- Many people asked me for this tutorial! This is the new version of Takuo Toda's world record paper airplane BUT in this tutorial NO ruler needed!!! That's what many viewers asked for, so finally here is it!
Also, Takuo Toda used DIN A5 size to beat the record, but this plane also works perfectly with A4 or letter size. All rights to Takuo Toda, he is the designer of this plane!

This paper airplane was used by Takuo Toda to break the world record on 19 december 2010, it flew 29.2 seconds! NOTE: there exist a lot of webpages and videos that shows how to make the not authentic guinness record plane by Takuo Toda, but this is the authentic paper airplane from the book that Takuo Toda specifically published about it, he called this plane the Zero Fighter (in the internet, this paper airplane is commonly known the Sky King). Started making this for my granddaughter..I think it took me a 1/2 an hour to fold.
Had fun flying it with her..getting the the proper folds in a couple of spots caused me to rewind several times...
I think like anything else, repetition will help to make better folds..

The tail crease and adding that to "jets" I was doing in 1970's. It was already a known thing with stunt -gliders such as this one.

Takua toda used A5 Paper for this. I recommend A5 or A4 over letter size because He doesn't use letter size for his planes

Hi this is a good tutuorial but always end up with an plane that flies to the left really everytime i fold a new one and if i curve it a lil bit it also flies to the left i dont know what to do
It is intended to do loops as it is a time aloft plane, not distance. You need to throw it vertically and expect it to fly stable and do loops and land softly.

Oh. I also make half folds on the back of the wing going inwards. So the back becomes curved. Helps a lot.

What weight paper is this?
I threw one off the top of a 500 ft building and went so far we couldn’t see it anymore. It gained altitude and we watched for a good 15 minutes before we lost sight. Atleast half a mile to a mile in distance.
