Omg Elanor Burns is probably my favorite quilter besides my grandmother. My grandmother taught me how to crochet and quilt making. We have made many quilts together growing up as a kid. She passed away I think I was 15 but I watched Elanor on PBS also and I learned many things from her that my grandmother didn't get the chance to.
Love your channel Tiffany I just wish I had a fabric stash haha. I tend to only buy for the project I'm making haha.
That's smart though to buy for the project. Keeps your space more tidy. I'm glad to hear your grandma taught you. It probably brings back good memories each time you make a quilt.

It does 😊. I honestly didn't know until about a month ago that their was such a thing called a quilt guild haha. I found one today in Hudson Ohio. Funny thing is it's about a mile away from the Joann Fabrics I shop from haha. But I also don't have any quilters or sewers in my area.
I'm sure you have some in your area. Cool think about the group on Facebook and here on YT in live chats is you'll find some near you. And if you join a guild you'll make many quilter friends 😉

I finished two in this pattern and as a way to slightly enlarge it I’ve ordered a piece of fabric to add a nice 6” border. It should complete it to about 60 + ISH, nice for a throw size. I’m hoping it looks nice and doesn’t take away from your beautiful pattern. Happy sewing!
I added 2 borders to this as well. It looks great with borders and came out 64x64 I think 🤔

I absolutely love your weave it quilt. I finally was able to make it. But, it is way too small for my purposes. Adding to the outside totally hides your awesome design. I think I will make it again upsizing it from the inside. Thank you so much for your videos. I pray you have a great new year with good health.

Hey Tiffany wanted to thank you for your weave pattern. I had a orphan block challenge and decided to incorporate it into your weave pattern. I had 5.5 inch blocks that were 4 patch. I did your pattern with the 5.5 inch 4 patch blocks as the middle 36 blocks. Not sure if I can send you a picture of it. It turned out nice.

I watched all this through and started watching the original too. Thank you. My question is, on this pattern, how do I plan for an actual Queen bed size in actual fabric? Noy “charm packs”. They seem to be quite expensive in packs by comparison. Thank you.
Well you would decide if you wanna do 10" squares and make a big version same manner with this one. But use 10" squares so it gets bigger faster. Then decide on colors you want and then go for it. If you do 5" I would start with a 20 square x 20 square center or bigger. Then do the borders (the weave it part) the same way. You could even go around 2 times. I kinda left this pattern up to the people making it with size. It's all the same manner in construction but sizes can be changed.
