👌👌
My dad swim the blue hole!
❣️❣️❣️
💙
Anyone know ow what first stage and his main is called
0:22 patches
Yeah
Patches gud
Technically, the shark that bumps the camera at the beginning of the episode is not Patches.
1:39 How do you animate? Or what platform do you guys use to animate? Just curious. :) Also, I’m just wondering what happened Shark Academy?
We use After Effects for our basic animations. Sometimes we start with a basic drawing in Illustrator or Photoshop, and then take it into after effects to add moving elements. Shark Academy went on hold because we ran out of shark species that we had footage of. We can actually do a couple more now...just need to get back to it.
@@BlueWorldTV Oh that makes sense. Before I was like, what happened to the series? You guys did a fantastic job with it and it’s one of my favorite ocean series of all time. Have you used Blender3d before? After effects is a good platform to do animation too. I used that to make a 9/11 animation once. How long does it usually take to make one of your productions?
@@BlueWorldTV You said you guys ran out of shark species? Hm yeah it can be hard. Are Megamouth Sharks hard to find? Oh wait a second Jonathan, here’s an idea: Mola Mola Sunfish. It’s not really a shark but it’s a really cool site. They can get huge. I’m from California and sometimes when I got whale watching I see them off the boat. I’m pretty sure you know what a Mola Mola is. It’s an iconic fish that is seen more commonly off the Californian coast. There’s also the Salmon Shark, though it lives in Alaska.
1:42 that is scary
Thank you so much for your ❤️ heart for taking time out of your day to like my video thank you
Is force fins still your favorite brand of scuba fins?
Sometimes. It really depends on what I'm doing. They are not good for frog kicking, so I don't wear them for cave diving. If I'm going to be doing any cave diving on a trip, I don't take the Force Fins.
Do you have to pay an extra fee for you to bring all your scuba equipment when flying to other countries to dive?
Usually not.
@@BlueWorldTV how many scuba equipment do you bring on board the plane
Come visit CAYE CAULKER shark and ray its fun
We did....episode coming next month.
@@BlueWorldTV OH MY GOD YOU ACTUALLY RESPONDED I used to watch you when i was small. like 10 years ago, this is my dream come true. My favorite episode is when you went to dive with the bull sharks. whenever you guys come out again i would be happy to give you a tour around my beautiful island. BELIZE
If ocean could submerge what used to be land, it could further do the rest of the land maybe except mount everest!! 😆
