Something that I’m not sure I understand: the campaign structure should be 1 campaign, 3 adsets for each stage in the funnel? TOF adset, MOF adset, and BOF adset that includes relevant stage ads in each adset?

I would not include a catalog ad with my hero campaign. The purpose of a catalog ad is something completely different and I have a few playlists on that. By the way, I think Dara is great but I don’t know Sam so I’m gonna have to check them out What I will say is that what matters most is finding somebody who makes this their zone of genius that you can understand and who’s efforts work for you and in that way while I love and respect many people in this space I don’t know if they meet that objective as effectively as I do But I would love to know your feedback and to earn your subscription and support and ultimately help you see the most success that you can

Yes correct, it is not dynamic The process here is different by ad account but the simple way is to provide Facebook Post with Comments and then hit the time stamp and grab the post id

heyo, i launched a new store again, realizing that much have changed since last time. I have a issue with my ad account, for hours i could not connect my pixel and when i created a new one, and followed other tutorials, i did not get all the events i wanted. So i decided to manually add Purchase and Payment Information event, so it register if you click on the field or the purchase button so in reality i get wrong data etc no information and no money. And after my expirements my add account is a mess. I have only run the ads for approx 5 days. So my questions for you Chief. 1 Should i scrap everything and retry. 2, is the issue with the events related to not verifying the domain correctly? i manually added it but it was definitely alot of messing around. Yes, I have a lot of Drop ship or students. The one big caveat that I would add to Drop shippers is understand that if you’re only drop shipping a product then you don’t have a business so begin to white label and vertical integration of your product offer I also have a full length video about shipping on the channels so check it out

Hi, New to your channel, thank you for the indepth video on this. I have run FB ads unsuccessfully in the past and want some guidance on how to get back up again on it. I have a print on demand ecommerce store so i have a lot of different products (think jewelry, blankets, mugs etc) that target different niches and audiences. i have created multiple CBO campaigns to test each new product and not gotten anywhere. Do i need to focus on a niche audience for FB ads to be effective and get out of the learning phase. I am still unclear on how to test different products if you are keeping the same campaign. In your 322 have three versions of one type of this content The purpose of that is to figure out what works and why So you understand this and I love it. It is the second half of your response Each one with one type.
thank you charley , great video but I think a frequency of 1.3 might actually mean that, on average, each person saw the ad 1.3 times rather than 30% of people seeing it more than once. For example, if you have 10 people in your audience and a frequency of 1.3, that would mean they’ve seen the ad an average of 1.3 times each. So maybe 7 people saw it once and 3 people saw it twice, which would give an average of (7 x 1 + 3 x 2) / 10 = 1.3. What do you think? Could that be how frequency works?
The honest truth is that this frequency number is a average of averages and the reality is that both of our answers are true. What’s really important to understand is in the simplest way is this ad reaching more new people or is it reaching a lot of the same people more often than other ads and so in this example, I try to break that down in a way that is as close to easily accessible and understandable for as many people as possible

OKAY, this shit CAN be applicable to smaller ad accounts, but this dude is speaking from experience when spending A LOT of money from LARGE companies. Trust me, when you can throw 50-100k a day at ads, of course you need to have broad targeting. Of course you can use dynamic creatives because the algo has the money to test thousands of variations very quickly. Most dudes are spending like 20 bucks a day, they dont' need scale - they will be waiting forever for their fucking dynamic ad to optimize and provide results.

I am setting up the following full funnel structure per country: - 1 CBO TOF (broad targeting) - 1 CBO MOF - 1 CBO BOF Is this correct? But what kind of targeting should I use for the MOF and BOF campaigns? For example, if I add a video engagers audience (fed by the TOF campaign), I end up with a list of 50K-100K for a specific country in the last 30 days. And for the BOF, the list is even smaller if we select add to cart as the audience for example. You advise not to do remarketing, but aren't we kind of doing it anyway? Or can I combine these specific audiences with still broad targeting? I don't see that option, as using interests or lookalikes would increase the audience size, but you advise not to use them. Here's the translation: I can't find it in the whitepaper either. Can you help me with this?

In this example, I’m just showing you how to build it and when you are building it you should make the typical number of assets. I just didn’t want to show the same work over and over again and make the video two hours when it didn’t need to be.
Hello, great info. I have an online clothing store, Im currently running 3.2.2 ads Im currently just using 1 campaign. In that campaign im pretty much focusing on my best selling item sending all traffic to a landing page of that product. (All ads seem to be retargeting witg a high frequency) Can i use the same campaign in a different ad set to send traffic to my home page aswell (to promote more cold traffic). Or should this be in another campaign?

So do you actually have a separate campaign for TOF, MOF and BOF? But they’re all still conversion ads? And within each campaign you are trying to find a winners ad set for that specific biz objective? So for instance the TOF campaign, although optimizing for conversions, you really aren’t trying to maximize conversions? I’m confused. Or would your TOF campaign be more of a Reach/Awareness campaign?

Absolutely they do The results are short lived, but in that temporary time… better than doing things other ways What I teach is better than both of those options most of the time
Hey Professor, my ads never went into learning phase. Still very unstable and exactly like you described - incredible performance in the first 3 days and then tanked. Is there a possibility that they are in learning phase without showing it?
What about a small home business. One that has very little income at startup. Do smaller adds work? I am a laser engraving shop with zero overhead and paid for lasers. I am trying to get leads and let people know I'm here. Is it work even using the adds for this?

Sometimes But ASC is a deprecating flywheel in itself So the analysis is moot Everything tanks over time Just win by pulling lottery tickets or move away from it
I have a question related to billing info i wanna start an agency, now u mentiond the client is the one that should be putting the billing info (credit card/paypal) now lets say a client pays me 5k usd for ad spend out of lets say 10k which the other half is gonna go into service fee, that means i am the one holding the money that is meant to be spent on ads, so why does the client need to be the one putting the info and paying money to facebook if i already got the 5k dedicated for it...
I'm following everything here and since I had set up your flexible ads in the past, I'm copying those flex ads and tweaking them to make them more in line with what you have here. BUT, after I duplicate that particular campaign, there's no option for choosing a flexible ad. Do you know why?

One question, what about Middle of funnel when optimizing? I know TOFU ads are supposed to have low frequency and low CPM, and low efficiency . And I know BOFU ads are supposed to have high frequency and higher CPMs, and high efficiency. But what about MOFU ads? What am I optimizing for here?
The thing that I never understood with dynamic ads is tracking. In the end, you just can’t track who clicked on what ad from a dynamic creative ad. That means that if you optimize for cost per sale (for lead gen businesses, for example) you will never know which ad performed best, because it is a well known fact that the Facebook reporting is trash and inaccurate. So I’m kind of boggled here
Attribution is about Data... not results Run the ads until you need to change them then grab the post IDs of the ads you have run to populate that Winners Ads set

thank you charley , great video but I think a frequency of 1.3 might actually mean that, on average, each person saw the ad 1.3 times rather than 30% of people seeing it more than once.
For example, if you have 10 people in your audience and a frequency of 1.3, that would mean they’ve seen the ad an average of 1.3 times each. So maybe 7 people saw it once and 3 people saw it twice, which would give an average of (7 x 1 + 3 x 2) / 10 = 1.3.
What do you think? Could that be how frequency works?
The honest truth is that this frequency number is a average of averages and the reality is that both of our answers are true. What’s really important to understand is in the simplest way is this ad reaching more new people or is it reaching a lot of the same people more often than other ads and so in this example, I try to break that down in a way that is as close to easily accessible and understandable for as many people as possible

OKAY, this shit CAN be applicable to smaller ad accounts, but this dude is speaking from experience when spending A LOT of money from LARGE companies.
Trust me, when you can throw 50-100k a day at ads, of course you need to have broad targeting. Of course you can use dynamic creatives because the algo has the money to test thousands of variations very quickly.
Most dudes are spending like 20 bucks a day, they dont' need scale - they will be waiting forever for their fucking dynamic ad to optimize and provide results.

I am setting up the following full funnel structure per country:
- 1 CBO TOF (broad targeting)
- 1 CBO MOF
- 1 CBO BOF
Is this correct?
But what kind of targeting should I use for the MOF and BOF campaigns? For example, if I add a video engagers audience (fed by the TOF campaign), I end up with a list of 50K-100K for a specific country in the last 30 days.
And for the BOF, the list is even smaller if we select add to cart as the audience for example.
You advise not to do remarketing, but aren't we kind of doing it anyway?
Or can I combine these specific audiences with still broad targeting? I don't see that option, as using interests or lookalikes would increase the audience size, but you advise not to use them.

In this example, I’m just showing you how to build it and when you are building it you should make the typical number of assets. I just didn’t want to show the same work over and over again and make the video two hours when it didn’t need to be.

Hello, great info. I have an online clothing store, Im currently running 3.2.2 ads Im currently just using 1 campaign. In that campaign im pretty much focusing on my best selling item sending all traffic to a landing page of that product. (All ads seem to be retargeting witg a high frequency) Can i use the same campaign in a different ad set to send traffic to my home page aswell (to promote more cold traffic). And within each campaign you are trying to find a winners ad set for that specific biz objective? No, we run all of these in one campaign. There is no advantage to separating these out.

I have a question related to billing info i wanna start an agency, now u mentiond the client is the one that should be putting the billing info (credit card/paypal) now lets say a client pays me 5k usd for ad spend out of lets say 10k which the other half is gonna go into service fee, that means i am the one holding the money that is meant to be spent on ads, so why does the client need to be the one putting the info and paying money to facebook if i already got the 5k dedicated for it...

The thing that I never understood with dynamic ads is tracking. In the end, you just can’t track who clicked on what ad from a dynamic creative ad. That means that if you optimize for cost per sale (for lead gen businesses, for example) you will never know which ad performed best, because it is a well known fact that the Facebook reporting is trash and inaccurate.
So I’m kind of boggled here
Attribution is about Data... not results
Run the ads until you need to change them
then grab the post IDs of the ads you have run
to populate that Winners Ads set
