    That moment when Morocco has better high speed rail than the country that invented the railways....

    Morocco is getting impressive their infrastructure has improved dramatically and getting very close to European standards, it’s sad to realise UK Canada and America are somehow unable to build a proper high speed train. Well done Morocco keep going

    Are you listening, America? Africa will have TWO high speed railways soon.

    • @ABTrainsYT
      @ABTrainsYT 7 месяцев назад

      What about the UK?
      We have only one high speed line and that’s HS1 which goes from London to Ashford, Kent but does carry on toward the Channel Tunnel to France, Belgium and The Netherlands.
      HS2 is currently being built but because of ridiculously high costs it’s only going as far as Birmingham meaning if the trains were to carry on up north to likes of northern England, Scotland or Wales if the line to Holyhead, Ynys Môn gets electrified it would have to go via ‘classic’ lines.

      @@ABTrainsYT Yeah I have been following HS2 as well as American high speed rail projects. I have taken Eurostar multiple times and it's hard for me to say "at least you HAVE a high speed railway" because only a 109-kilometer segment is actually in the UK. It's almost like Amtrak Acela on the Northeast Corridor where it only travels "high speed" on certain segments.
      I was really hoping HS2 would travel to Liverpool but alas, I have no say in your country's political machinations.

    I hope that Morocco will be linked to Europe through a sea tunnel through Gibraltar, as well as that a high-speed railway line will be established with southern Morocco and linked to Mauritania all the way to Senegal. Morocco is developing rapidly and everyone is welcome in Morocco 🇲🇦

      @@-Osiris- The tunnel itself, and the Eurostar service is the least used by illegal immigrants. There are virtually none because there are controls. Why would it be any different for a Gibraltar tunnel?

    Two minutes late is considered on time in many countries, they don't collate figures below 3 minutes. Who would visit a Muslim country during Ramadan, if I can't eat a snack every 3 hours and have an Espresso or a Turkish minus sugar I start to feel feint. Taking food with one is not a good idea without a cool box, missing out on local cuisine is a shame.

      As mentioned below not all outlets are closed, particularly in the city centres there was certainly plenty to eat. As I mentioned in the video too, I am Muslim myself and was fasting during my visit. It is a great to experience the culture in Muslim countries during Ramadan!

      @tonys1636 7 месяцев назад

      @@OMtheRails One travels not only for the culture but the local cuisine as well, one can get McDonald's almost anywhere, if one likes unhealthy food. My biggest problem with food anywhere is being on an added Sodium free diet for the past ten years, some Chefs just don't get it when asked to omit the salt, some have gone into a Gordon Ramsey type rage! Food tastes just as good, sometimes better without added salt. I do miss some foods though.

      @@tonys1636 100%, in the centre of all the cities I went to, there were plenty of Moroccan food places open during my visit in the day (though I ate only at night). Really can't beat the local cuisine, it's fantastic!
