I feel like your Air Jordan 1 x Virgil Abloh is just priceless. The best story about obtaining your sneakers and having Virgil himself sign your sneakers is just amazing especially now that Mr. Abloh is no longer with us. To mean those pair or Jordan 1s are worth the most in any collection.

Ive worked in insurance for a long time now both personally and commercially. And am seriously considering rolling out a collections coverage specifically for things like our sneakers, and just collections in general. So its nice to see that offered thru UNBOXED. You hear too much about deals gone sour, or something happening to your shoes, or these trash "sneaker meetup" fake vids. And for how much it would actually cost to insure im surprised this stuff is not promoted more.

This Sneaker collection would pay for a significant chunk of a house. It will be interesting to revisit this video ten years from now to see what Sneaker prices are versus house prices. I’m guessing house prices will be higher and sneaker prices will have tanked.

@@aidanlikesshoes6892 Have a look around - house prices in Australia UK Canada and US have surged higher in the last two years and sneaker resell prices are flat. Ebay is flooded with Sneakers. Maybe sneakerheads need to understand what happens to prices when supply vastly outstrips demand.

I have a pair of 2014 AJ1 OG Pandas, 2018 AJ1 Bred Toes and AJ1 OG Shadows. the pandas and shadows have been worn once whereas the bred toes none at all. They have been stored in my cabinet with cool room temperature away from sunlight since then till now, will they likely crumble if I start wearing them out today? Thinking if I should sell them or stand the risk of putting them on my feet to see them crumble...
They don’t have a mid sole so it will be impossible for them to crumble

Do you use sole protectors for rare shoes? I have 2 pairs I want to use so badly but they shot up to 2-3 grand and I’ll never sell them but don’t want to abuse them

Some of these prices are quite inaccurate given the condition of the shoes involved lol. Still, this is an awesome video. I've always appreciated Seth's transparency.
I used to think that shoes were all cheap and were just used to walk around and get from A to B, but WOW. These Jordan's are extremely aesthetically pleasing and VERY high quality. I would have never thought!
