Thank you Sharmi! I was wondering if you were going to enlighten us as to the rather strange name "Jalfrezi" which I had never heard before. You certainly did not disappoint!

Hi Sharmi👋,an old restaurant where I used to live is the only restaurant that has scrambled egg in,it’s lovely also lots ov fenugreek, the owner said it’s an old Bangladesh recipe ❤👍
The whole region was called Bengal then. Where the East India Company settled down was called Calcutta. Thank you for the info 🙂❤️❤️
@@SharMissCooking I’ve loved Indian 🇮🇳 food my whole life, cooking with ghee for the first time ever was a big game changer 👍😍
looks delicious. you look beautiful too
Thanks ❤️❤️
Love your channel. What's your favourite go-to meal to cook and would you show us?
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I will think about that ❤️❤️❤️
Nicely done. I’ll follow this method. Can I ask about the tomato ketchup? I’m planning to add possibly tomato purée instead- I just don’t like the sweetness of the ketchup. Thanks again and great recipes 👍👍👍
I have the same problem with the ketchup, too sweet for me.
Yes you can use tomato puree or paste instead. Can add around 1 tbsp of sugar if you are ok with that. ❤️❤️❤️
Yes can replace with tomato puree or paste. Adding some sugar would be good to balance out the spiciness.
Thank going cook today looks hot curry😅
Let me know how it came out. 👍❤️❤️
I was always under the asumption Jalfrezi was the Indian take on Chinese food? Now i want one and its 8am
Give it a try when you can 🙂❤️❤️
