St. Pete woman fights housing crisis by reporting illegal short-term rentals in her free time

After a long day of work, most people unwind at home, maybe watch some TV and get to some house chores. For Marley Price, she spends an hour or two a day searching for illegal short-term rentals to report to code compliance.
Depending on where you live, each city has its own short-term rental policy. Despite the city of St. Petersburg being a vacation destination, the city has a relatively strict short-term rental code ordinance.

do you really think this is helping the housing "crisis"? its not. if you report the short term umm then the house can just sit empty? airbnb if being used directly leads to less empty vacation houses, not more. are you going to seize everyone's vacation homes now because you need them to solve your puzzle of modern economics? this weird reporting system is just some local HOA mumbo jumbo w someone trying to get into everyone else's business.
