    I have a question about my upcoming citizenship interview. My spouse, who is a U.S. citizen, gained citizenship through her father's naturalization in 2001 when she was a minor. Although she doesn't have a naturalization certificate in her name, she has always used her father's when needed and holds a U.S. passport. Is the passport sufficient as proof of citizenship for my interview next month? She currently works as a pharmaceutical chemist with US FDA.

    Hi this video was really helpful. I have been in the USA in January 2020 and I received my SS and green card about a week later. I didn’t work that year (2020) thus I haven’t filed taxes for that year. However, I have filed taxes for 2021 and 2022. I have started the application for naturalization under the 3 years rule because my husband is a citizen but I don’t have 3 years tax transcripts because I had no income in 2020. What can I do to proceed with my application?

    Hi, I have a question. I am married to a US citizen in 2019, unfortunately Covid hits and I got my conditional GC in 2021. I am now in the midst of preparing for I-751 to remove the conditions on the GC. At the same time, I also wanted to know if I can submit my application for citizenship? I would appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

    • @AudraDoyleImmigrationLawyer
      @AudraDoyleImmigrationLawyer  Год назад

      Yes it is possible to do that. Some Field Offices will not adjudicate the I-751 and the N-400 at the same time, so be ready for that issue.

    I have a question my dad got his citizenship when i was a minor would I have already derived citizenship through him? And I’ve also Been married to my American citizen husband for 7 years and have been in the United States for over 30 plus years. Which route would be the less expensive and easier route to take? Thanks ❤

Me and my husband married last December 2019 and I got my 2 year green card last 2021 through my US citizen husband then I applied a ROC last March 15,2023 then receive my 4 years extension last April . Never been travel outside to the US since 2019 then next year I will be 5 years here but my plan is to apply a citizenship while waiting my 10 years gc or my ROC to be approved it’s been 8 months already but still in “my case is actively reviewed by them.

Should we start counting the 3 years since she became a permanent resident or since I became a US citizen? Thanks !

      There is a chart to use on the USCIS website to figure this out. You can also call for a consultation. Based on the trips you mentioned her it sounds like you have met the physical presence requirement and have not disrupted your continuous residence. Good luck!

      Check the date of your NJ Driver's license. Is it more than 3 months? Do you have a lease there for more than 3 months? Think about how you established your residency in NJ and when.

Due to Travel Restrictions /Flight Delays during Covid19 ( 2021-2022 ) in which I had to break my status of continuous stay in the US, Do I need to fulfill the condition of continuous stay OR is there a waiver due to the Pandemic? Please answer, Thank you.
