There are two seasons in Tasmania. Winter and February. But once you get into southern waters you are never more than a few hours from safe anchorage, no matter what the weather throws at you. No cyclones, no crocs, no stingers, no sand flies, no mosquitoes. Fit a good diesel heater and you can sail all year round. You will often have the whole bay to yourself. But don’t tell too many people how good it is!
I just went hiking at Frecynet with my son camped at hazard bay. I will bring my Duncanson 299 down this way in a couple of weeks. love your work. Bonesy

I might run into you again one day. Maybe when you visit Iluka again. FYI - they started to demolish the old pub at Iluka and the new one will soon be under construction. Safe sailing..........

It might be made from shipping containers, but I'm not sure. Time will tell. I hope I run into you again. This time in Iluka maybe. I'm often up there visiting my parents. Great Kevin. I'll be back up there in a month or two. Will miss the old pub. It had lots of character....and asbestos.
