I've been changing amps recently at the rate of 1 amp per year in the never ending quest to get better, louder sound. I'm currently on a JL RD1500/1. I researched and despite what I found, I had to learn the hard way and experience it myself because honestly, there are so many opinions coming from people that have no actual experience with the product they're giving their opinion on. (Your brother's friend's cousin does NOT count). Anyway, my EXPERIENCE with an Audiopipe APCLE 1500 was very positive. I did very bad things to it and it continued to work and it sounded pretty good. I've read people say they catch fire. I don't know of any. Mine didn't, but a Rockford Fosgate I had did, but I don't go around saying Rockford amps catch fire because crap happens. But the big lesson I've learned, as long as you have enough power, not even your sub choice will have as much impact on your sound as your sub enclosure and cabin gain. Also, the most important lesson- don't ever let anyone shame you with what your running if you are happy with it because at the end of the day, it's your money and your ears, and last time I checked, the only one that can hear through your ears is you. (And you should never let someone else spend your money, that's your spouse's job).
I have this amp paired with 2 Audiopipe bd3 10s … does anyone think I can handle an extra 10 ? I been thinking of adding one more but not sure if I’ll need another small amp for it ?
This amp I went through two of them that's $400 in 3 months they overheat for no reason at 2 ohm and one ohm on 4 bd3 audiopipe 12 only turn 25% up junk
Sub-bass is recorded in mono, so there's no need to separate the channels. You could run 4(or 40) subs on a monoblock amp, provided you have the power to push them and don't wire them below the amp's load rating.
You can run 1, 2, or 4 channels. Best bet will be one channel if all the drivers are identical and in the same box. Just make sure the impedance (ohms) is correct for your amp. You can run 4p parallel (+ ->++++ ---- +-+-+-+- +-+- +-+-
With the power supply you guys have it should had meet its power ratings with no problem but as usal Audio pipe is not a good amp to buy. No wonder it is so cheap :D LOL
I’ve been running one of Em on two type r’s wired to 0.5 ohms never I mean never heated up not in the hottest days so your gain must of been super high
No this amp should hit it's ratings at 14.4 volts but could run at 16 volts for more power. But shit guys get more power. How long before you guy do these test correct with the correct power? Come on man!
I like the realistic testing parameters done in your tests. running a test on giant battery banks is cool, but not what I have in my vehicles.
Never understood why people hate on audiopipe 🤷🏻♂️

Ive had good luck with mine , pushing two American Bass Elites 12 with no issues.
👌
I've been using the Audiopipe Apcle 1500.1d way under rated I recommend doing the big 3 upgrade though
big 3 will not work you need batts asap on 14.4 not 16volts try again TOTAL FAIL NOT REACHING IT IS RMS AT 14.4 VOLTS
Budget gem does almost 3k at .5ohm. Paired with 2 bamf-152 and it's the best bang per buck.
Great review as usual
Thanks!
I have audiopipe 2000w rms, still in the house waiting to be installed

Depending upon what impedance your woofers are you might be able to add another but it would be slightly underpowered.

A question I’ve had for a long time is if I run four 8 inch subwoofers in my truck would I need a two channel amp or a four channel?

@@Qualitymobilevideo i would’ve never never in my life of my quessing shit correctly that you reviewed car audio
Hello i'm new to car Audio how do you hook this amp at 16 volt when most cars run on 14.4 volts don't understand.
Did you try to Google the answer?...
People who are into hardcore Competition Car Audio have a 16 volt system. They have a 16 volt alternator and 16 volt batteries
