These products make SO much sense, coming from Nikki! ...I mean that they are a kind of hybrid between skincare and make up prep products. I wish her all the success with these!!
i love cassandra. love her honesty and knowledge. such a gem. i want her dr. dray and dr. vanita to combine forces and work on a skincare line together. lol
While I’m not in love with the products, the way she handled this is AMAZING. The genuine and authentic feel of “I actually give a shit about these products I made” versus the regular celebrity launch which is, like you said, them just slapping their face on already formulated products by a company and they had NOTHING to do with the formulation other than maybe adding a fragrance or random essential oil to make it “theirs”. This feels so real and true, and it makes me love her even more. The fact that she launched this herself with her own money too? Girl, YES 🙌🏻
I'm curious if the depuffer does something like what preparation H does to eye bags. It's an old TV MUA trick to firm up the skin. As far as I know nothing quite does that in makeup prep skincare...these are some specific niches.
What authentic he has done like that small fan. It’s used widely in china and cost like a dollar, interesting copying from chinese products and put their name on it selling it overpriced and people say wow very creative. We live in a world where the rich get richer and poor will get poorer and the comment section prove it how women wasting their money on celebs and influencers stuff while makeup and skincare products last for long time yet many fans will keep buying every celeb lunching something
Nikkie did briefly share how she was "burned" by the industry years ago. Early into her YT fame she collabed with TooFaced on a make up palette. They coerced her into accepting just 50 000 USD to use her name and pictures for marketing. They sent her make up samples of the collab products which were super high quality so she approved of them and then put awful cheap quality with different ingredients into the consumer palettes. And of course they put stuff into her contract which made it impossible for her to sue them or talk about it for years. It was Jeffrey Star who aired the dirty laundry when he was going after TooFaced for another thing they did to another influencer. Nikkie admitted that it was kinda her fault because she was too inexperienced to understand what she signed when she got the contract. TooFaced made MILLIONS with the collaboration products and Nikkie lost the trust of her community for a while because she couldn't legally talk about the scam until years later.
I love Nikkie and I'm excited for her but I'm confused why we don't get to see the products used on bare and filterless skin. The promotional video is full of models with already perfect skin and makeup on. How would we know the products work? Just believe her words on it? Edit: what I mean by this, since it's makeup prep and not skincare you would expect immediate results that make the makeup sit and look better on the face, just like a primer would do. Why not show us a comparison of how makeup looks with and without the products. If it's claimed it reduces red skin and hydrates dry patches why not show us that?
@@tiffinyhunter5901 it's not on her RUclips or Nimyas. But yes after some digging you can find it on the website you are right. However it's just 7 sec of her quickly putting it on. If I were a consumer I would love to see some close ups or a comparison of how makeup looks with and without her products.
🤦🏻♀️ and obviously this is why non of us have 10million + subscribers. Why would she show you all the products on one video when she could(and will) make you watch 1 whole video per each item later? Views is what makes the money, right?!…anyway I don’t like anything I saw so far…not spending a penny on that, sorry Nikki but good luck!
Hey! I love using cooling sticks when I have bad allergy symptoms! I think what Nikkie was referring to was that it helps relieve burning and dryness around the eye that’s associated with rubbing itchy eyes. I’m so unkind to my eyes during allergy seasons lol, the cooling sticks just help the skin around them feel a little better, with the help of my antihistamine eye drops!
Yaaaasss!!!! Preach! I use a few eye products that most people claim “is a simple formula “ “its over priced moisturizer “ “you don’t really need it” but it keeps me from rubbing my eyes! And that’s gotta be saving me from some few wrinkles at least 🤣 of course only medicine will remedy my allergies, but my allergies also make my skin, itchy, dryer, red, sometimes flaky and/or with micro abrasions… so while antihistamines treat me inside-out, I might use skin care to go outside-in and treat specific areas 😉 calming creams, skin repair creams, cooling creams… they all help, even without curing my allergies
Considering Nikki is a girl who battles the curse of redness/puffy face, she would have been the perfect before and after for her products so I'm a little suss she didn't give a demo.
I think she’s just waiting for others to do all that. That’s usually what companies do. They swatch and show a bit, but they leave it up for reviewers to do the detailed stuff.
She does on the brand website, and will likely do a demo video separately from the launch video. It's standard business practice to space out those kinds of things to build consumer interest!
She’s so technical and removed but extremely passionate at the same time when talking about things. Honestly we need more people with this type of attitude.
When Nikkie says that the cooling stick helps with hayfever, there is some partial truth to it and have tested this on my son. My son has a pretty bad pollen allergy and I found that if I put Vaseline around his eyes or nose , his eyes are not as irritated and he doesn’t sneeze as much. So what I think it does is that because the cream is sticky, a lot of the pollen sticks to the cream and doesn’t go into his eyes. True and tested! Hope that makes sense
Bless her I think Nikki has obviously tried very hard to do this right. I definitely see this as a makeup prep brand and not skincare. She seems to have been honest and it must be something scarie to put your self and your money out there with a new launch especially after being robbed at gunpoint! Thanks Cassandra! Xxx
Yea bless him for promoting more pollution with their useless brands we don’t need. We have enough good brands and fair price. Keep making the rich richer and stay poor
@@desertmoonlee6631 You mean her not him right? Surely you did because only a ignorant, selfish, inconsiderate, dense, and unpleasant person would call Nikki a guy. Also you have no right to attack her when she isn’t even the cause of pollution those companies you brought up are the problem. She is a small business and just like every other business she has the right to sell products. Don’t forget you also create pollution and support those companies who are really doing it.
James and Robert Welsh fans know that this is the second influencer line that combines make up and skin care - skin up! Honestly though this sounds really interesting and like maybe a transition step for people who are more into make up to get into skincare more if that makes sense?
I must admit, after using Skin Up, I will never use any other brand. It's unbelievable and James and Robert clearly put a lot of thought into the products
I think what the "I was burned before" part was about Two Faced and Ofra situations. Two Faced left her to the wayside with her payment of the collabe with her eyeshadow and made the product cheaper and I don't know what happened with the Ofra, but she had to drop the brand because they were being very problematic with how they handled heavy topics.
They really messed with her on that one. I believed she only received 50k while they made about 10 million? something crazy huge. Correct me if I'm wrong
@@carolinatorres7575 That sounds about right from what Nikki was explaining. I know it was really hard for her to talk about when she finally brought it up. I'm rather proud that NikkiTutorials did something she wanted to do on her own terms and picked products to produce that she had been looking for within Make up for a long time. She's also being more cautious with things compared to Jacklyn Hill at the beginning. So hopefully the success of this may give her more confidence that she can be a good business person and push out the toxicity out of the Make up world. (She was also a huge target of bulling within the Make up community by the catty mean girls.)
I've never seen or heard of her (I must live under a rock, right?) but you have to be impressed with how and what she's doing. She's dipping her toes in skin care that augments makeup. She's not claiming it's got all the skin essentials. Exceptional business plan. Hope she rocks it on her own!
I think that I know a pretty similar product to the Nimya's cream. It's a blue spf 50 from Nacomi (Polish brand). It's also a hybrid between a cream, primer and spf. Naomi's spf has similar texture but on top of that it protects you from the UV. I think you'd love this, I surely do, it's my fav spf and it's cheap!
@@giadatalisa8937 The brand's name is Nacomi, line Next Level and the name of the cream is Golden Rays City Spf 50. The whole line is awesome, with peptides, acids and more. You can easily buy them in Europe. Outside, I'm not sure :)
I wonder if the mica is ethically sourced... also I'm thinking that this line is probably aimed at people who do their makeup like Nikkie, and that's fine. Except I did not like that she said "if ever there was a time that you wanted to support me, show that you're rooting for me, this is that time" noooo people shouldn't buy the product to support YOU, they should buy because the product is good
It's very hard to determine if mica is ethically sourced, I know huge conglomerates are pushing for it but the thing is that mica in India from illegal mining activities get blended it with legal mining of mica. So you have no idea, even ethically sourced mica could have a mixture of mica collected from child labour in it. The only way around it is smaller initiatives on the ground that get you 100% ethically sourced mica.
This was my introduction to Nikkie...at first glance I wondered if she's quite my thing but I respect you immensely so I watched. I hold your opinion in very high regard and as I watched I became intrigued as well. So much so that I want it all. And I'm about to check out some of her tutorials. I'm 74 so you can see why have a less showy and glam style I just recently got into RUclips. I was very ill for a few years ( one thing after another ,in and out of hospital ICUs and nursing homes!) When I was finally fit to go home and pickup my life again,...well, I REALLY needed a re-boot in everything! I really love, admire and appreciate you and you style. There is no bs about you. If you are brutal or very direct, it's never from meanness of spirit or a holier-than-thou attitude! I respect your knowledge and appreciate that you are never pedantic. You are one of the RUclipsrs that I most respect and ENJOY!! Thanks for all the information and pleasure you've given me. Be well, be happy, be safe!
I think these products are completely on brand for her. They are luxurious and aesthetically pleasing. I personally wouldn't buy them, but I understand why she made them. I'm sure her fan base and makeup enthusiasts would love these.
I feel like this is the bridge between actual Skincare and Make up. Like, you do your actual routine. Then this. and THEN your make up. I'm excited for her, cause she's considerate, smart and self aware when it comes to her work. The packaging looks stunning too.
Exactly! It’s definitely supposed to be a great base for your makeup. It’s not really supposed to treat any special concerns, and i love how transparent she was about everything; I’m actually super excited for her.
I think people are too harsh on her for reading the ingredients lists. I'd personally want that rather than just blabbering. At least she wants to make sure she doesn't say anything wrong.
I don't think it's a cash grab. Nikki has plenty of money. She also said In this video that she's doing it all on her own. Everything is a cash grab. When someone starts a business, its a cash grab. They aren't doing it for free. They are suppose to make money. Walmart is a cash grab, mcdonalds is a cash grab, they sale things for money. Lol I just don't understand why people think someone is doing something as a "cash grab" like its a bad thing.
Because we have enough good brands in the world and to much pollution already, those narcissistic celebs and influencers only care about themselves and making money we don’t need any of their shit. That small fan i can buy it like a dollar from china with tons of different colors and sizes
I get what you're saying, but "cash grab" doesn't mean you're just trying to earn money. Its about people who are willing to skip steps and advertise something they haven't put much effort into for easy money made off of people who trust them.
A good basic (and cheap) moisturizer can also be a good ''primer'' for your makeup. Anyone can find one. There are serums out there that give you the glow, but actually have beneficial ingredients for specific skin concerns in them. There are TONS of eyecreams out there that work well with concealer. So justifying this new brand by saying that it's more skin prep doesn't mesh with me. It's just marketing for IMO not so special skincare products. Interestingly, I think you were way easier on her than on Hyram. Of course, to each their own and I wish Nikki all the best with her line, because it seems she really put a lot of effort in it.
I agree VERY strongly. I really don't think this made all that much sense or was all that necessary. And to be perfectly honest, if she was this hell bent on the products standing on their own, she wouldn't have launched them with her name attached to them - if she truly believed in the fact that the products were needed, unique and strong. There would have been ways to test the waters without risking all her money with that, too. I'm not buying it.
err thats not true? it may seem like just any moisturiser can be a good primer but that's definitely not true. and cassandra is actually qualified to talk about this; hyram isnt
Nikkie has mentioned a lot that her mother works in the skincare industry, not sure if she's a full on derm, but skincare is a big part of their family. This line actually isn't a shock to me and it's great she's making skincare that looks geared toward her general audience. With that said, I'm probably not gonna try this line, but it looks beautiful.
@@bouncecat beauty salons in europe definitely arent snake oil. But you are right thay you dont really need as much education, I wonder if she owns it or she is also working in it, if she does work there, she might have studied a high school dedicated to this, but this only works in my country not sure how they have jt
It's good to see that She has put her own resources and it's definitely skin prep before make up application rather than skin care products . Shipping to 🇺🇸 price is about normal I think , we 🇪🇺 have to pay shipping cost when ordering from the 🇺🇸 . Also 🇪🇺 has much higher standards and protections for consumers . She could of got shipping cheaper but let's say this 🇺🇸 delivery companies don't have the best reputation .
So her video popped up in my recommendations and I thought, "oh that's sweet she coming out with her own make-up brand", I mean she slays her face. Never would I have thought that she would jump on the "skincare" train but good for her taking her time and putting up her own money. The name is beautiful!
That Paris Hilton face wash showed in the video is actually good. It always clears these little bumps I get on my face . I love it. I’m on my 3rd bottle. I’m a skincare junkie too. I use all high end and anything that has good ingredients
Out of all the makeup influencers, Nikkie is the one who you can expect honesty and genuine passion for what she creates. She wouldn’t release a product if didn’t work for her. She was probably her own testing guinea pig
Her mom is an estetician for years with her own salon, Nikki has several videos about skincare. However I don't think she studied this, she is a strong believer of good skincare, grew up with it via mama tutorials
I just discovered your channel and I love it! I’ve always wanted to sit down with a professional working in the skin care industry, to really break down what the back of a label really means. Thank you!
I'm team eye cream. I don't always like to use actives or heavier products on my face during the day, but I do like to target my eye area day and night. I just use a different product for my immediate under eye, 11s and outer corner towards my temple. I don't always use eye specific cream, just a different type of product. I mostly use the heavier expensive minis Im always getting as eye cream, like the Amore, SK-II etc. I have so many of them and they last forever as eye cream.
I'd never use anything except eye cream for my eyes! Anything else is far too heavy for the immediate eye area, and it makes my eyes sting. When I sold skincare I was taught that the skin on your immediate eye area was like tissue paper, and the skin on your face like regular paper. Heavy creams are no good for your eyes, plus I find my eyes get all puffy and swollen the next morning too!
Yes and no. Most huge cosmetics brands dont even produce themselves. There are huge third party manfucaturers that are badly known outside of cosmetics circles. So, any influencer could produce quality skincare if they chose the right lab and manufacturer.
@@divx1001 we don’t need any of their shit the world have enough good brands with to much pollution. She was honest though for the main part , I don't think she made any claims towards 'skin care' and it is mainly skin prep for makeup . I'm a Nivea for Men Gay Guy whom never wears make up so take my opinion with a pinch of sea salt 🧂 !
@@startertoit IDK about her prior videos but what she was showing and saying it is skin prep for make up . 4 products - primer , setting spray etcetera
@@a1bc0p7o5t Why ? I don't know their ethics and all I know about them is I think they're a German Company and their products work . Please enlighten me ........
Tbf, Nikki didn’t say the eye stick “fixes” hayfever... she specifically said it soothes hayfever eyes, by which she meant soothes eyes irritated by hayfever. I actually noticed the words she used were quite careful to not make medical claims, at least on the eye stick. (I haven’t watched the rest of video past that, before commenting.)
@@krishnapriyaparu well..she won't cuz it's not necessary... She loves k beauty products and has used quite a few effective ones... So what's the need.. a new skin care brand is the last thing we want
The blue oil reminds me of Glossier's Future Dew, which I enjoy in the winter for a pop of glow and additional moisture. Might have to give Nikkie's oil a try just because it seems similar and a bit more fun.
Cassandra, you’ve helped me improve my skin so much ❤️❤️❤️ your videos are my go-to as soon as I open the RUclips app. I really appreciate your non BS approach to skincare and I am so grateful for your ethical and compassionate approach ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
I don’t but make up from influencers neither, and back in the day it used to be perfumes which i also avoided like a plague. I only buy from already established companies. Fenty beauty has been my only exception ever!!!
@@dlilwon fenty is also just an overpriced brand by a celeb. Good quality brands don’t advertise. Brands using to much advertising you literally buying the marketing not the brand itself. Best products i have ever used don’t advertise and have no famous owner that’s why they are good. Celeb only care about being more rich and famous and many sheep follow that
We know exactly how Nikkie was burned before - when Too Faced released a makeup palette in collab with her and 1. sent her a good sample but started selling a low quality one 2. paid her close to nothing on this collab
I've never really watched her work before but she seemed so likable and enthusiastic! I hope this launch goes perfectly for her! Also the 23rd Is actually the first time I'm going to a dermatologist!😬 P.S Thank you so much Cassandra for all your educational and fun videos! You inspire me to learn more about skin.
Nikki is notoriously known for her overuse of filters (and I get it!). So, I will be interested to see whether her advertising will be on natural skin or overly filtered skin. I really hope she uses unfiltered, natural skin! Please Miss Tutorials, do the "right thing" 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤
Pointing out reality is not transphobic. However that has nothing to do with the product line. A man can be just as good a makeup artist as a woman. And I don't think he demands people call him she or her and he's not a man trying to take a sports scholarship off a working class girl or a male rapist trying to get into a female prison or female only spaces.
@@carmelmulroy6459 Nikki would have been living her truth as a woman forever lol. None of you guys would have known and all this discourse about her skills and sneaking into prisons is just ridiculous lol
its definitely not skincare but im glad its not , i have enough skincare but makeup prep is difficult trying to find the right products that work with multiple makeup formulas and gives the end result we all want is difficult , so good on her , ill wait for some reviews and might give it a try . my only issue would be with so many ppl getting into skincare some people have alot of compromised skin through vit a and acids i just hope we dont have any reactions to any ingredients but its a personal thing as to if you do . i think getting the matte and glow setting spray will help with everyone's personal finish choice but with some sales and money in the bank plus the confidence that comes with both them things , hopefully theyll be on there way
As someone who understands ingredients and loves my makeup , I am really excited for this and definitely want to try it out. I love her authenticity but a GRWM and using them might have been a good idea for her. Besides that I feel it’s more a makeup prep than active skincare and that’s ok with me! Hoping to purchase on the 23rd!!!
Thank you, Cassandra! This was a proper professional analysis of products! Have seen a few (Jen Luv for ex.), but nobody could explain it like you did. I'm waiting unpatiently for purchasing these "goodies" and at least now I know it's NOT skincare but makeup prep. Thanks a lot again and enjoy your weekend 👍✌️💜🍀💝
Unfortunately I think on first impressions it looks cheap/gimmicky and I’m not sure if I’d purchase but I’m up for learning more since I haven’t looked into it too much 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t understand the fragrance thing because if you want to help cater to fragrance sensitive people, there shouldn’t be any in it. Lastly I kind of feel you shouldn’t need to read your own ingredients lol I do appreciate that she’s putting her own money into it though!
oyasumi lots of people with sensitive skin wear makeup and want good products for makeup prep as well thats still suitable for their sensitive skin though
@@junkoenoshima420 but the main point is its still a make prep line targeted to normal skin people, and I believe neither nikki nor cassandra themselves had said that nimya is a skincare line dedicated to sensitive skin people, so.. check the facts first hun
oyasumi that’s the whole point though. the fact that these are products for makeup prep and not a skincare line targeted toward a specific skin concern like acne, redness, or hyperpigmentation, etc means many people with MULTIPLE different skin types and concerns are going to be using these products and they should be as all-encompassing as possible. people with normal skin that isn’t sensitive aren’t the only ones that wear makeup. for that reason her products should be able to appeal to as many skin types as possible and by including fragrance she’s completely ostracizing a group of people that are irritated by it.
@@junkoenoshima420... U do know fragrance are helped to ease our mind when using a product with that much actives do u? Plus would u like to put on a smelly ass serums every nite or risk a lil fragrance to help ur mind coop with the product. Fragrance isn't all bad, stop demonising fragrance.
I LOVE Nikkie💖I just can’t go out & buy a product because an influencer I subscribe to & admire launched it. The respect I have for her launching these products w/her own $$. That’s awesome 🤩
Love her. Girls been through some stuff and her sparkle has never dulled.. I rarely wear makeup so I'm not sure this is the line for me. Maybe I'll purchase the fan to support her.
I LOVE LOLAVIE!! Just because it has Jens name on it, don’t hate! It is great as a detangler!! It smells good too. I am happy with it especially at the price and with free shipping.
To me it honestly makes sense. Nikkie is very close to her mom and her mom has a beauty salon so I can imagine it would be nice to work on something like this.
Like Dr Dray said, they do this to (basically) get more money (bigger net worth). Hard pass for me…. I see nothing new here. Just expensive products to make money because she has a following. I just feel bad for the people that follow her and are going to buy this expecting something life changing. Also, the fact that she is trying to emotionally manipulate just feels wrong. Idk, getting Hyram vibes here, over hyped and emotionally manipulative. Nope, nope, nope.
Yooo thank you for calling the manipulation reminding her audience of her hardships while also wondering if the collection will sell out and then to have Cassandra call her authentic and honest and complaining of the filters on others and disregarding Nicki's like hmmm??
I have so much respect for her!!! I wish I could use these products. I don’t wear makes and my skin is super sensitive. Way to go Nikki❤️ It’s so freezing to hear someone sale a product and be honest! I feel the honestly!
I love that she covers mostly all new brands cause I do not have to waste my money n make my face and wallet sad and angry. You save me and me my wallet and that’s why you are my god mother ❤️❤️😂😂. YOU ARE THE QUEEN OF EVERYTHING!!!! SO……..HAIL QUEEN CASSANDRA 👑👸
I liked her launch, the one thing I noticed isn't taught too much is preparing skin for makeup. We teach a lot a night routine or a removal routine but most times we skip prepping it, and by the time we are taught about skincare in general, our skin has taken a beating. Especially us men, I'm a more masculine man and barely gotten into skin care about 4 years ago when I was 26. I also learned about light coverage makeup that men use.
One point I am stuck at is why nikkie did not use her own products in this video? She sat there with full make up on and she did not even bother to rub any of her on back of her hand to show how it wears and feels. This behaviour is in direct contrast with eyeshadow pallets and highlighters she had created.
randomly, thank you for the info about dermographia! Both a family member and an old friend have this happen on their skin - and I don't think they knew what it is or what it's called. I am gonna tell them! Always learning something from your channel.
The products are absolutely uninteresting to me, I mean the fan is cute and all but honestly a sheet of paper does the same job 😅 nice video, cassandra 🤗
I wouldn't say she has the highest integrity in life in general, she lied about being trans for years and didn't tell her fiance until after they were engaged when she was threatened with blackmail. No-one should be outed, but no-one should mislead their sexual or romantic partner about their sex, either.
Nikki kinda shared her story of being burned by too faced I think, after Jeffree Star talked about our in his series with Shane Dawson where they talked about the beauty community, the series where they did conspiracy
Hello Cassandra. I love all your videos been binge watching them for weeks. I have had horrible dry and spot prone skin for a long time. Since watching your videos I have learnt so much. I have start feel confident in myself again in part thanks to you. You have made a big impact on my life, thank you. Keep being the beautiful person you are.
I know who Nikkie is but I don't watch her. Only saw her here and there when I used to occasionally watch James Charles (now I don't). Not that interested in makeup you see. Anyways, I checked Nimya's website and the thing I like most is how there are concise instructions on how to throw away each part of the product's packaging. As someone who tends to get confused if I should throw the top in the general waste or put it for the plastic recycling, I really appreciated the tiny detail. The moisturizer seems fun and I'd be down to try it if I could buy it and I personally wish the best for Nikkie's brand. Speaking of which, Mad About Skin's had launched his skincare products. I'd like to see a review on those.
Hi Cassandra I’m so excited I caught a live video lol hey girl!! You’ve helped me immensely I can’t thank you enough!! I always look products up via your recs and turn and learn before I buy anything!!
@Owi Owi I have never met another nutritionist or dietician that is so judgemental of people they don't even see as clients or know even a smidge about.... I eat the healthiest I've ever eaten and haven't worn makeup in years.
@Owi Owi Veganism is the best for the environment and the animals but there is no evidence that it is a cure for Hashimoto. Many people have it and it affects them greatly, so it is extremely insensitive to say that. It’s an illness that can’t be blamed on the individuals diet.
I’ve seen a few Nikkie videos and I enjoy the content but this…I will buy something from this line just to support the vision behind it. It seems so genuine! 💜🖤
I looove how happy and excited nikkie is for her own skincare brand! U just FEEL in her voice ane her expressions how excited, happy and proud she is. I wish that all her products will become very successful. Nikkie is a bomb, so her skincare brand needa to become one too
I am happy for Nikki to have her own brand and with her own money (!! Brave step), but she acted like she saw the products for the first time (but maybe due to her excitement) and not knowing/reading off a paper, what key ingredients do for the skin, let's me question her deep involvement in the makeup/skincare line. I like the unique chrome blue astetic, though.
I thought the same at first, but I much prefer someone making sure you’re getting the correct info about the right ingredient on an international launch video than winging it and trying to backtrack like J Hill.
It's really interesting how different perspectives can be, I was much more comfortable with her reading it out rather than just saying it because it means whatever information she's saying has mostly likely been verified by actual experts rather than someone who's more of a hobbyist
@@chelseacd That‘s what I was thinking. I probably would have to read infos of my own products aswell. Just not to get anything wrong out of excitement 😅
feels like the kind of skincare thats specific to making makeuplook good. for example, using certain serums and oils that make my skin feel good, but makeup slips on top is a struggle. this seems like less skincare and more makeup prep skincare and i might be sold on it not gonna lie. as long as its advertised as such.
The vibe I get is that this line is authentic and isn't just another celebrity skincare line. If it was just a cash grab she wouldn't have put her own money in it and would have partnered with investors. But she didn't because it didn't feel right for her and that shows that shows her intuitiveness. That takes guts because it's a BIG risk. Also it seems a lot of thought went into the products and the design packaging to create unique and useful products. I'm interested in purchasing (especially that gorgeous serum!) but like with all skincare launches, I like to wait until others have tried them so I can check the reviews first.
I'm actually interested on buying that pockets size fan, I struggle with sweating while putting my makeup on, it's so annoying. I agree, this is more like a prep skin line than skincare, I'll wait for the non sponsored reviews.
I thought I was the only one who had that red scratch problem 😭 dermatographia. Thank you for letting me know it’s actually a thing, and I’m not just crazy
Honestly, I love the UD setting spray so much but it's so pricey for basically water, alcohol and glue. If Nikki's is good I'm definitely going to try it out because if anyone knows how to make their makeup last it's Nikki.
I think it’s interesting! Not sure anyone else has a line that is just makeup prep. Something new and different, that as far as I know, no one else is offering. Wish the price point were a bit lower, but I bet that packaging is not cheap. Good luck Nikkie! ❤️
I love Nikkie - she's always so crazy cheerful no matter what and don't we all need that in our lives right now? I'm intrigued by the line and definitely want to try it. The cream/primer and serum seems to me like she's looking to dupe the Charlotte's Magic stuff and a skincare line to support makeup more than a true skincare line. I'm most interested in the cooling stick - I have the pink Tula one and it's wonderful when I've got allergy eyes. It's not something I use every day (I too don't fall for the eye cream scam and happily slap products all over my face). I'll likely pick up the lot and give it a go and hopefully I find a new HG. I'm already loving the price point of her products
To me looks like she was more involved in the package design than the actual contents in them. Well knowing people on the interwebs they will buy it in droves and she will make her money. So all will be well 🤞🏾🤧
Nikkie has shared before that she was burned by Too Face. At least that’s what I thought she was talking about. I have been with her since she had 500 subscribers and I am sooo excited for her. Nikkie is the Queen 👑❤️
I learned about dermatographia not too long ago. My dad and I seem to have this skin condition, and honestly I thought that this was normal and that everyone had it. Wrong. I'll barely ever so lightly scratch my skin, then a few seconds later I'll have HUGE a s s welts in that area.
These products make SO much sense, coming from Nikki! ...I mean that they are a kind of hybrid between skincare and make up prep products. I wish her all the success with these!!
Hello 👋 how are you doing
i love cassandra. love her honesty and knowledge. such a gem. i want her dr. dray and dr. vanita to combine forces and work on a skincare line together. lol
I wish she actually showed a demo of the product on her face
I agree
Yeah same
everything is on her website. She tries everything
It will be heavily filtered. So no point! 🤷🏻♀️
She does a bit more on the brand’s RUclips page
No brand can be a good match for every single human being in the entire world. This is why we have so many brands.
This :)
Yeah that’s true
Yup 100%%%%%
In addition, not every skincare brand actually cares about people's skin. It's all about money sometimes
I used to watch her videos .
that's basically how she does her "March favourites or whatever"
its like a salesperson lmao
Or you could go to her youtube channel or the product website and see videos of her using it on a bare face....
For this we have cassandra😍
Yeah, i thought so
Yooo I should use this. I have eye drops but I need stuff other than drops to relieve my itchy eyes. Thanks for this unintentional tip!!!
@@melancholicpeaceencapsulated i was talking about the elderflower eye gel from the bodyshop btw... really helps with the itchiness

Xxx

James and Robert Welsh fans know that this is the second influencer line that combines make up and skin care - skin up!

I think that I know a pretty similar product to the Nimya's cream. It's a blue spf 50 from Nacomi (Polish brand). It's also a hybrid between a cream, primer and spf. I wonder if the mica is ethically sourced... also I'm thinking that this line is probably aimed at people who do their makeup like Nikkie, and that's fine. Except I did not like that she said "if ever there was a time that you wanted to support me, show that you're rooting for me, this is that time" noooo people shouldn't buy the product to support YOU, they should buy because the product is good
absolutely agree with everything... when i saw mica first what came to my mind was hmmm dont think it is ethically sourced ( because of the price)
me too what the hell is mica doing in skincare? no thanks

Yeah, the skincare community can almost act cultish with how much they drag people down cause they forgot sunscreen or something
Lol
I just don't understand why people think someone is doing something as a "cash grab" like its a bad thing.
Right!!!
agree
Nothing’s necessary, nothing new needs to come out. This is just her spin on products, just like every company out there is doing.
err thats not true? it may seem like just any moisturiser can be a good primer but that's definitely not true. and cassandra is actually qualified to talk about this; hyram isnt
Do you have any recs regarding the serums and eye creams?
Sometimes I just use my sunscreen as primer
Nikkie has mentioned a lot that her mother works in the skincare industry, not sure if she's a full on derm, but skincare is a big part of their family.

True
Yooo thank you for calling the manipulation reminding her audience of her hardships while also wondering if the collection will sell out and then to have Cassandra call her authentic and honest and complaining of the filters on others and disregarding Nicki's like hmmm??
Hyram however is selling actual skin care. Her more about makeup skin prep or items what works with your make-up
I have so much respect for her!!! I wish I could use these products. I don’t wear makes and my skin is super sensitive. Way to go Nikki❤️
It’s so freezing to hear someone sale a product and be honest!
Nicking has some of the highest integrity in the industry - and in life in general. She's the real deal through and through. ❤
I wouldn't say she has the highest integrity in life in general, she lied about being trans for years and didn't tell her fiance until after they were engaged when she was threatened with blackmail. No-one should be outed, but no-one should mislead their sexual or romantic partner about their sex, either.
@@cleoldbagtraallsorts3380 Ooof. I didn't know that. In that case, I hope she's growing and learning.
Nikki kinda shared her story of being burned by too faced I think, after Jeffree Star talked about our in his series with Shane Dawson where they talked about the beauty community, the series where they did conspiracy
That’s what I was thinking indeed
That was years ago time to let go of that cross 🤣
I've had erythema/dermatographia for as long as I can remember but have only just learned the word you put to it thanks to you. Wow.
Hi Cassandra I’m so excited I caught a live video lol hey girl!! You’ve helped me immensely I can’t thank you enough!! I always look products up via your recs and turn and learn before I buy anything!!
@Owi Owi I have been eating vegan for a year and have psoriasis..actively...while eating vegan....
@Owi Owi why are you being so randomly judgemental?
@Owi Owi you sound unhinged, i hope you know that nobody read that deranged thesis you wasted your time writing. log off and take your meds beloved.
I’ve seen a few Nikkie videos and I enjoy the content but this…I will buy something from this line just to support the vision behind it. It seems so genuine! 💜🖤
Just found out I have dermatographia through this video 😂😂 love this channel
I love how you not just jump in the products, but give everything.
I looove how happy and excited nikkie is for her own skincare brand! U just FEEL in her voice ane her expressions how excited, happy and proud she is. I wish that all her products will become very successful. Nikkie is a bomb, so her skincare brand needa to become one too
Man she is a doctor and she says facts !! You say something and there she is telling you her 4th class lecture !! DONT MESS WITH THIS WOMAN !!!
Just not to get anything wrong out of excitement 😅
i like that it seems she made products to help a skin type she has experience with (dry, flaky) instead of trying to make something for everyone.
feels like the kind of skincare thats specific to making makeuplook good. for example, using certain serums and oils that make my skin feel good, but makeup slips on top is a struggle. this seems like less skincare and more makeup prep skincare and i might be sold on it not gonna lie. as long as its advertised as such.
What i love about Nikki is she is honest
Nikki does seem pretty genuine.
I thought I was the only one who had that red scratch problem 😭 dermatographia. Thank you for letting me know it’s actually a thing, and I’m not just crazy
I love how excited she is 😍
Nikki literally is such a marketing queen like I would hire her if I would have a brand
Your facial expressions were legendary in this reaction lol.
Your curly hair is very beautiful! ♥
I don't watch her channel but she always seems so nice
