Oh yum! What absolutely stunning colour mixes! Incredibly interesting. I have always loved green gold, have been painting and teaching for more than 20 years and would not have thought of these mixes. So thank you very much for this video.

Oh wow, what a gorgeous fall palette this would be. Just stunning mixes that I would probably never thought to try!I came here because INCworks mentioned you, and I'm so glad she did! Lovely job. I see you aren't doing videos any more. Hope everything's ok, and that you are just taking time off for you. I will be binging your other videos in the meantime. 🎨

I can’t believe you actually made this video! You are such a kind soul! I really want to buy PY129. I’ve seen many mixes on the channels Painting in Hiding and Mind of Watercolor as well as on the Jackson’s Art blog (in their article about quinacridones) and the mixes are all so beautiful. The earth tones it creates are very vivid and greens are natural without being dull. It is a very versatile colour. I’m very glad that you mixed it with PV23 - which is the closest to a compliment as we can get; I wanted to see how they would mix together. Thanks so, so much for this video 🤗

Wow, I’m at this very moment using py129 ( W&N) in my painting. Though I love the hue, I’ve only ever used it on it’s own and to temper blues and greens, so this video literally made me put down my brush and watch in delight to see those gorgeous clear jewel tones emerge! I’m as lost for words as you are! To quote kids book author,Kevin Henkes….”Wow! And that is all she could think of to say-WOW!” :)

Aww wow that’s such a weird coincidence. Awww I’m so pleased that you enjoyed the video, I really enjoyed making it - I think it’s possibly my favourite video that I’ve done. I still can’t really articulate how I feel about them mixes other than, they’re amazing 🤣🤣🤣

I got the winser newton pro green gold..... it's became one of my favorite colors to use on its own and in mixes. A light wash gives you a bright yellow that has a glow to it almost. Then more concentrated it's great in landscapes and mixes

Wow, like the combination of PY129+PY168. I would try to mix my PY129 with my warm reds!

On Steve Mitchel’s Mind of Watercolour, he mixed PY129 with PY110. He said that it is very similar to a raw sienna. Not sure if that’s true. It would certainly make a more vivid raw sienna.

Your mixing discoveries are such a treat. My PY129 ('Azo Green') is from M. Graham. I'm with you - it's a fantastic color.

Great video; I've never tried mixing PY129 with reds; going to have to try it. I usually mix it with Indanthrene blue/PB60 and it makes a really nice glowy sap green, with a darker masstone than the ultramarine mixes.
