Your hair looks amazing. You should get the aphogee 2 step protein treatment just to make sure your hair stays strong and doesn’t get breakage. It helps retain length too. My hair is a little past waist length and my hair is natural. I’m considering getting this
Thank you so much! I've actually tried that when I was relaxed! But later I discovered my hair actually hates protein though :/ the only protein I do is spritz with aloe vera juice every now and then, because my hair will fight me if I do more than that lol Wow! I bet your hair is soooo beautiful *-* You're at my goal length!
Love the vid. What is your daily hair maintenance process with the Japanese hair straightening? Do you have to flat iron daily? Also, how to take care of it?
Thank you very much! :D Daily hair maintenance was super simple: 1. put my hair in a bun to sleep at night and release it in the morning and brush through with a paddle brush. 2. Wash my hair twice a week with shampoo and conditioner. Once a week I'd deep condition. 3. After washing, moisturize with a light leave-in conditioner and liscio crystal serum. That's pretty much all I did! No flat ironing needed :)
It's a permanent treatment, so you just touch up your roots when you're ready! You don't have to natural per say. But the treatment can't be applied over your relaxed hair, you have to transition to it. If you'd like to try it, I'd say don't relax for a good 5-6 months and just do the straight perm on your new growth! And thank you so much! :D
Do you think your hair has thinned out at all after the touch up? I'm considering getting this done in a year or so and was wondering if you experienced any thinning (due to possible overlap).
My hair didn't have thinning or much breakage until earlier this year when I stretched my touch up waaay too long (due to salon closures with Covid) :/ just keep an eye on when your hair likes to have its touch ups!
If you don’t want bone straight hair, I suggest a relaxer instead of a JSP. Your hair is bone straight with the JSP even after air drying your hair. 🥲 I would only suggest the JSP if you want bone straight hair. My hair in this video is only air dried.

So how long does this last?
And do you have to be natural to get one? Looks really pretty, I love straight hair. tfs God bless you 💜🙏

What if you don't want bone straight but just want a blow out look? Do you think only blowdrying and not flat ironing will achieve that look?

What was the strength of the perm
Beautiful honey
thank you so much! :D
Can your hair still hold curls if wanted to do a curly style with tools like rollers, curling iron or perm rods?
Yes it can! Mine tends to not last all day, it lasts maybe half/most of the day.
I'm sure if I used some hair spray it'd hold better.
