Hi dara , if you don't mind a couple of questions about the info you mentioned . 1. Since your placing the budget On the campaign level and you have 2 adsets . Means you are implementing advantage campaign budget yes ? And A/B testing to see whether broad audience performs better or insterest stacked audience . 2. Also the 3 ad creatives . They are both in the broad adset and interest stacked adset . Meaning 6 ads in total yes ? 3. For scaling a campaign . What if the adset is in learning phase ? Regardless we should raise it yes . And what if we scaled an ad . But the results dropped and now our cost per purchase is much higher what do we do then ( this happened with one of our campaigns ) Thank you for the vid very well done !
Great Info Dara. I have a question: When you start the campaign with 1 ad set targeting interest and then scale up to broad targeting what is the budget optimization for it is it ABO or CBO?

I rarely comment or ask questions, but would definitely love your response for this one. For this method for beginners and low-budget businesses, does CBO (Campaign Budget Optimization) or ABO (Ad Set Budget Optimization) matter when starting a new Ad Account in this process? Is it more important to run a daily budget ($100 a day) or just a one-time budget ($3,000 for the month). Hi Dara, I love your videos!! I watch after work and feel like I am getting a degree in digital marketing lol! Would you ever do a video on best practices for ads such as how long should the videos be for diff platforms, what dimensions for story ads vs. feed ads and images (sometimes we have found that with model images their heads get cut off). I am sure there are other best practices but that would be SO helpful!
Hey there ! Love your videos :) got to learn a lot . If you could explain how to run fb ads for various products as a marketplace that would be great . How to structure the campaigns , the adsets and the ads especially for a Shopify marketplace. Thank you :)
So stop ads that aren't performing in the ad set, ad new creatives, keep performing ones going as long as they're performing. If you keep an ad going, and add a new one to that ad set does it affect the metrics of the ad that was already performing? I want to run a leads conversion campaign.
Hi Dara! I bet this is very likely to happen: Say you turn on your campaign example and your UGC ad gets most of the spend and a reasonable CPA. You turn off the other 2 ads and while you work on new creative, your UGC ad starts getting all spend, CPA improves as you exit learning phase and your ad gets more and more social proof, but you want to get better results. Now you have 2 new ads that you want to test. You add these 2 ads and turn them on, but after a week these 2 ads spend less than $20. All your budget is going to your UGC ad. What do you do? Thank you!
Hey Dara, I’m a huge fan of your channel and I’m very grateful there’s people like you helping beginner marketers. Just a quick question: Do you think a monthly budget of 1500 is enough to generate results for a shopify brand selling digital products? No overheard and high margins. Thank u in advance
Hi fellow Brooklynite! Recently discovered your channel and love how you make things so easy to understand especially for beginners like me! Question: How can we get out of the learning phase with a small budget (150$/day) with a conversion campaign and a broad audience if our products' value is around 50$ to 100$? Or is it simply not possible?
Going to be tough! I would concentrate less on getting out of the learning phase, it's not really that important. I have a video about it, search for the learning phase.
EXCELLENT and also what we are seeing. Curious Question: what about in the instance of 1 Product but Multiple Offers. Since you are suggesting NOT remarketing and kind of killing the whole traditional "funnel", would you put multiple offers in the same ad set? IE: Full Price Offer - main landing page Buy One Get One Free - specific LP 15% Off - specific LP etc etc Typically we'd give someone a full price offer up front, then retarget them to sweeten the deal if they don't buy. THANKS! You rock.
Hmmm in that case, I may try retargeting then. However, you are likely spending more money than you'd have to. I would test which offer is actually best for you and just double down on that.

hello Dara! I've been looking up tutorials about Facebook ads and picking up things from here and there, but this is the first time I've heard about using shopify in anything ads related. what did you mean by setting up Shopify at the beginning of the video? Appreciate you content by the way!! really helpful!
For how long should I keep running the ads? At what point should I decide it's not worth running them anymore? After how much spend and days? For example, I spent $100/day and got way too low average video watch time and less than 1% CTR with NO sales. I wonder if it's even worth running those same ads for another day?

Good video! Any insights into businesses that aren't selling simple products online, and instead do services, or rely primarily on Offline Events? Do you ever work with clients with those limits?
Nice video but can you actually tell how would you advertise more products? Would you create a campaign for each product or would you create one campaign and multiple ad sets for each products? And what if you sell different products like: digital courses and shampoo. Would you create two different campaigns under the same pixel?
I have a video all about this! Search for multiple products on my page. Also, I am a bit considered about this idea of selling courses and shampoo... if it is not for the same brand/company this is something that could get you flagged and banned by Facebook.

Hey Dara! Thanks for really great content. One problem I often see in different ad-sets is that it can be really difficult publishing new ads if you already have 1-2 winners in the ad-set. The new ads can be great ads but they just dont get that much impressions since the other ads are already winners. How would you approach that? Also if you publish like 4-5 ads at the same time it might be that one ad gets a lot of impressions and starts to scale but the other ones don't really get the same amount of impressions, it doesn't always means that they are bad ads but the algoritm pushes the one ad it gets the fastest results from. Whats your view on that?
Such an insightful video Dara! Question: If I am on the 'OLD' Conversion campaign, should I update to the new Sales campaign? Or is it basically the same thing with a new name?
Is there a way to determine when to add the lookalike campaign besides the budget? Especially if you are from another country where USD$100 could be considered a big budget
Since I have lots of products I’m selling, I wanted to make one of my creatives in catalog format. Is it not possible to have a catalog format ad and a normal single photo ad under the same campaign? Or must it be a seperate campaign all together? I wanted the catalog format to be one of the three ad creatives I’d be trying out in the beginning. What do you think?
Hi Dara. Thanks for an amazing video. Just one question. So if you have a webshop with let's say 4.000 SKU's, would you stay away from a catalog sales campaign type all together?
Great video as always! Im running a similar setup which I found from your previous vids, but when I run more than 1 ad in particular ad set 70% of the budget flows only in one ad and 30% splits into the another 2 and I cant make a decision if they have potential or no 😢
Hi Dara, thanks for such amazing videos. I have question - how will I know if my creative have a problem or ad copy or my targeting ( audience )? I hope you answer my question 😊. Awaiting for next video :-)
@@DaraDenney thanks, I have read somewhere if your CTR (ALL) is below 4% that's mean your creative has problem & if your CTR (link click) is below 1% you have problem with ad copy is that's true?
I really liked this video and your way of explaining. I apply this to my facebook ads but I get one problem. May be it's not but it seem weird for me. So I got 1 campaign, 2 ad set, 3 ad each and 100$ campaign budget. Facebook spend all into only 1 ad set (the interest) and only 1 of the ads. I don't even know how the other ad perform be there is no budget spent into it, no CPC,CTR... And same for the ad set. Should I just trust facebook like "No worrie, all your other ads sucks and only this one will perfom, trust me, I put all my money there a for reason"? Thanks
Hi there, do you also recommend conversion for new stores with just a hand full of sales a week? Meta suggest to with traffic first if one has less than 30 conversions a week. What is your view?
Another value bomb. Thank you! I have a question. What if only one ad starts spending and the other two ads do not spend at all? Should I increase the budget then?
Hi Dara! I ABSOLUTLELY LOVE your content! So easy for a newbie like me to understand🙂. What if we are running a promotional sale, would you recommend making a creative in addition to the other 3 that you mentioned, and if so which ad set would you put it under? Thanks so much!
Thank you so much Dara. Your video is always helpful to me. I have one question. About adding more creative after turning off the ad which has bad results, should I add new creative ad to the current campaign/ad set or duplicate it then add? Thank you so much.
WOW thank you Dara! For the CTA button at this budget for sales/site traffic, do you recommended "Shop now" or "Learn more" to get people to a site of a new brand?
Personally I would test both. However if your product is not expensive and be bought by a compulsive buyer, I would put the "Buy" button. If the product requires thought before purchase and you want to educate the prospect with a landing page or the website, I would put the "Learn More" button on a cold audience.
@@anje68650 Thanks! For clothing and accessories under $100/pc or around $30-70 items, would you say that's impulsive buys for 1st time buyers and us 'Shop now' all the time? OR the price point you're talking about for $10-$20 trinkets or even cheaper items?
Hi Dara, thanks for your amazing content. I follow you for a few months and you helped me a lot! In one of your videos you were speaking of Charlie's method of the "3-2-2 DCT" campaign. Do you still use this structure? If yes for which types of budgets?
Hi Dara, we set this up but Facebook has allocated most of the budget only to few creative, and hasn't really given any chance for the new creative to spend so they can be tested. What should we do here?
Hi, Dara may i know if I am testing angle can I remove the interest stacked adset and run 2 adset with different angle that i want to test. Is this worked?
HI Dara, excellent video! I wonder how you exactly AB test ad creatives in this setup? We currently this setup, but the ad creative we're testing next to the current one almost doesn't get any traffic. I assume Facebook 'kills it off' way before we have any real test results. Thank you!
Hi Dara, you keep the broad adset and just add the creative directly to the running adset, instead of creating a different adset with different creative? Very interesting. does it create fluctuation or result drop 48-72 hours after you doing that?

Or must it be a seperate campaign all together? I wanted the catalog format to be one of the three ad creatives I’d be trying out in the beginning. What do you think?
Hi Dara. Thanks for an amazing video. Just one question. So if you have a webshop with let's say 4.000 SKU's, would you stay away from a catalog sales campaign type all together?
I would def test it!
Lot's of trial and error! In general, I wouldn't worry too much about copy or targeting, it generally comes down to creative or landing pages.
@@DaraDenney thanks, I have read somewhere if your CTR (ALL) is below 4% that's mean your creative has problem & if your CTR (link click) is below 1% you have problem with ad copy is that's true?
@@amolsonawane4686 sounds like bs to me.
@@DaraDenney ya got it thanks again Dara😊
Will mixing image and video ads together in one adset will affect the performance? Should test one variable at one adset first or?
I would do a minimum ad set budget.
Wait so is this campaign type the ASC or manual ?
So you run CBO? How do you then test your creatives? Do you leave it all to the algorithm.
I would do minimum ad set budgets if I got more tests going in.
Hi Dara! I ABSOLUTLELY LOVE your content! So easy for a newbie like me to understand🙂. What if we are running a promotional sale, would you recommend making a creative in addition to the other 3 that you mentioned, and if so which ad set would you put it under? Thanks so much!
I would try a broad ad set with that new creative.
What if my budget is lowe than 100 bucks, should i keep interest stack & Broad in my adset.
Or just interest stack.
Need help 😫
Thank you so much Dara. Your video is always helpful to me. I have one question. About adding more creative after turning off the ad which has bad results, should I add new creative ad to the current campaign/ad set or duplicate it then add?
Thank you so much.
I'd just add a new ad.
WOW thank you Dara! For the CTA button at this budget for sales/site traffic, do you recommended "Shop now" or "Learn more" to get people to a site of a new brand?
Doesn't really matter, would try Shop Now.
@@DaraDenney Thanks so much!
I have brands that use both! Both are fine.
Which video?
Hi Dara, we set this up but Facebook has allocated most of the budget only to few creative, and hasn't really given any chance for the new creative to spend so they can be tested. What should we do here?
Is having a website necessary for sales campaign? Building my website atm but wondering if its possible
Thank you!
If you needed to, try it in a new ad set. But yeah, you cant "AB test" with this kind of budget.
@@DaraDenney thanks! How else would you test ad creatives on this budget?
Even with bigger budgets, do you recommend keeping only 3 active ads per ad set? Thanks!
Naw, you could go up higher in that case. Some brands have like 10+ creatives in an ad set. Really, you have to see what works for you!
Great video! Would you use Dynamic Creative ads in the initial launch campaign?
Maybe! It's something I would test.
@@DaraDenney thanks
Hi Dara, you keep the broad adset and just add the creative directly to the running adset, instead of creating a different adset with different creative? Very interesting. does it create fluctuation or result drop 48-72 hours after you doing that?
Not necessarily. And at this budget, you dont really have a choice.
