Cheers Dara, seems like everything on the platform has changed in the past 12 months. So many things that were seen as bad practices are now the best way to optimise campaigns, it's crazy to see. Hi Dara, I saw from an older video you are recommending 180 days of social media engagers and website visitors for retargeting. However, in this new video, you reduced it to 90 days. Is there a rationale behind the reduction of the number of days? Is it based on products or is it due to the new meta algorithm in general?
Hey Dara, love you content. If your product is for a specific interest (e.g dog collar) how would you stack interests? The dog interest would cover everything right?

I've always been a huge fan of Broad but my current product is having an average of 1.5 CTR on broad and 3+ CTR on interests.. So wouldn't you suggest I go with single interests? Especially because there's no data and it's a brand new pixel and ad account. So CPM, CTR and, CPC are my only noteworthy metrics at this point
I think CTR is a really misleading metric at times. Broad audiences are way more likely to have lower CTR overall… because they are so big. In your case it’s tough though since it’s a new pixel… hard to say, because it’s impossible to say whether or not that ctr will actually turn into sales.
It's similar for me. Open gets half the CTR of interests. But the point is if I check CPCs, I get more or less the same numbers because targeting open is cheaper. I'd say just look into your cost per result.
This also assumes that all of the metrics in FB are correct, which they are not. Using a tool like TripleWhale will help, but still is missing. But sales should really be one of major metrics to focus on. Broad also scales vs interests that die out quicker.
@@DaraDenney if your goal is to convert with the campaigns, then CTR is not your primary metric. Instead focus on where you get most conversions at the cheapest price. If A has a high CTR but low sales, while B has low CTR and high sales numbers, then why focus on A?
