You forgot the most important things. The Cutest thing ever you cant hold on when they want something, the fact they will always steal your sit or bed when you move a tiny bit, the "i dont want to come inside" face, the hate of rain, the love of dirty wather, the sneakyness and incredible mind how they steal food when you just look away for seconds and dont tell them to stay away, and the magic the send to other people when you walk around with this dog (cuteness overload, "good guys/girls", oh my goooooooood",...). All of that Cucumber things of the personalitys are missing^^ Yeah i love my little Aussie girl and all things that make her herself. And dont forget, they are Cucumbers.
Yes! Please! You could point out that Shelties bark a lot (as in: *Constantly*) because they hate being compared to Collies. And they do resemble Collies, only Shetland Sheepdogs are Smaller. Add something about Shelties & the Napoleonic Complex, and you've got it!

There is terrier, corgi, and a bunch of others in there. My little tri-color guy, hardly ever barked, except when playing. But the herding and crazy 'sheltie spin' (especially when playing with that dog in the mirror) were epic.
Our first family pet was a Sheltie. A color dilute my parents named "Mouse". We got her when I was a baby, so I don't remember much about her younger years. My Mom said she took her to the park once, and threw a stick for her to fetch. Mouse...ran circles around the stick and barked at it 🙄 She really was very smart. She just couldn't overcome her programming to herd instead of retrieve.
Well, he’s from Canada, to him Australia is on the other side of the world. Any country we have to fly to that can take 10 to 18 hours in one plane ride, is on the other side of the world.
I grew up with an aussie, he was so protective, clever, and playful. I loved taking him on hikes. He'd always get a work out because he'd run circles around the family when we went on walks.
lol We have 3 big dogs (Husky) (husky-Pitt) and (French Mastiff) and 3 little dogs. 2 Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies) and a jack Russel - Chihuahua. We also have 2 black cats and a really fat calico cat. It's a zoo here, but these skits are not only hilarious but also very accurate.

Mu first dog and childhood soulmate was an Australian Shepherd/Labrador mix. The most intelligent, loving, and athletic dog I've ever known. She outran rabbits at the Ranch, saved my life from rattlesnakes hiding in the grass, kept the tempermental cattle away while allowing the sweethearts close enough for pets/milking, and became a service dog to ky grandmother when i moved in with her. She alerted to my grandpa's heart issues and my grandma's diabetes, kept me grounded during panic attacks, and knew every family member and friend's name who frequented the house. Gran could have her "fetch" any family member just by telling Misty "Go get *name*!" Best. Dog. Ever.
Australian shepherds are so beautiful. I didn't know much about the breed until I met one. I was coming out of my local gorcery store and some other customer had left the dog outside while shopping. The dog gave me a soft short bark (like saying hi dude) and I went closer and started "chatting" with the dog. The dog was so excited she started tapping the other front foot like the fastest drummer ever and looked like she just met the most exciting nice friend to play with. I didn't know the "owner" looked at us behind and he commented he has never seen his dog behaving like that so jolly. I told him for his comfort that I often have got that effect on some dogs not all of them. I guess some dogs choose their people not the other way around. Dog breeds which absolutely love me are australian shepherds, border collies, jack/parson russels, huskies and samoyedis, corgies, finnish lapphund and mixed sherman shepherds (not full sherman shepherds for some reason) . Do you think dogs can sense some people person is adhd like me? I believe those breeds get really bored and apathetic like myself without "proper" communication. Also they get down if they don't get soft tones and are not getting enough rest.
I have a mini Aussie and he really good at the herding part even though we never trained him to do that and he is a house dog but he so good at it that he is able to herd my other dogs and still able to even when he is 11 years old
My girl and the aussies at work are anxious from their instinct to watch and control things around them, very picky eaters (aussie bowl flip is a regular thing), but overall very sweet, obedient and empathetic. Lily knows the emotions of everyone around her even when we don't. Also includes other animals. Think the empathy contributes both to the anxiety and willingness to obey. It makes them more attached to one person and good at their jobs. Amazing dogs, but not for everyone. They can be just as chaotic and vocal as any husky. And they are scary smart
My dog is part Australian shepard, part lab. His litter was a plethora of colors. When we saw him at the adoption event, he was with two of his sisters. One of his sisters was all tan like a yellow lab, the other had the classic Australian shepard colors. We like to say his mothers printer exploded when he was being made because he’s all black except for his front feet, the tips of his toes and the very tip of his tail which are all white as snow.
While I already knew Australian Shepherds were named after Australian Miners who came over during the gold rush. We still love them in this country and claim them.

I love Australian shepherds
My dog is part Australian shepard, part lab. His litter was a plethora of colors. When we saw him at the adoption event, he was with two of his sisters. One of his sisters was all tan like a yellow lab, the other had the classic Australian shepard colors. We like to say his mothers printer exploded when he was being made because he’s all black except for his front feet, the tips of his toes and the very tip of his tail which are all white as snow.
One of the best yet!
While I already knew Australian Shepherds were named after Australian Miners who came over during the gold rush.
We still love them in this country and claim them.
