@@tommykevans3 Exactly. Casting BEFORE Stunts??? I maintain: No to any Cast/Ensemble/Casting category at the Oscars, lest voters use them as an excuse to not have to award a film’s individual performances or the film for Best Picture. Way too indirect a craft, especially when it’s the director who still makes the final call regarding principal roles-with whom the director spends the most time on set-and it's still on the actors to give good performances. Now, you can argue that the director also makes final calls regarding other crafts. True, but in all those other crafts, you actually see/hear those crafts on the screen. Even in acting, it's the actor choosing to give THAT performance, not the casting director discovering that actor and then recommending that actor to the director to give that performance. Casting directors might play a large INDIRECT influence in the filmmaking process, but they have no direct influence. It's impossible to claim that the good performances actors gave happened (partly) because of the casting director. Keep those at the SAG+Artios Awards.
I’m fucking excited about the winner. It’s actually for you, the viewer! You want me to sit there like a rock? I don’t have the energy to yell and jump around plus I need to be in the frame. Sometimes I don’t have anything to say the second I hear the winner and I want to keep hearing the audio so I clap and don’t talk over the stream.
@@mr.introvert6173 Common sense? LOL dude, clapping started in theaters to letthe actors on stage know that the spectators admire and enjoy their performance. Clapping when you are at home watching TV is like masturbation, you are doing it to yourself.
@@ktom5262 not like start mastubating when announcing best picture 🤣🤣lol. Their favourite actor or picture win the award makes them happy, no matter at theatre or at home watching live telecast. That makes you confused means thats your problem, not theirs 🤭
Fellow Poor Things lover ❤
So refreshing seeing eccentric films get awarded
10:34 the "casting" award goes to the casting director, not the cast, it's a totally different thing.
Bruh I know. Are they gonna give it to the casting director that cast the biggest ensemble or found an unknown star???

Why is he clapping? For who? Those people cannot hear and see you. I don't understand people clapping at home.
