Hi Dara. Can you review ads for "non physical products"? Things like a software or something. The reason why I'm asking is because physical product ads like a candy bar can show a person enjoying it. How does that work out with softwares/plugins/online tools with probably boring backend layout? P.S- I like your videos a lot!
Yess! these are very insightful and educational... hearing you cuss around the 22 min mark hilarious i was not expecting that miss dara🤣 all your videos are pretty dope
You're amazing Dara! Thanks for all the value. One input from my end that would be interesting to watch since I'm from Europe; Culturally it must be huge difference between New York and Texas, for example. It'd be interesting to see if you believe you should differentiate your creative strategy between states. I guess also that could be translated to different countries. Due to socioeconomic standards in Scandinavia, it's probably different to some poor countries in Europe etc.
@@DaraDenney Dara is the one of the top marketers who talks about creatives. this is a fact not opinion. not only she is one of the top marketers, she is also beautiful
Love these Dara, please do more! Agree to disagree on Laundry Sauce! I watched with sound on and thought the whole commercial was great and the overacting was the vibe - they were all great and made me laugh. Definitely wouldn't work on Meta but this is great for youtube and love when brands entertain me when I'm forced to watch a pre-roll.
in your past videos you said you do mass format testing. For the ads side how do you do it. do you do one batch of 5 variations of say us vs them and test at a time or is it more like you just keep retrying different formats, not sure if this makes sense what I'm asking
I went to raindrops RUclips channel and I do love the ads (I am a 40 year old dude maybe I am their target audience) but I am really surprised at how low their organic views are on all of their videos. Are these types of ads really working as ads?
They have great creative for sure. But the views on their organic videos don't really matter. That's not why people are on youtube (to watch ads). It's more like a portfolio for them.
Dara- when using testimonial quotes... does it make a difference if there is a name or initals to credit to? ( ie "______" - Jennifer P. ) Does it perform better, worse or add validity to the ad?
I like using “verified review” when unsure, although I mostly run ads for healthcare related industries where privacy is important (even though it’s a public Google review.) I’ve seen good results from this route!
The unsatisfying yet true answer is that it really doesn't matter. The most important thing is to have the best/most impactful/transformational and memorable testimonial that causes people to take direct action. Name or not... through my testing doesn't really matter.
@@DaraDenney Thank you Dara! Would love to see you do a breakdown video on the best headlines and copy with your thoughts on direct response writing...
I have shared results before on the channel... but it's REALLY hard to get business owners to share hard data. I don't blame them. The most you'll likely get is "this works" or "this didn't work". There is no real incentive for business owners to share this stuff outside of bragging rights. 🤷♀
@@DaraDenney Makes sense. Your insights are so good, but it’s always cool to hear the results and analyze why one ad hit and why one maybe didn’t. Thanks for all you do!!
Would you like me to do more of these ad reviews?? Let me know!
yes yes please. we also like the kind of videos you did with alex asking the public, twitter vs experts

I want to know if the company made the changes and tested if the new versions performed better
