    All I can say is 'AWE' with the music, the waves crashing, and the sound of thunder, awe, relaxing; the painting is beautiful.

Fantastic painting and so fascinating to watch how you brought it to life along with the sea sounds and strings in the back ground. I am going to try my hand and use your methods and techniques very soon in my 2nd ever oil painting :-) thanks for the video

    I usually have no plans from the start and build it up as I go ,,,i dont think or plan the foreground of the painting until i get there .
    I have developed this little knack of looking at and using what is going on in the painting as I work it .Takes a bit of practice but it will come .;0)

  • @alankingwell
    @alankingwell  11 лет назад

    Hi Mate ,,
    If the paint is too thick when i start the painting I thin it with Liquin to help it spread,,,but dont add too much at this stage as it will not blend too well ,,just add a little medium to make it move better.
    I use liquin in all other stages of the painting .
    Hope this helps.;0)
