I must have listened to this song at least 200 times by now, and I'm still not the least bit tired of it. Unbelievable work. Eargasm and mindgasm every damn time.
Can’t listen to this without tearing up now... I really love it and I’m thriled and terrified that a piece of art has influenced me like this. I feel like I’ll be able to experience the worst of my teenage years when I hear this, even if I stumble across it at 80. This album saved me but simultaneously sent me down the pipe of my insecurities, doubts and failures. As the song gets more upbeat it’s more tolerable for me, but those opening chords and the words are forever printed on my soul. If I start this song I have to listen to it all the way through so I don’t fall down the pipe of insecurities, failures and shitty people’s thoughts of me that once were important.
Man this song just reminds me of a time when I'm a kid and everything is so free and fresh back then, and you don't even understand what anyone else says, and don't even care what they say, you're just happy, now I can't say that, back then I could.
i got lucky and got to see cohhed with glassjax and others such as blood brothers, american nightmare back in early 2000's in oakland, pittsburgh baby, was a great show
The acoustic version of Willing Well II: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness, just search for it on here. There's one for The Suffering, Al The Killer and Faint of Hearts too, they were early demos.
I believe he asked if there are any Italian [CoCa] fans out there and to respond if there are... There are coheed fans from everywhere friend. Just ask around Italy, if you even live there. Good luck my Italian friend!
I remember back in the day, we used to only have to watch respectable American eagle ads, and not that insufferable "little saint Nick" shit at the beginning AND end of each song.... And here it comes again. (Plugs ears)
ive loved coheed and cambria for years and finally found a website you can read the comics. i feel like im getting the full experience by first listening to the songs not knowing the comic book side and now reading the comics. Best fucking band ever
Best bassline in any coheed song ever, with the one in Feathers coming in second. Despite some unfortunate aspects of his character, Todd was a fuckin sick bassist
@MrEpicPants Isnt that what selling out is though? lol..I love heed, theyve been my favorite band for lord knows how long, and for a damn good reason, the music they make is amazing :D the new albums great imo, people just cant seem to get over claudios voice not being the same as it was before, but tbh,i kinda like the direction theyve headed now(not more than theyre old sound of course, but when youve heard heed as much as i have, anything new by them is just pure gold xD)
On the normal Album version yes, I think. But that would be including the IRO-Bot hidden track I posted seperately (or am I wrong? Fuck, I have no clue...)
naw thats the album version of junesong provision *i think*. "This is my boomstick!" has the slower IRO-bot at the end, which is heard again in earth: 3 but faster
@IAmTheWar people think they sold out because they started playing music that is more mainstream-sounding instead of their original style like they had on SSTB. not because they made an album for the sake of making money
all thats true, but, the VERY ending sequence, the last phrase you hear,is the ring in return, see, what im ASSUMING,is this the last song on sstb is Godsend Conspirator, the ending of which is instrumental piano, and the last "riff" is identical to the first song on the next album...im guessing its like,to connect the two together? idk xD but the end of this is all original, except at 6:14,thats when it becomes the ring in return
@Apocol0id I don't think that's the case. Claudio said he did a lot of experimenting with the new album, taking some roots from PFI. Besides that, Atticus Ross, whom produced a few Tool albums, produced YOTBR, and he left a lot up to the band. I think it's just more a natural direction they've taken over the years. I just don't see them as being Mainstream.
album is the best one they ever did. But this album is timeless, and a true showcase of their song writing ability...the other ablums attempt to sound more epic than they really are and pale in comparison to this work of art
CameraKill44 is lucky -.- i seen Coheed and Cambria at a concert in atlanta georgia a few years back along with Avenged Sevenfold was a good concert to bad coheed opened it so they didnt get to play as many songs as i woulda liked =(
@2hard21 Yup,Mic Todd ^^ fuckin beast...this songs got insanely great bass...my personal favorite to play and listen to is probably hearshot kid disaster's bassline...its AMAZING
Man I used to listen to these guys in my late teens and early 20s. Now I'm 30 and they are fuckin better than ever. Brings back memories man.
I must have listened to this song at least 200 times by now, and I'm still not the least bit tired of it. Unbelievable work. Eargasm and mindgasm every damn time.
Justin agreed
"When eye meets eye be calm". Can't get enough of this right now.
"YOUR DREAMS CAN'T LAST FOREVER!"
Real good feeling from that line.
What is this in reference to? I love some Mae songs.

Just realized I made almost the exact comment 4 months ago. Jesus fucking Christ.
17 more years could go by and this album would still be ahead of its time.
Man this song just reminds me of a time when I'm a kid and everything is so free and fresh back then, and you don't even understand what anyone else says, and don't even care what they say, you're just happy, now I can't say that, back then I could.
This music means so much to me.
fancy seeing you here
haha you as well my brother.
I think the verse of this song is stunning. The guitar, rhythm and vocal lines are like perfect alternative pop. One of my fav C&C songs for sure.
burn my hands till I got nothing left to count my numbers on.....
jesus christ....so good.
That line is ass.
This is definitely the original pressing, it sounds so much better than the re-issue. The instruments sound so perfectly and crisply mixed.
that piano ditty at the end... it will always get me...
That's the beauty of it, the meaning of the song and the feelings that it puts across are complete opposites
Willing Well II is without a doubt one of my favourite songs, I couldn't possibly choose now hahah the acoustic version is amazing
God I love that detuned piano at the very ending..
Even after all these years, his voice STILL amazes me EVERY time I listen to it!!
"When Eye! Meets Eye! Be Calm...
We'll Lie,Here Alone!"
that line has so much emotion....it truly is beautiful
my all time favorite Coheed album
Aw. There was a space between the last word and the period.
Imperfection.
God, this is one of the VERY FEW songs that actually moves me deeply & emotionally...
i got lucky and got to see cohhed with glassjax and others such as blood brothers, american nightmare back in early 2000's in oakland, pittsburgh baby, was a great show
I just came to say that I love this song...
the various stylistic transitions powerfully develop the storyline
1 of my fav coheed and cambria songs. Love the beginning.
The acoustic version of Willing Well II: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness, just search for it on here. There's one for The Suffering, Al The Killer and Faint of Hearts too, they were early demos.
Goddam. It’s just one of the absolute best intros and outros to anything. I can’t get enough of that subtle background vocal chorus at the end
the best coheed song ever........agree??
I believe he asked if there are any Italian [CoCa] fans out there and to respond if there are... There are coheed fans from everywhere friend. Just ask around Italy, if you even live there. Good luck my Italian friend!
This is probably my favorite song by them ever. Just so good. The "When eye meets eye" part is just fucking amazing.
One of my all time favorite Co & Ca songs.
having the lyrics is so helpful, i think i understand this song now. thanks man
This is definitely my favorite song of this album!

feels good to know that josh is back with us
oh god, I always come back to this and Elf Tower New Mexico for some good feelings.
wow, i remember back in the day I was able to listen to this song without prefacing it with an american eagle advertisement.
I remember back in the day, we used to only have to watch respectable American eagle ads, and not that insufferable "little saint Nick" shit at the beginning AND end of each song.... And here it comes again. (Plugs ears)
:O After reading the comic.... I get ''Locked the children in the floor.'' .... God its dark.
yes
3:54 perfect example of why i love coheed
Your dreams can't last forever.
This is such a powerful song.
This is my all time favorite song.
I going to see them at the Tabernacle. Right after the release of their second album XD
Can't wait to see them at bonaroo!!
Like how the color kicks in with the drums and bass
This is my second, awesome song...Devil Jersey city Rocks!
EPIC Bassline! Love this song...
Def one of my favs too. Listening to this album whilst doing an assignment, which distracts me cos I start to sing along with it all the time >.
ive loved coheed and cambria for years and finally found a website you can read the comics. i feel like im getting the full experience by first listening to the songs not knowing the comic book side and now reading the comics. Best fucking band ever
@CoheedAtThe930 I know right. Imma chekc them out at rams head in Baltimore. I cant wait.
i love how theres not a song on SSTB where the bass is inaudible :O
its very refreshing, and it makes for good learning for us bassists :D
ooph i got tickets JUST A FEW DAYS AGO for coheed in starland AGAIN!!! :DD!!
I love Elf Tower New Mexico, great song.
Yeah, I love this song.
It used to be my favorite, but recently Neverender and 33 have taken its place.
@2hard21 Mic Todd, he is a SUPER good bassist, he used to play guitar but picked up bass when he joined the band.
Best bassline in any coheed song ever, with the one in Feathers coming in second. Despite some unfortunate aspects of his character, Todd was a fuckin sick bassist
I'll be there!
Yup, same here. One of my favorite Songs of them.
@ViralJuggernaut i know right and its that diversity of sound that makes it hard for people to label them. Its just really great music nuff said .
Someone im hangout with just compared this to a disney tv show background music.
What drugs were they on
Sounds like you just lost a friend.
"When eye, meets eye, be calm..."
Claudio Sanchez - Coheed and Cambria..

@MrEpicPants Isnt that what selling out is though? lol..I love heed, theyve been my favorite band for lord knows how long, and for a damn good reason, the music they make is amazing :D the new albums great imo, people just cant seem to get over claudios voice not being the same as it was before, but tbh,i kinda like the direction theyve headed now(not more than theyre old sound of course, but when youve heard heed as much as i have, anything new by them is just pure gold xD)
i love this song and album.wise ass comments will cheer you up
The Ring in Return, or if you want to hear it violin style, Keeping the Blade.
this song sends goosebumps all over me. fucking amazing
cautiously avoiding the cracks not to disturb your steady arm straight
The saga needs to be made into a movie directed by Claudio starring his daughter.
It is about Claudio's resolve to grow and accept the tragedy of his family. He leaves everything he loves on a new chapter in life.
Omfg this song is so good
Si! Sono di Milazzo, Sicily.
this song owns
Thank you!
Your dreams can't last forever!

Pull the trigger and the nightmare stops

The worlds not big enough for the both of us. Dadadadada dada
album is the best one they ever did. But this album is timeless, and a true showcase of their song writing ability...the other ablums attempt to sound more epic than they really are and pale in comparison to this work of art
Robert Paulson is a character in Fight Club.
CameraKill44 is lucky -.- i seen Coheed and Cambria at a concert in atlanta georgia a few years back along with Avenged Sevenfold was a good concert to bad coheed opened it so they didnt get to play as many songs as i woulda liked =(
@2hard21
Yup,Mic Todd ^^ fuckin beast...this songs got insanely great bass...my personal favorite to play and listen to is probably hearshot kid disaster's bassline...its AMAZING
Claudio himself has called it something similar to bad and uninspired.
