Hello Dara, new followers here, very insightful videos you made, big thank you. May I know what you may recommend on the budget ratio between Testing campaign & A+ Shoppping Campaign?
Hey Dara, I’m impressed by this information and I would like to thank you so much for that, Kindly can you speak about small budget campaigns for small businesses, we still stuck with low budget limitations from our clients 😅 Thanks again 😊
Hi Dara. Thank you so much for the useful information. Could you please show me some examples of ads in the service niche that do not sell any tangible products? What structure and creative elements would you recommend?
🔥as always Dara, one issue i face is briefing in the designers, typically i pull examples/inspo from foreplay and then break the ads down into is consecutive parts and what we would like to do but that often gets lost in translation, do you have an efficient approach for briefing in static images to design team?
As a designer who runs FB ads, giving as specific of feedback as you can during revisions is super helpful for a designer - and along the way, slipping in patient education about WHY you're asking for the changes you're asking for - will help them need less revisions the next time :)
Thanks Dara, gave Advantage+ a whirl due to your post and in the past two days it's lowered the CPA of my comparable interest targeting TOFU campaign by 6x! Quick question. On the Advantage+ setup you can add an optional audience suggestion. What's your experience with and without a suggested audience included? I was thinking you could upload first-party data on purchases to go after more of the same? Thanks as always.
Okay Ms. Dara Denney, I got a question for you! I have a client that is in retail, but it's not an e-commerce business. They do countertops and cabinets sales & installation. Is there a way to make Advantage+ Shopping work for lead-dependent businesses? If not - what campaign/audience types do you recommend in 2024?
Dara what attribution settings are you currently using for ASC? Ive seen best performance with 1-day. Also noticed there’s a new engaged-view setting..
how does that apply for a brand that is selling a specific product in a specific sports, that product has no use outside of that audience? do you still recommend broad targeting at the point?
In the past if you launch a kickstarter campaign and don’t narrow it to only people interested in Kickstarter and crowdfunding, it tanks because educating people on Kickstarter is a huge hurdle. Will Facebook broad audience automatically figure this out or should we still narrow it?
Could you share your thoughts on the optimal number of creatives for a single Advantage Plus campaign? Is there a benefit to limiting it to 3-4 creatives, or can more be effective? Additionally, what’s your perspective on running multiple Advantage Plus campaigns at the same time, each with a distinct set of winning creatives?
Great video, thanks Dara! Question. When you talk about broad. Would you include specific "Advantage detailed targeting" to narrow down the broad audience or broad means no "Advantage detailed targeting" as well?
Hey Dara - love the content! Question: do you use advantage+ audiences at all? Did some (limited) testing, typically find that using adv audiences with a relevant interest+lla stack works better than full broad, at least for the first few weeks
Greate video! Have you ever worked with and affiliate typo of business? im wondering cuz i want you use your videos to set my affiliates campaigns on facbook
Hey DARA! We have a new campaign BROAD/1 DCT/at $10/day running for 9 days now--- Our CTR is about 2.5% (decent?) and CPM is really high at $36 (apparel brand) BUT with no sales--- Is there something wrong? Do we need to turn OFF or is our daily spend too low to get enough data or traffic? CTR and creative seems OK...
Hi Dara! Asc and broad they both work for me the issue is my campaigns have a threshold lets say 350 per day beyond which they dont perform the best, I tried running the same campaigns earlier in different ad accounts with same budget and setup to scale faster but it doesn’t work now any idea on how do i scale my campaigns
Love your videos Dara!! I have a question what is your take on ASC+ for local businesses? I have a mobile massage business and am looking to doing ADs on Facebook and IG. Would it be wise for me to just only do Broad Targeting or Both Broad and ASC+?
Hey Dara, would you recommend running the same DPAs in both an ASC and a BAU campaign to a broad audience simultaneously, to capture a bigger audience, or would that be redundant?
Hey Dara I found your channel 2 days ago and find it really helpful. I am interested in buying your course, but first i want to check will I get all updates for free if I chose 3 payments option?
Hey Dara! If our new campaign/new 1 DCT ads has 1.25% CTR (link click-through) and 2.57% CTR (all) in the first 4 days at a very low budget ($10/Day) is this a good sign to keep going or increase spend? ..... Apparel brand btw..... And what is the minimum $ spend per day do you recommend & how many days on a new Campaign/Ad Set/DCT to get enough feedback and make a decision to turn ON or OFF or replace? Thanks!
Hi Dara, I apologize for my lack of knowledge. Could you please help me understand why interest is no longer working? And do you have any sources where I can research more on this topic?
Hey Dara! What's your take on having nurturing campaigns running for high ticket services once leads are generated. Thinking like a retargeting campaign that would target the lead opt ins with testimonial ads, etc? Is it worth it or does it still work?
I have created a collection ad , but its not performing, i doubt if products links work in commerce mngr prdct set, but im just starting learning from meta blueprint, any help?
I understand now the time is for broad and ASC+ 🙂 But I have 2 questions? 😕 1. What should we use CBO or ABO campaign, when we start ads for the product? 2. Should we use Dynamic Creative?
"Your detailed targeting inclusions selection is a suggestion" - You're right, the days of lookalikes and interests are dead - because FB literally stopped them and will deliver your ads outside of the suggestion when it leads to better performance. Everything now is essentially "open" with "initial guidance".
@@DaraDenney then in 1 ASCs there would be many ads its okay to add 20 to 30 ads ? Because i saw your skincare chart you're running many campaigns. Suggest me on this will be very helpful
What is your opinion on interest suggestions? I can't even choose interests anymore, now it's only a suggestion to facebook and they'll still go broad. Is it a big deal to put a related interest to suggest to FB? or you still suggest to put absolutely nothing?
the constant background music is really throwing me off. coz it never changes, so it doesnt follow the way your speech changes when you're being more dynamic
Hey Dara, I hope you are fine. Your RUclips video content is amazing, you just need to improve your RUclips thumbnails. I'm an expert thumbnail designer with 4 years of experience. If you need my assistance then let me know. I would like to improve your thumbnail designs.
I just lost faith in your content. You are looking at just ROAS not global lifts. Adv+ pushes warm traffic more so than cold. To grow brands you need to scale cold awareness "implicit interest" not blend together because what you will find is your maxing out remarketing when you might not need to. For example if you are a 50/50 split 50% goes towards remarketing 50% goes towards cold in the ASC campaigns. If you scale it your are operating at a 50% efficiency rate for cold versus if you were to segment cold and warm traffic. You could say x amount of budget towards cold and x amount towards warm (typically way less towards remarketing) since you want to leverage your free mediums versus paid mediums for a better return. This is the same story as Performance Max. People are looking at warm traffic as a place to scale but in reality it is just eating into your margin.
Hey! I appreciate this feedback. I think I could have definitely been more clear about a few things: 1. I'm definitely not looking at ROAS. (For what it's worth, I seldom look at ROAS at all) The big brands I work with are using another tool to determine the success of a campaign: Triple Whale, Northbeam, etc. The other brands where we don't use third party data tools; it's a combination of MER, in-platform, and the compounding learnings of the account over the long term. In general, the majority of the brands I work with do determine the success of ASC+ based on a third party tool and Meta lift testing, not just in-platform metrics. 2. There is absolutely a concern about ASC over-indexing on retargeting audiences. I can see why an advanced media buyer would hear me say "a scalable retargeting audience" would be concerned about margin and the longterm impact of spending soley on warm audiences. In retrospect, I wish I would have clarified the impact of this when considering scale. However, this was not a video about scaling so some nuace was lost here. 3. I want to make sure that I understand you when you say "remarketing". Traditionally, this would mean audiences that have already purchased, not necessarily retargeting. I have said in other videos that nearly all of the brands I work with have a 0% spend on remarketing. I forgot to mention that in this video specifically because I try not to have every video be a deep dive on ASC+. At the end of the day: this was simply a video about targeting and how it's changed over the last year. You don't have to watch my content. I appreciate the thoughtful response and the opportunity to clarify!
@@DaraDenney Thanks for the reply and clarification. I just get frustrated with "gurus" pushing PMAX and ASC because we always get large and small clients coming to us to solve their warm traffic issue due to their degrading sales and/or MER. I use to use 3rd party metrics for trend tracking but lost faith in it when I looked at the brand campaign and saw the NCAC was lower than the rest of the campaigns. Its essentially a broken clock (in app) vs another broken clock (NB, Triple Whale, etc). In terms of RMRK I tend to view it more so as warm signals. I typically focus on NCAC more so than MER as a media buyer and lean on the company to build stronger LTV's to then grow MER with NCAC and ASC & Pmax just destroy NCAC.

I don't use budget caps!
Dara, could u make a complete course from setting up to actually making ads and making sales? I would definitely buy your course on this.

Nice. Thanks Dara!
