Thank you, most interesting info in my HW 77 ,97, & two 100, I use & find the Diabolo Field satisfactory for my needs I set all my scopes up at 25 yds but shoot at 15 yds mostly the target is mainly the grey squirrels so I have no problem with head shots & I'm happy with that.,Cheers Tippo. UK.GB.
Some handy info for people that starting off . It's always worth try a few . Plus make sure it's not the shooter that I found with a mate and his gun we keep swapping pellets but when I shot it was fine with accupell just he kept pulling the trigger So practice getting good groups before blaming ammo
Most enjoyable video from a very knowledgeable gun enthusiast/expert and I'd agree fully, find the pellets that suit both your rifle and your style and abilities,as an example my Walther RM8 only likes JSB Hades in sub 12 ft lb whereas I have a Theoben Mk2 and they only shoot H&N Field target Trophy well,so as you've explained is correct, kind regards,Phil.
I found the ideal .22 pellet but seems you cant get them anymore Armex Airstream 55's superb pellet wish i could buy more id buy in bulk if i could. Anyone got any or know where they have please........i need more.
I would have thought that someone producing a video on pellets would know that the exact head size is shown on the label on the base of the tin. Nothing here that most people don't know already.
May I say has a 90 odd yr old my first air rifle a BSA at thirteen its never too old to learn I'm not technical but I do love my four HWs & I like hearing all these view points from all aspects of airgunning. Cheers Tippo,UK.GB.
Many thanks for the great advice and lots of tips for safe and accurate shooting.
Take care and stay safe,
Joe
