@@FandomZone Actually Marvel is making Midnight Sons movie it may come out 2025 or 2026 but like Deadpool 3 its rumored to be rated R.
I also like that monsters look out for each other because humans don't take the time to understand them which isn't surprising but also tragic which is how alot of the universal monsters were like but nonetheless I want more of this

Gael's character is soft spoken and he gives his character lots of charm and charisma and Laura gives her character so much badassery lol don't know how else to put it. They both also have lots of great chemistry together. I need more of their characters plus need more man thing too!
No one has commented, but I THINK "Jack" has been using "Bruce Banner's" strategy (when "Rage Hulk" was still a problem) of pointing the monster's rage like a weapon. "Jack's" been putting himself in target range of evil monsters, during full moon cycles, all along.

This was so, so, SO GOOD!!! Easily one of my favorite things that Marvel has done!! Both Jack and Elsa were fantastic, and I can't wait to see more. A few other things:
1) They nailed Man-Thing!! He's my favorite Marvel monster, and I am so very happy with his introduction! As you said, "Whoever knows fear burns at the Man-Thing's touch!"
2) I haven't heard any reactors mention this yet, but there was a fun little easter egg in the opening narration when he said the phrase "where monsters dwell," which was the title of a long-running Marvel horror comic.
3) I strongly recommend that you watch the Disney+ documentary "Director by Night," which is about Michael Giacchino and his brother, and how they grew up making movies with their friends. It's extremely good!

huge fan of Werewolf by Night, I have issue #1 framed on my living room wall. It beyond exceeded my expectations. They captured the look of 1930's/1940's Universal Monsters "horror noir" flawlessly with the lighting and love the look of werewolf feeling very time era fitting as well. The 'reveal' of him transforming while camera focused on Elsa and his silhouette in the light was a brilliant shot selection highlight as well as the one take hallway scene.
Not only Jack scratching behind the ear when talking about being a human but the way he scratched😂😂
Judging by Maria Hill mentioning Man-Thing as a SHIELD prisoner in an Agents of SHIELD episode and the giant Man-Thing bust on Sokkar in Thor: Ragnarok, I can see how Jack could be getting annoyed at having to rescue him from such odd predicaments.
I can’t believe they can handle this style so well.
Hope Marvel can make this into series or let them show up in MCU.

My favorite thing marvel has done in awhile. Adore this special. The amount of humanity they showed through the "monsters" was really really cool.
I haven't seen a single person hate on this film, and I think you know what that means: Halloween special every year!

I am so not a horror fan, but this was absolutely delightful! Loved Ted & Jack & could easily watch a buddy comedy with the 2 of them ❤️
39:35 I think it's safe to assume that this is not the last time we see Elsa, Jack, and Ted. I could even see the studio fast tracking their next appearances to be in the Blade film, now that we know they're reworking the script. That is if they can figure out a way to do that without doing disservice to Mahershala Ali.

Apparently the Bloodstone Mansion/Temple was apparently in Arizona, even though most of the of the hunters were of different nationalities not American from various countries around the world 🌎 🤔. (That black hunter had an American accent, and Jack is closer in that he's from Mexico 🇲🇽 🤔 (the MCU's version of him, I mean 😅).

Just wanted to say that what I like about this channel's Marvel reactions is that you both know the comics so well. I watched a reaction with GOBS more views where they had no clue who Man-Thing was, or Jack, or Elsa. So thanks for loving the source material.

This is where the fun begins! Love this special!!!!! So satisfying that Disney is allowing Marvel to share more darker stories in the MCU! This was a 10/10 for me! I don't know much about Man-Thing, but his design was incredible. I heard he came out few months before Swamp-Thing. Regardless, enjoyed the reaction 🙏🏽

Who is the true monster? Ted didn't want to hurt anyone, but he was going to defend himself. Elsa's stepmother was more of the monster than Jack and Ted.
I'm not into horror that much but I loved it! I hope we get to see Jack,Ted and Elsa again :)
I hope marvel does a 2 hour black and white legion of monsters or Midnight Sons movie in the future that gets released theatrically it could be such an amazing cinema going experience I can't wait to see more of Elsa bloodstone, jack Russell werewolf by night and Ted Sallis Man thing
The hunter in white felt like a Castlvania character for some reason.

I really wish the "Human Statue" had been in the maze.
Well since Elsa acquired the 'bloodstone' with her acclomplished skill set will be even more powerful. She will have like her father Ulysses who had that same stone imbedded in his breastplate for 10,000 years enhanced strength, agility, healing, and longevity. Elsa will have a newfound lease on her relationship dynamic with monsters after dealing with Jack and Ted realizing all of them aren't bad just misunderstood. She will form an entirely new team of monster hunters both human and monster to fight what goes bump in the night.

I couldn't help but think "Bye, bye discount Blade" when Elsa killed Barasso. I kinda wish halfway through the real Blade showed up to help. I wonder if that idea was tossed around at any point?
Michael Giacchino apparently didn't really think he would do a good job making it interconnected and had a pretty clear idea of what he wanted. Conversely we're definitely somewhere and sometime inside the MCU so anything might happen with the characters.

Love your reactions, always good to see true blue fans of the original content. Beyond jealous of your collection , there is always something you have set up that makes my jaw drop ... AND you have most priced and sealed with that grade sitting there taunting me to have my stuff priced and sealed lol. Wish I had everything I ever collected but when I was younger I was so hungry for more comics I would trade in comics to get more. This process had things like complete first run of Spawn and many other things leaving my collection. It would cost me a literal fortune to try and replace everything I have had and sold over the years :( I still collect a bit , but now it is mostly to create a inheritance for my kids that appreciates in the only thing I really understand the business of lol Comics and Toys.
Keep up great work and keep having fun with it . :)
In the processing of getting the spawn issues, almost filled the first 100 at this point, but the back issues from 130-200 are so expansive due to the print runs now.
Funnily enough, I’m not a fan of slabs and grading. Just have some of the really significant issues for protection and sentimental value, other than that, the single issues are unslabbed for reading by pleasure.
Glad you’re still collecting a bit, comics and toys always bring joy
