What model meter base did you get? I live in Shelby NC just down the road from you. Having a hard time finding any combo panels in stock that is MEG approved for Duke power.
Milbank 200 amp 1 gang ringless overhead/underground meter socket model #R7040-xl-tg-hsp. If I remember correctly that model number doesn’t match exactly with the Duke document online for approved models but it does work and they hooked it up no questions asked.
@@ncbarndobuild That seems to be the same thing my electrician contact said. Said he did one just a week or so ago and he just uses whatever combo panel he can find. I ordered a Leviton online. We’ll see what happens. Thanks for the response. Keep the videos coming.
@@ncbarndobuild Looks like your making progress. You might want to think about a 200a meter socket load center on the outside of the house. If you decide to run 220v outside anyplace it is a lot easier when the panel is outside. IE pool, hottub, out buildings. Just a thought. I'm in Davie County.

Electrical inspector didn't tell you to put your ground wire in the meter can and you need 2 ground rods 6 feet apart?
