I saw him outside of LA for rhe first time in Sac about 4 years ago. (Saw the original refotmed Animals in LA in about 1975. They had an album out STOP.). He was about 80, when I saw him.he cooked!!!!! God I've loved Eric since the 70's. (I was teen then).
All right some of you younger people might not know this but every time he mentions a band the guitar player plays that band's sound. The animals were a great great band
1967 __ Monterey, California ( at the famous Monterey Jazz Festival). Now, in 2022 at age 81, Eric Burdon lives in nearby Ojai, California (near Santa Barbara). I mention this in one of my singing videos __ viewable on YOU TUBE: TOM KITCH "THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN" (THE ANIMALS / ERIC BURDON) published July 28, 2022.
Monterey Pop Festival was the American debut of both The Who and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, I believe... the next night The Who appeared on the Smothers Brothers show.
Actually i loved Eric Burden and the Animals even more than the Animals. I thought that Eric did some of his best songwriting when he became influenced by the psychedelic movement.
Wonderful was Monterrey..film preservation better than Woodstock..im told whole thing was better than Woodstock.., unfortunately at 12 in uk 🇬🇧 mum wouldn't let me go....hmmmm
Not every song about rock n roll is a success . This is one of the best .

I Love The Animals, Eric Burdon!
Amazing, this song says it all about the amazing 60s ❤
Yes! Indeed it does.
young people realize this is real music an endless lost classic!
Love his old music❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Eric Burdon ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great song, very clever lyrics from Eric, he mentioned so many things that went down in Monterey
I saw them in concert 4 times and every time at a small venue where I sat front stage. He sounded exactly like his record in person
Great video❤
Keith Relf left us too soon at age 33. Jeff Beck was a brilliant guitarist. May they both RIP 🙏

(THE ANIMALS / ERIC BURDON)
published July 28, 2022.
He lives in Greece now, with his third wife Mariana...
@@FR-ed4zyHe’ll be 83 on May 11, 2024! Quite an achievement for a rock star! I’ve loved his music since 1964! I’m only 2 years younger than him!
Eric Burdon the best voice of all time. 👏
❤️Eric Burdon
❤❤❤💋💋💋
When rock was young.
When rock was at it’s best!
Maybe the second best song by the new Animals, but San Franciscan Nights is a great one too.
Loved SF Nights! Loved the 60s!
My favorite is whichever one is playing at the time!
Cette chanson culte était une des favorites de José Arthur. Elle passait en 68 au Pop Club sur France Inter.
J'adore...
Disfrutando de este gran artista en el 2022👍❤️😍
Maravilloso... Simplemente grandes
Q bien canta y baila Erick Burdon , baila lindo oh Yeah !!!!!

Único gran artista de los que ya no hay
Y sigo en lo mismo, ÚNICO y será un icono de la música
Great footage and the song is sick.
I REMEMBER THIS SONG, IT WAS PLAYED EVERY RADIO STATION , I WAS IN YOUNGER HIGH SCHOOL. IN THOSE DAYS IT WASN'T MIDDLE SCHOOL AT ALL.
Their best lineup!
OTRA DE MIS BANDAS FAVORITAS DE MÍ ADOLESCENCIA AÑOS 60'S
And it was Eric Burden and the Animals
I dont know where the "new" came from. Great upload though. Glad its here all these years later for us to enjoy
that was just great! when the music played, it was real..
❤❤❤
Pienso que Burdon - Jagger - Van Morrison fueron la trilogia diferenciada del hard blues ingles - Animals - Stones - Them - very special people - !!!
So damn good.
Enorme, Erick
❤❤Summer of Love 1967 ❤❤
A 'live' version would have been good.
Right on!
- WhaT Magical Times...~☺🌌🎸
Monterey bad ass tune eric is the best puts it togther well 60s 70s 80s 90s 2000 u bet down in monterrey
Woodstalk was all fine and nice, but Monterey really started it all in 67.
I think its WOODSTOCK 😀
@@rhondarandall4500 One big muddy mess, no thanks.
Nobody was killed at Woodstock so Monterey started killing at concerts?
@@tonypassaretti There were deaths at Woodstock, but none at Monterey.
@@rhondarandall4500 That was intentional.
Cool 😎
Esto es música solo para conocedores del buen Rock🎉🎉
Exactamente
What a song!!!
Hermoso
Time is just a word...
Boss.
Obsessed
Hey we opened for Eric & Animals at The Terrace in Salt Lake in 68 and he disappeared on stage.
The new Animals had a couple good songs. But the original Animals were the best. I liked their keyboardist the best from the original band.
He was Manzarek before Manzarek.
Cool✌✌
Exelente
Yeah , I remember watching him and War on Rock Concert (remember Don Kirshner?) one night.
Monterey is BEAUTIFUL 😅😅😅
Monterey Pop Festival was the American debut of both The Who and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, I believe... the next night The Who appeared on the Smothers Brothers show.
At 3:20 you can see Eric starting the new dance craze "The Cheeta". However it did not catch on.
Всегда был эриком
Actually i loved Eric Burden and the Animals even more than the Animals. I thought that Eric did some of his best songwriting when he became influenced by the psychedelic movement.
Martha ,i,am born to MÉXICO AMericano.
they can’t all be nice nuggets
A pity that it is mimed and not played live . Great song though .
Groovy?
Burdon fue de los cantantes chingones de los increíbles Sesentas... Lo que nunca entenderé será porqué deshizo a Los reales Animals. Imperdonable.😢
🍷🍷🤩🍾🤩🍺✌️
Too bad it's not live.
RUclips is broken
The New Animals were much better musicians than the original Animals, though both groups had great material.
Eric can dance just not very well.
Será su estilo🤭🤭, pero ese vozarrón lo compensa todo😊😊
gd ahead of dr who ,wyatt erp trap,a grenade,ok ,think not vulcan shi, rare earth
Wonderful was Monterrey..film preservation better than Woodstock..im told whole thing was better than Woodstock.., unfortunately at 12 in uk 🇬🇧 mum wouldn't let me go....hmmmm
Oh no. Was this considered cool back then?
Por supuesto que si, eres hincha del horrible Bad Bunny seguro.
Great band, great song, Burdon without a doubt...but shitty playback!
The original Animals were MUCH better than this bland group. As much as I like his singing, that silly dance is really lame.
Fake Fake Fake.
Grow up Eric. Embarrassing.
Physc0delliKate. ROCK ON
