Nice capture of the airliner passing overhead! There is a flight path over my house and I almost thought it was passing over my home for a monent until I realized that was part of this recording! :p
That sound was on the MCTS Neoplan AN440 buses in 1986 numbers 3500-3571 our Orion V Buses numbers 3700-3816 had the Cummings Diesel they where retired in 2005
@markdm4805 I miss those Orions! They started coming off the streets in 2006/2007 with the arrival of the BRTs. There are a couple sittin at the Timpanogos garage, but doubt if they are ever on the streets for svc.
the sound of the 6v 92 Detroit diesel-powered engines can come from most buses Orion 05501 it's the same as the neoplanan440 that some of my family members rode in the 90s as septabuses I loving it anything but a Cummins diesel and caterpillar diesel engines
@Allen1628famm lol I actually didn't know since I don't know this system that well.. I actually thought it was like some kinda contracted bus or something lol
This is some premium fucking noise music

@ClassicTVMan1981X No the owners felt that they didn't need any buses at all for the airport shuttle route so they replace it for cutaways.

@jtizzle369 Yea me too they had just retired these Airport Orion Buses and replace then with cutaways.
@Kote12TK Sounds also like Older Gillig Phantoms from 1980s/early 90s models like 1993 Phantom of AC Transit (Now SF MUNI has them)
It was a newark airport bus but now retired. Sorry for the late reply.
@8v71buses Yeah tell me about it. The orions have been replace by cutaways.
@Kote12TK Yup this is located at Newark Airport. They have a few Orion that sound like this.
there's no way this is a 1998 Model with a DD92 engine and Allsion HT748 Its probably a 1991-1992 model
Pittsburgh Port Authority used to have these years ago.. My favorite sounding buses

@njt5329 O I thought I put 1992 WoW thanks for the heads up.
A 6V-92TA in an Orion V CNG AWESOME!!
@markdm4805 WoW that must be a good ride over there.
I would think the excessive screaming going on in the powertrain is a result of the bus approaching its retirement age, correct?
I remember my hometown Grand Rapids MI had these from 1991-92 model. 163-170 series.
it's newark just for the record
@busrailfan lol cool. They stop using these buses at the airport. Its just cutaways now.

@njt5329 lol well this was my first time riding it so I wouldn't tell you much about it.
