- ICYMI: Police officers found a child living in what they compared to a jail cell, along with trash and feces covering floors and walls, while responding to a Henderson home this week, according to an arrest report.
Police arrested Misty and Jeffery Scanlan on suspicion of child abuse/neglect after finding their home had "inhospitable living conditions."
According to an arrest report, a truancy officer checked on a child who had been absent from school for about a week. The truancy officer couldn't get an answer at the door, though they reported hearing a child screaming and a gate rattling inside.

I was thinking the same thing. Why are we not allowed to immediately send them away for a long fuckin time lol crazy how long they can make stuff take. And the fact that certain offenders can be let out of jail if they pay enough is wild.
What goes around comes around, now its your time in a jail cell.

I think we should see how the child or children do while they are away from these parents. My autistic son smears shit everywhere, it is a constant battle to keep things reasonable. Don't pass judgment until you see if the children thrive in a different environment.
