Damn, I love this song. Coheed's slow songs are possibly better than their faster ones. IRO-Bot, Wake Up, Subtraction, I love 'em all. Sentry the Defiant was beautiful acoustic too. F*ck it, I just love this band.

Yes, all of their songs are background information for the storyline that the songs are based on. The original name for the story was the Bag.On.Line adventures, however it has now come to be known as the armory wars. There are several comic books out (same names as the album) and also several graphic novels. All the stories were written by Claudio Sanchez (the band's frontman.) Basically, the story will make all the songs make a lot more sense.

Coheed & Cambria do this on all their albums, Acoustic Hidden Tracks. The one on Good Apollo IV Vol. 1 is called Bron-Yr-Aur and it is some of the most amazing banjo playing I've ever heard, and it's only a minute long. I hope someday they do a full album of this stuff.
YOTBR leaked and i've already listened to it. They're DEFINATELY going in the direction they were meant to go in. Their true influences show in this album ..like Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy

I like how it has a similar melody to "Favor house" at some parts without getting too hectic or pop-like, maybe this is where they got that melody though.
I wonder what the Black Rainbow will be like considering the change in music between the albums. If it will go back to this, or continue the way it was in the last album, or if it will go off in its own direction.

@xxUnrealAcexx I was in the same boat as you when I first heard these guys when the album first came out lol. It's no relation to that movie at all, in fact the song relates to the story in that this is the end of the second stage turbine blade story where it illustrates the losses suffered by Jesse "The Prize(Prise) Fighter Inferno" or just "Inferno" and how he feels and decides not to give up the fight against the stories villains, I guess.
Another song I must learn before I die.....

Yeah they also made it distorted, and replaced the high-pitched chirping with something a little more pleasurable to the ears.

If you have the original version its the hidden track at the end of God Send Conspirator. If you have the remastered version its the hidden track on the Everything Evil Demo

alot of their songs i have came upon in the past NEVEr make sense to me, the lyrics, the titles the albums never make sense to me, but wen i listen to them, its like a wierd feeling that washes over me,i feel different after listening to some of their music as if i can relate to some of their songs. idk y, anyone have any ideas? thanks :)

i would have liked YOTBR to be more along the lines of SSTB or IKSSE:3 to be honest. While the new album is certainly growing on me, I feel that the story is lost on me and it lacks the raw emotion that the earlier albums were able to convey if you ask me. Just an opinion

because every version ive seen has had either a similar thing to this or the exact replica of it
21:13 is pretty much Claudio Killgannon having a nightmare about the events of TSSTB in the concept. From what i can underatand this song is about Claudio coming to terms with his family's deaths as he and his uncle are the only IRO bots left.
