❤️ Hey everyone! I got a lot of comments saying this video is not beginner enough, so CHECK OUT my newest video on How To Get Splits For Beginners & The Inflexible ruclips.net/video/e4gewupWjPk/видео.html ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Hope you all like it!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ok when I was trying to get my splits I’d wish someone told me this. If you stretch you WILL get there !! Just do it and once you get there it feels so freaking good !! You can do this ((;
Joanne Lazo by nothing do you mean you haven’t gotten your splits or you haven’t gotten more flexible? Because getting your splits won’t happen in four months but if absolutely nothing is changing and you are challenging your body in these stretches then you should see a doctor?
I wanna practice this everyday. Day 1: oh man that’s hard. My legs form like a right angle. Day 2: It’s not getting easier but I’m getting stronger. Remember you want to impress them one day, you can do it Nour. Day 3: I can honestly feel a slight difference wow! Day 4: I could feel my heart beating from my knee. I could feel that I’m getting better. The butterfly position becomes so easy at the end. Day 5: I’ve missed practicing this day. Day 6: I can feel a slight difference in the split. Day 7: I’ve missed it as I was travelling outside London. Day 8: ahh seems like a long way. Day 9: I could feel a slight difference. Also you sound like a youtuber her channel is called “With love Leena”. Day 10: I literally screamed when I tried the split I want it to happen. Day 11 + 12 +13 :I’ve missed it because I was busy and I’m sorry ---------- From now on I’ll only update once a week. Week 1: 01/08/2020 : like I could feel a slight difference especially when doing the split. Wow Week 2: 08/08/2020 : I didn’t get the split yet but these exercises have increased my legs flexibility, sometimes I feel I’m flying while walking. I feel more confident. Week 3: 15/08/2020 : I could feel that both of my legs are closer to the ground. Week 4: 22/08/2020 : whenever I start doing any of the moves in this video I just notice that my body goes down with no resistance, I’m also closer to the ground. Week 5: 29/08/2020 : it’s so wonderful how the butterfly position at the end becomes so easy and flexible. I’m still striving to get the split. Being physically fit increases your mood and vibration. I’m enjoying the journey Week 6: 12/09/2020 : at the start my hands could barely get to my feet at 9:36 but now they get pass them! Incredible Week 7: 19/09/2020 : my right side split is so close to the ground, plus I’ve managed to balance myself with putting my hands on the ground when doing both sides split! Week 8: 26/09/2020 : I’m 7cm away from the ground when doing the split. My body feels like a feather Week 9: 03/10/2020 : this process rn will take a bit more time to reach the ground Week 10: 10/10/2020 : Around 5cm from the ground. I told him today that I know how to do the splits so I need to really get it done before we meet Week 11 + 12 + 13: 07/11/2020 : I am on the ground now but I can only stay there for a couple of seconds. The tension is strong but I’m nearly there woah!
To all the people who are curious about the process: YESSSSSSS IT IS HARD BUT I have been following this tutorial for a while now and YES there are IMPROVEMENTS, i can touch my toes and my head can reach and touch my legs. When doing half split touching toes, i can also reach my toe and my head can also reach my legs. Although im currently not reaching my full splits, but i can see that I’m near to the ground than i was. So if you’re out there trying to do this, CONTINUE do not give up
Guys, I'm just here to motivate you. YOU CAN DO IT. I managed to do the splits in like 2 months and 12 days (with breaks 1nce or 2wice a week depending on how sore I was) on my left side. I didn't use this video but I'm just here to say that it is possible. With dedication and consistency and sudden surges of motivation (causing you to push yourself down further) you should be able to do it in less than 5 months. I'm 5'6 and 15 so maybe thats a factor but I was an athlete so I'm pretty sure that was a set back because my hips were less flexible and i have tighter muscles (or something like that) but anyways... YOU CAN DO IT, IF YOU TRY, (WITH FRIENDS LIKE TIMOTHY BY YOUR SIDE)
I'm really beginner it's my fiiiiirst Time evvveeeer to start doing splits it's my first day tho...will this help me...i did it right now...will this help
@@catherinekazmer6413 I couldn't touch my toes. And I did a lot of sports so my hips/muscles were really inflexible. But I followed multiple splits follow along routines so I didnt get board of constantly doing the same thing.
For anyone struggling make sure you're fully warmed up before stretching, cold muscles are more likely to tear than stretch. Do a good fifteen minutes work out at least before moving onto more advanced stretches, it'll make all the difference.
So, I'm probably as flexible like I can do a cartwheel, reach my toes when sitting down, with straight legs. So if you are as flexible as me then this will probably how long it will take you to get the splits, I also find that my left leg is better than my right leg. Day 1: I feel okay, a bit achey but not that bad, I can't get my head all the way down in a butterfly but I can touch my toes while sitting down in a sort of plank. Day 2: When I reached my toes in the sitting position, it hurt, a lot. I was trying to push myself as well. But now I feel stretched out! My right leg was hurting a lot (because it was my bad leg) But my left leg was okay! Day 3: I think I can get more further down in some of the stretches, but only a bit. I still can't get my head down in a butterfly, but I'm getting further! When I tried to do the splits, I was pretty far down, in my left leg! Day 4: I can nearly get my head down in butterfly! It's really hard but I can nearly do it! When I was doing the middle split stretch I couldn't feel a stretch...am I doing that stretch right? When I tried to do the splits in my right leg, I feel like it's a bit further down from last time! My left leg is doing great! Day 5: When sitting down in the plank position I felt more relaxed, this time! And, when I tried to do my right splits, I could see I have improved. I also tried my left splits and I have improved quite a bit!😁 Day 6: I can see I'm improving a lot in my right leg, and I am so pleased! My left leg is improving as well, but my right leg is nearly on it's way there to being as flexible as my left leg! In butterfly, I still can't get my head down, but it is getting further down! I'll keep on updating!
Im not flexible by any means but in my opinion this is the most laid back stretching routine for the splits. It’s very beginner friendly I appreciate it alot! ♥️
Jungkook's Daddy Periodt I mean, you could what I did was search up ppl who can do splits and see if I was ready, I’m not just yet but it definitely help to see when I’ll be ready 💪
On the third day i pushed my limits, and whenever i walk or sit my legs fell like they r being stabbed with a knife but eventually i got my split in a week so thank u💜💜
You probably pulled a muscle... Hence the sharp pain.... Be careful w pushing yourself too far bc it can lead to serious injuries.... Be sure to warm up alot BEFORE you stretch.... Like running in place or taking a walk around the neighborhood.... Basically a little cardio to warm up the muscles wake em up and say hey man let's get to work ☺️😂 I swear when muscles are warmed up they are easier to stretch..... Like w cheese for instance lol.... Stiff til it's warm
@@eccho1 wow i learned something new thank you i mever really new that but good thing you told us so thank you have a great say or night and stay safe :)
You shouldnt push the stretch if it starts feeling painful, its supposed to cause discomfort but not a huge amount of pain. Dont risk pulling a muscle or rupturing it.
😧 I almost did a full split!!! When she first said “now slide into a split” I was like wtf?? I came here bc I couldn’t do one BUT I tried and it legit felt so SMOOTH 🤗 @SofaBar you’re like a goddess 🙏
After almost 2 months of consistently doing this I can do the splits!!! omg I'm so happy, I still can only do the right leg in the front, but I was about as flexible as a rock. You can do this, I believe in you!!! I thought my big a** and thighs would never be able to do this, turns out I was wrong ❤️
I’m so happy for you!!! And so glad my video could help you get there 😍😍😍 Yes, even big booty girls like ourselves can do this, doesn’t matter what your body type is ❤️🥰🙏
@@MyFictionalChaos You’ll get there! You’ll maybe need to stay longer in some positions. Give it a try, but listen to your body if things get too intense! Sometimes it takes some a few weeks and others months, don’t worry about that! We all have different bodies 🥰🥰🥰
Personal Daily Check-In: [Don’t Mind Me] Day 1 of 30 - Clearly I am as ✨ inflexible as a cow ✨ ... I can’t touch my toes, I am unable to fully do any of these stretches, and each brought on a bit of pain. When attempting the splits, I am unable to straighten my legs on both sides and my torso remains about a foot off the ground. But I’m honestly looking forward to this. Day 2 of 30 - Pretty sore from yesterday, but I noticed that doing a morning yoga routine first (Yoga with Adrienne) helped me ease into it today. I will continue that. My left leg is clearly more sore. Not too much difference in the stretches from yesterday, but my hips do already feel a bit looser.
"if you have real trouble here, get a friend to push you down or someone around..." Me: *but I'm actually doing it secretly in my room* **Day 12 of doing this, come on guys!
@@tehyoshi9190 I feel you deeply. Even though being flexible isn't my strong point I want it to be more confident while I am forced to play different sports in school😫
@@vslsk8605 yes i have done half part and i am getting close. Although it used to pain a lot at beginning but now a lot better , but you should choose to have nice diet as well from my experience otherwise a lot of energy will be wasted stretching your body . Now i am really feeling proud 😊 to choose hardwork and result is going to be great .
@@ajina1947 I'm happy for you Every time I tell myself that I'm going to get into the splits And I get really close to the floor and then I somehow stop and dont feel motivated to do it until the end 😫😫😫😫
I’ve always wanted to get the splits, and have just started getting back into dance. I’m going to do this everyday and keep you all updated. Day 1: It hurt a lot, and the splits were very hard as I couldn’t keep my knees straight.
I'm as bendy as a wooden log lol, trynna do this now on. Will keep posting updates every week. Week2- It still hurts but I'm able to bear the pain now. It used to the whole day at the beginning but it only hurts during the stretches now. Also I'm able to touch my toes with my head in the butterfly pose now Week3- I'm able to touch my knees with my head. My body shivers so bad while holding but I'm finally able to touch my knees with my head Week4- almost touching my knees on evert exercise, not gotten the splits yet
Day 30 its been one month since I started this journey Im so glad I did . the improvements are very noticeable i might not have my splits yet.but im positive and this is just the beginning.Since this process might take a while i will start updating you guys per week I will tell you the process i make each week.😉💖
I started out like that too... I can see much improvement after 2 weeks... It'll be hard... You could use ice pack to soothe the muscles and get enough sleep for muscles to recover..7 hrs... But the feeling you get when you can perfect these is so awesome... The pain is worth it...
Don't get discouraged!! I can barely do any of these either, but the way to fix inflexibility is to stretch every day, so im sure if we take 10 minutes every day to do these then we will get there eventually! 😄
I can barely even reach forward because my gut is in the way LMFAOO. We can do this. I’ve been stretching for a week and a half and I can feel my body getting looser and healthier :) you can do it too!
So about 2 weeks ago I searched up how to get the splits, I wanted to try out for my dance competition team and you were required to have both splits. I was close on my left and not so far on my right. After doing the stretches once i saw a big difference in how far i could go. I made a promise to watch this video every day so i could get the splits. Now I'm on the team! Tysm this helped a lot!
Thanks so much for this video! I started out as not flexible at all (couldn’t touch my toes) and after doing your video a couple times per week I’m already so close to a split. Tip for others who started out inflexible like me: put the video on 0.75 speed when you do it so you hold the stretches for longer and go a bit deeper
Pro tip for those without a friend or doing it in their room out of embarrassment (like me 😭): For lunges, forward stretches, etc, place a rope, belt, thick string, etc around a sturdy bed leg or something. That helps me pull my self even further down
ive been doing this for only two days and i already have improved so much. i used to not be able to touch my heels or put my head on my knees while sitting, but now i can perfectly do it. This is a good workout. After I did the stretches, i was really sore the next day but it felt really good doing the stretches. Im so glad i found this. :D
From trying it for a few days, I have also realized how flexible I actually am! Though I can't do the splits yet I can do quite a lot of stretches which my legs and this motivates me. Thanks so much SofaBar Fitness! Hope everyone is manages to do it as well and don't over stress! xx
@@Sofabar @SofaBar Is it just me or you really have a mild scoliosis? The right side of your back looks slightly higher than the left when you bend over. That's why I ask.
@@Sofabar and do you have any issues because of it? Does it bother you or affect your activities in any way? Mine looks about the same and I am REALLY worried because of it. I want to exercise but I'm afraid. I hope you're doing fine with it.
random hero To be quite honest, I don’t even really feel it. Or I’m just so used to it, that I don’t even know about it. I only feel extreme tightness when I do backbend positions. I think it’s safe to say that exercising and stretching can be very beneficial for scoliosis. You need to strengthen the muscles in your spine and back. I would definitely make sure you have an a ok from your doctor though.
I get what you mean. When i had my legs open I couldn't touch the ground whit my face because off my back (I'm just guessing but I say this because I felt tension in my back but nothing in my legs) What I did was I got someone to push me down (of course without doing it rough) and I touched the ground for the first time whit my face in that position. When I did it again the next day I was capable to go a lot lower, 2 days later I was capable to toucht the ground whit my face on my own. I'm not saying you need to hurt you to do it. I'm just saying what helped me. Maybe you could try it? Just please be careful. I was a little too reclless and looking back that could have ended so wrong.
@@Sachi-zv7qq This is a Great idea!!! Also attaching a resistance band to something and pulling yourself down! But definitely take it easy and don’t be rough on your body ❤️❤️❤️
Hey:) I just wanted to let you know that your videos have been so helpful for me. (Especially during this COVID isolation) I cannot be on the ice, but your videos have given me something to strive for and look forward to in the mean time. Also, I may not say this correctly, but I appreciate your attitude towards exercise. I suffered with an eating disorder and compulsive movement, (I can't say I am in full recovery because they are still genetic tendencies after all and I always have to be aware) but I am doing well enough now to APPRECIATE your videos and they feel like a safe place for me to enjoy exercise and to focus more on the technique and beauty rather than the abuse of exercise. Thank you, you're a sweet heart! -Meg
I'm so happy to hear that my videos are helpful to you and you feel safe doing them! That really makes me super happy! I hope I can create more and better content like this for you and others to enjoy, thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Omg I'm so happy!!! For the first time in 26 years of my life i can touch my toes. Been doing this 4-5 times a week and definitely noticing the difference. IT CAN TAKE DAYS, MONTHS, YEARS. DONT GIVE UP !!
@@alexandersamuel7897 I’m glad you asked. I wasn’t that flexible in the beginning. Even before the pandemic, I would stretch before and after workouts. I’d say that it took me at least 5 years to get flexible. I just stretch every day.
I came here to learn how to do my splits for drill team (which I achieved) but this video has helped me in other ways. I’ve always been real tense and always felt like I need to pop my back every 5 seconds but after doing these stretches daily I feel great and don’t have any more pain. Crazy how all I needed were a few good stretches to help me throughout my day so thank you.
I just wanna drop by and say thank you. I've been using this video for around 2 months. For years now I've only been able to do left split, but thanks to this video, I can do both sides now! Thank you!!!
This will be my improvement chart I'm gonna update daily Day 1: it really hurts especially on the hips and my back but I think it will be very worthy and the butterfly it's the worst Day 2: i woke up earlier and my legs hurts a little but its fine and the butterfly is easier i can see the improvement but the back is the *worst* it hurts more than my hips but its fine Day 3: I can touch my legs now with my head and its less painful and I actually touch the ground when I try to split on the right side but it's not that straight and the left one is more paunful Day 4: the butterfly is now a comfortable position for me since it doesn't hurt that much but ths position 2:40 hurts really bad i hope it will be more comfy as time passed
At the beginning of this I couldn’t even get my head to touch my feet in the butterfly position. During the last butterfly stretch at the end, I could! Thank you! Can’t wait to see my progress!
Don't give up gus! I started these excercises in March and was super stiff, couldn't even reach my toes... now 9 months later I still can't do the split but this takes time since I was this inflexible buuut hold on! :) Good news is, I can reach my toes, almost can lay down on my legs doing these exercises and still have like 18cm to go to reach the split, which is ahuge success for me. I know that for some of you it is easier and you might be able to do the split in 9 months but for people like me, who have really tense hips, it could take more than a yeat to do it but don't give up! 💕
I love this message! Thank you for sharing it 😍😍😍 And also for choosing my video, so proud of your progress already and wish you the best in getting that split 🙏❤️🥰
Day 1 of 160, I'm trying to better myself and feel better in my own body. I'm hoping to do this every morning. Not sure how I'm supposed to warm up first before doing this though. Any input is appreciated 😁
Love how this is TRULY a beginners video and you keep reminding us that it’s okay if you can’t stretch that much. Idk why but I just needs that constant reminder that it’s okay since I’m a beginner. I’ve been searching all over RUclips and this is the perfect video I’ll try to do consecutively ❤️❤️ thanks so muchhh we gettin flexible 🤪
Ok Day 1: pain mainly in my knees Day 2: a little less pain Day 3,4,5,6, and 7: I did some of the stretches but not manny because I don’t want to hurt myself Day 8: Let’s do this! I feel like I’m getting closer but idk. I feel like I could but my knees r holding me back so I’m gonna find some targeted stretch’s for my knees Day idk prolly sometime week 3/4: I have 5 inches to go and 4 weeks ago I was at 14 inches
@@Sofabar So I took a really long break. I ran into some other life issues and this just wasn’t my main priority. But I am back at it again and pretty close to where I left off!
OK so I was a gymnast when I was like five, and I quit when I was about seven, so I’m not flexible anymore but we’re going to see where it ends up. Day 1: going so far is pretty good still stretching, my hips do not wanna stretch so I’m gonna have to work on that stretch. Day 2: I can now put my knees to the ground in butterfly but my hips still need more stretching
I just starting doing this and I hope to one day get to the splits. At minimum, my ever persistent sciatica pain, that I have had since March, has been completely eliminated by following this routine. HUGE WIN!!!!
I was already pretty close to the splits but this really just helps a lot :)) I felt I was a few inches closer to the ground lol not just dangling in the air 😂 Edit: 9 months later, I can do the splits and I have been using this video since! Seriously this is a perfect video for me and I just never get tired of it. One thing I did that helped me (a seriously not flexible human at all) achieve flexibility was making stretching a habit. About a year ago I started taking a small amount of time out of my day (10 minutes) and stretching, nothing serious, just some basic movements. Its a habit now and sometimes throughout the day I'll just naturally stretch without even realizing it. 😂 what I'm saying I guess is keep going, cause it took me over a year to get my splits, everyone is different. KEEP IT UP 💜💜
Thanks! I've gotten so close on my left, or at least I feel... This video, hopefully will help me go all of the way down! Should I update?... Edit: I updated on the wrong video like an idiot. 🤦🏽♀️ But I'm almost at my left splits. Turns out I wasn't as close as I thought I was, but now, like 2 days- a week's worth of stretching once or twice a day could get me there!
I'll give my updates(。・ω・。)ノ♡ And yeah I'm flexible like a matchstick...T_T Day 1💫 Did every stretch.. But guess what! *my legs are wobbly like a JELO* But I still did it two times a day! Wish me luck Day2💫 WOAH i can't... OK try my best and did all the stretches....my legs are sore like *REALLY SORE* but Im able to touch my foot Day3💫 .did it the stretchs And i can't breathe- Day 4💫..feeling sore but I tried my best Day5💫.. ok but I'm halfway down only few inches left between my hips and ground!! Not did bc I have alot of homework..aaah these online classes🤧 Day15💫 omg!!! Almost there!!!!!! I can't believe- Abshsjajkakakyk!!!!
@Ahnya Williams yeah it was working nicely but i have been not doing streches so guess what I have to start doing streches but for me it took 2-3 months i really became flexible but no i am bit nit flexible i have to start doing again 😌
@Ahnya Williams yep it's been 2 months and I can do it, but you have to be consistent for achieving it. But if you stop it, you may loose your flexibility
I was built weirdly where I couldn't stretch far, I've been stretching for about 5 months now, and I can almost finally do splits! KEEP ON GOING GUYS! You can do it
I tried so many videos to help me get the splits , and they definitely made me far more flexible , and then j came a cross this video . It’s only been a few days and I’m already so close to doing the splits . Thx so much for this video
im on day 2 doing this and i'm so mad because i can open a perfect butterfly and touch my head on the ground however touching my toes feels like im being exorcized omg.. anyway im not giving up
Day 29 well its been almost a month since I started even though i dont have my splits yet im so much flexible that i was before. My hip doesnt hurt but im going to give it a break just to let it heal completely and be on the safe side. Anyways im close to the floor.and im very excited to see what will come💖
I got my splits as a teenager and through my twenties I could get them if I stretched really well for like a week. And then I turned 30.... I swear all my muscles tightened up. I'm 32 now and I am amazed by how stiff I have gotten since turning 30. I started doing ballet a few months ago and my posture and strength are steadily improving. I now feel like it's time to really work on my flexibility, and I want to get my splits back! This video really opened up my hips and I was able to get within about 6 inches which is the closest I've gotten in years!!! Thanks so much!
I'm 2 weeks in doing this once a day and my crotch is 3 inches from doing the splits!! I hold each stretch for 15 seconds pulsing and 15 seconds hold...i feel doing this allows time for my muscles to release. This is the best video tutorial that ive tried that got me close to splits in no time! Thank you!!
I’m around an inch off the ground on my right leg and 2-3 on my left leg. I’ve done these stretches before but I quit and now I’m staring to do them again. I’ve done them since Monday and I’ve already seen so much progress. I’ve tried other stretching routines but yours is the only one that has worked for me. Every time after doing this routine I get my splits and before stretching I’m closer than I’ve ever been. If anyone wants to get there spilts I recommend this. Wether your 1 foot or 1 inch off the ground it’s gonna work to get your splits and overall just improve your leg flexibility💜🖤
Okay YALL. I’m not going to be here and update u like an annoying person BUT i did it IN A LITERAL DAY, I thought I had to do it for a few weeks but OMG, watching this video and following it, was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.
I’ve been slowly getting close to doing a split (uhm, the past year), this exercise comes so much in handy! I love your videos, your voiceover is the best out there :) Thank you, take care :)

i started this a little over a month ago and i see major results. at the beginning i was really high up and now im almost all the way down ! thank you so much for this
I've been using this for the past two weeks. At first, I was so stiff every single position was impossible. Now I'm only a couple cm from a split on my left leg (right will follow suit hopefully...). You are so calming and have a gentle, kind energy. I love this video, thank you so much.
Feb 17 2022... I've been doing this video mostly every day since the end of Jan and I'm already seeing results. I can touch my toes, I'm way more flexible when walking, my calf muscles are looking more lean. Who knew just a few minutes of stretching a day could do this much good? 😘
I have no experience in gymnastics or dance, or anything, but I have made it a goal to get the splits and maybe leg extension. However, I have a question. When I go into the splits, or, as far into it as I can lol, I can't straighten my knees. Same for leg extension... its hard to keep my leg straight, whilst also stretching. Will these stretches help with that, or are there other videos I should add to my playlist when I do stretch? I feel like I'm soo close with my splits, and especially my straddle, if only I could straighten my knees.
Hey listen, dont force yourself ... keep stretching , and when u eventually start getting close to the ground ur legs will straighten themselves, so don't worry , I haven't got the splits myself and my knees are bent too ... so yeah
The knee crossovers damn near took me out, I felt & looked like the screaming tower of Pisa 😂😂!! That stretch pulled the most But great work out, I’m going to keep doing this every day before any workouts!!!
just a disclaimer!; if you feel like you might rip a muscle if you go any further down while doing the "slide into splits" or the lunge bit, please go a little higher or go a little more gentle on your muscles as you may be overstitching them, which does the opposite of helping you to the splits of any kind. thank you :)!
I’m gonna do this every day so I can get better!! Thank you so much!!! Before Video: 2-3 inches off ground. First Time: 2 inches (I will do the rest in the replies after every day until I can constantly get my split!! So excited!!
I’m a beginner in splits 🤷♂️ I’ve watched other videos but they don’t have the right order of importance Awesome tutorial 🎯👌👍 With right order of importance Butterfly & pigeon pose then straddle Flexing the hips nicely Forward stretch with pulsing and lunges forward for a split Made a note of this in sticky notes & stuck them on the walls for reference By the end of this year I’ll nail this Love this so much ❤️ Thank you so much 🤗
i’ve been using many different workouts and i really think this one is the best, i’ll keep you updated! Day one: super close, i guess i’m just really close because i’ve been trying many different workouts to get into splits, but i’m really glad i haven’t lost motivation! i’ll keep you updated!

Day 11 + 12 +13 :I’ve missed it because I was busy and I’m sorry
----------
From now on I’ll only update once a week.
Week 1: 01/08/2020 : like I could feel a slight difference especially when doing the split. Wow
Week 2: 08/08/2020 : I didn’t get the split yet but these exercises have increased my legs flexibility, sometimes I feel I’m flying while walking.
I’m enjoying the journey
Week 6: 12/09/2020 : at the start my hands could barely get to my feet at 9:36 but now they get pass them! Incredible
Week 7: 19/09/2020 : my right side split is so close to the ground, plus I’ve managed to balance myself with putting my hands on the ground when doing both sides split!
Week 8: 26/09/2020 : I’m 7cm away from the ground when doing the split. My body feels like a feather
Week 9: 03/10/2020 : this process rn will take a bit more time to reach the ground
Week 10: 10/10/2020 : Around 5cm from the ground. I told him today that I know how to do the splits so I need to really get it done before we meet
Week 11 + 12 + 13: 07/11/2020 : I am on the ground now but I can only stay there for a couple of seconds. The tension is strong but I’m nearly there woah!
Keep updating please ☺️❤️❤️

😳😳😳😳
To all the people who are curious about the process:
YESSSSSSS IT IS HARD BUT
I have been following this tutorial for a while now and YES there are IMPROVEMENTS, i can touch my toes and my head can reach and touch my legs.
YOU CAN DO IT, IF YOU TRY, (WITH FRIENDS LIKE TIMOTHY BY YOUR SIDE)
ty so much for motivating us i hope i can do splits soon :)
I'm really beginner it's my fiiiiirst Time evvveeeer to start doing splits it's my first day tho...will this help me...i did it right now...will this help

For anyone struggling make sure you're fully warmed up before stretching, cold muscles are more likely to tear than stretch. Do a good fifteen minutes work out at least before moving onto more advanced stretches, it'll make all the difference.
It's true 👍
Yes!! 100% 😌😌😌
like what workout? :(
@@rienn8559she has some workout videos for figure skaters you could do those before you start
It's hurts in I'm a lil cold but can it's still works cuz I was doin it's in yuh
I also tried my left splits and I have improved quite a bit!😁
Day 6: I can see I'm improving a lot in my right leg, and I am so pleased! My left leg is improving as well, but my right leg is nearly on it's way there to being as flexible as my left leg! In butterfly, I still can't get my head down, but it is getting further down! I'll keep on updating!
Aww thanks sm for this

You shouldnt push the stretch if it starts feeling painful, its supposed to cause discomfort but not a huge amount of pain. Dont risk pulling a muscle or rupturing it.

Personal Daily Check-In: [Don’t Mind Me]
Day 1 of 30 - Clearly I am as ✨ inflexible as a cow ✨ ...

Literally started crying because I could barely do any of these stretches. I must be THAT inflexible. :,(
I started out like that too...
Yeah, same. I was like that. But now, I'm so much closer to my left splits! Don't give up!

Just started stretching for splits this week! This timing is so perfect
Hope you like it! ❤️❤️❤️
Pro tip for those without a friend or doing it in their room out of embarrassment (like me 😭):
For lunges, forward stretches, etc, place a rope, belt, thick string, etc around a sturdy bed leg or something. That helps me pull my self even further down

My biggest issue is getting my face to the ground. No matter how spread my legs are I can’t get my head on the ground I guess because of my back?? Idk

This will be my improvement chart I'm gonna update daily
Day 1: it really hurts especially on the hips and my back but I think it will be very worthy and the butterfly it's the worst
Day 2: i woke up earlier and my legs hurts a little but its fine and the butterfly is easier i can see the improvement but the back is the *worst* it hurts more than my hips but its fine
Day 3: I can touch my legs now with my head and its less painful and I actually touch the ground when I try to split on the right side but it's not that straight and the left one is more paunful
Day 4: the butterfly is now a comfortable position for me since it doesn't hurt that much but ths position 2:40 hurts really bad i hope it will be more comfy as time passed

Hi guys!
Just some pointers that I forgot to mention in the video. Don't allow your knees to go pass your ankles when bending into the low lunge!

No actually I was here first and then I deleted the reply so it was meeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

@ Quotes for you I was I'm telling the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@QTwitthaBOOTY sure lier. If you deleted u would probably re write. And u want to get the attention.
I just starting doing this and I hope to one day get to the splits. At minimum, my ever persistent sciatica pain, that I have had since March, has been completely eliminated by following this routine. HUGE WIN!!!!
No way!! That's amazing to hear!! I'm really so happy to hear my video helped with your back pain, wow ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had been doing this routine for a while and today I almost did a full split...! @SofaBar Thank you so much...!!!🤩🤩😍🙏
Can u do a full split now?
@@bellaamazing4123 I was able to do a full split a few days after posting that comment... FYI I had been following other stretching routines too...
I was already pretty close to the splits but this really just helps a lot :)) I felt I was a few inches closer to the ground lol not just dangling in the air 😂
Edit: 9 months later, I can do the splits and I have been using this video since!
But I'm almost at my left splits. Turns out I wasn't as close as I thought I was, but now, like 2 days- a week's worth of stretching once or twice a day could get me there!
Definitely
@@fadwatadist3397 Okay.
@@fadwatadist3397 If I reach the goal, just know I was already close on my left splits, and that's what I'd be updating you on.
I'll give my updates(。・ω・。)ノ♡
And yeah I'm flexible like a matchstick...T_T
Day 1💫

Abshsjajkakakyk!!!!
U can do it I am starting doing these stretches for like 3 days ago and then I was able to touch the foot all the best btw 😊❤

You can do it
That's soooo amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I tried so many videos to help me get the splits , and they definitely made me far more flexible , and then j came a cross this video . It’s only been a few days and I’m already so close to doing the splits . Thx so much for this video
So happy my video helped you 💕🙏💕🙏
im on day 2 doing this and i'm so mad because i can open a perfect butterfly and touch my head on the ground however touching my toes feels like im being exorcized omg.. anyway im not giving up
Good! Don’t give up! You WILL get there!
Saaaaame
Did u do it?
I have the opposite problem!! So crazy how different all our bodies are! But you’ll get there! Just takes time ❤️❤️❤️
My sister is starting splits so I thought it would be good to do this. thank you for posting it
Day 29 well its been almost a month since I started even though i dont have my splits yet im so much flexible that i was before.
Thank you!!
That makes me sooooo super happy to hear! I am so glad my video helped you improve your splits, that makes my day!! 😊😊😊😊😊
This helped me so much and I could finally do the first excersize all the way to my head to my feet thank you so much
Yay that is amazing! So happy for you!!! Glad I could help 🥰🥰🥰
This has helped me so much I learned the splits in two days thank you for making this vid
That is amazing!! Congratulations 😍😍😍
Amazing! extremely useful and such relaxing workout
Glad you liked it! ❤️❤️❤️
Awww that really makes my day hearing this, really! ❤️❤️❤️
Trying this for a month
Started: October 13th
Day 1/oct 13: ✅ the stretches are really hard and I’m super far from my splits. (only did this vid 1 time today)
Day 2/oct 14:✅ the stretches are still really hard and I’m still far away from my splits. I heard my right hip pop or something around there it felt good 🙈
Day 3/oct 15:❌Skipped I got lazy🙈 I’ll just add an extra day to the month to make up for it
Day 4/oct 16:❌Skipped I got lazy🙈 I’ll just add an extra day to the month to make up for it
Day 5/oct 17:❌Skipped I got lazy🙈 I’ll just add an extra day to the month to make up for it
Day 6/oct 18:❌Skipped I got lazy🙈 I’ll just add an extra day to the month to make up for it
Day 7/oct 19:✅ there’s no improvement because I haven’t been consistent but my right hip keeps popping when I do the butterfly it feels good tho sooo💤🤡
Thank you this helped so much I litterly can do the splits properly now this was so helpful 🌈
i started this a little over a month ago and i see major results. at the beginning i was really high up and now im almost all the way down ! thank you so much for this
That's so amazing!! I love hearing this! ❤️❤️
I've been using this for the past two weeks. At first, I was so stiff every single position was impossible. Now I'm only a couple cm from a split on my left leg (right will follow suit hopefully...). You are so calming and have a gentle, kind energy. I love this video, thank you so much.
I already have my split but this made it more advanced
Yayyy ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you soo much for this routine I can’t
believe I did a full split 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
I'm so suuuuuper happy to hear that 😍❤️❤️❤️
My right leg: chillin B)
My left leg: OH OH THIS HUR- OHHHHHH STOP STOP WOOOOO OUCH
Hahaha 😂😂😂
Feb 17 2022... I've been doing this video mostly every day since the end of Jan and I'm already seeing results. I can touch my toes, I'm way more flexible when walking, my calf muscles are looking more lean. Who knew just a few minutes of stretching a day could do this much good? 😘
Really like this lady. She's so encouraging and understands that for a lot of us this takes time.
HAMSTRING FLEXIBILITY
Hey listen, dont force yourself ... keep stretching , and when u eventually start getting close to the ground ur legs will straighten themselves, so don't worry , I haven't got the splits myself and my knees are bent too ... so yeah
@@sano1307 yeah, now, I'm almost at my left splits! 🙌
@@sano1307 Thank you!
@@repent. awesome !!
I’m a beginner in splits 🤷♂️
I’ve watched other videos but they don’t have the right order of importance
Awesome tutorial 🎯👌👍
With right order of importance
Butterfly & pigeon pose then straddle
Flexing the hips nicely
Forward stretch with pulsing
and lunges forward for a split
Made a note of this in sticky notes & stuck them on the walls for reference
By the end of this year I’ll nail this
Love this so much ❤️
Thank you so much 🤗
im trying to do the 34+35 floor dancer routine and this really helped
I love this video and it makes me feel so happy
That makes me so happy to hear, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Day seven wow the stretches dont hurt as much now and im very close I can't wait to get my splits ❤❤
That makes me super happy to hear!! 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
i’ve been using many different workouts and i really think this one is the best, i’ll keep you updated!
Day one: super close, i guess i’m just really close because i’ve been trying many different workouts to get into splits, but i’m really glad i haven’t lost motivation! i’ll keep you updated!
