I bought a 2019 2.0T touring 2 weeks ago. My wife and I have owned nearly 20 Hondas over 35+ years. This is easily the best Honda I’ve ever owned. Lots of power. All the technology. Roomy inside. It’s very quiet. Fun to play in sport mode. I love the wheels. Just very impressed with the job they’ve done on this. Highly recommended.
I need to test drive the accord touring :) I have a Lexus 350es which has been awesome but I’d like to spend less money this time around if the value is there?
An entire test drive, with zero shots of the road. An entire test drive, staring at the face a the driver. Folks, when you are a passenger in a car, do you stare at the driver's face, or do you watch the road? And when the driver is demonstrating the car's power, do you watch the driver's face, or do you watch the road? Is the review about the car, or is the review about the facial expressions of the driver? I do not understand why some uploaders think that we prefer to stare at them? Is it a vanity thing? Sure, throw in some face shots. But those shots should be the exception, not the rule. Cheers!
so quick question, why does the 2019 honda accord touring have the buttons for automatic gear shift and the 2019 honda accord sport doesn’t? do you know?
@@MAXED-TRUCKING Acura is about to come out with the 2nd generation TLX and offer a Type S version. Look it up. Looks incredible. Acura for sure is getting their groove back.
Honda offers E ctv and 10 speed automatic for honda accord 18/19. Which one is better, and can someone please explain the difference? Thank you for any response.
I currently drive a '16 Acura TLX Advance which I greatly enjoy. Looking to replace it with either an '18 TLX A-SPEC or an '18 or '19 Accord 2.0 Touring. Have been leaning towards the Acura but in the last few days, the Accord has grabbed my attention again. I've driven nothing but Acuras since '08. Just wonder if I'll feel like it's a step down and my other concern is that I'm not in love with the Accord's styling but I could live with it. I really like the look of the A-SPEC TLX. Decisions, decisions!
Fast forward: I ended up buying a '20 Accord Touring 2.0T. Could not be more pleased. This car is awesome and I honestly look forward to driving it every single day!
Have they improved the navigator? Mine 2015 model, never really worked with the spoken part and now the streets ate barely visible...who knows why it is stupid.. Others have had same problem
Greg F. my car has be stuck in snow too many times while my brother rides right thru and over it lol I told myself I would never get fwd again I wish honda make an accord model that has it maybe they will make one in the future
Greg F. yeah brother I did that as well I'm a honda Acura guy that's all I buy I currently have a 2011 Acura tl but the fwd is killing me but I love how the new accord looks especially the front
@Greg F.; Canadian viewer. Great comment. Grew up and worked up North...a good 5 month winter/snow. A good set of snow tires, common sense and driving skills is really all you need.
The units of torque are lb-feet and can't be directly compared to horsepower. It's apples and oranges. It doesn't make any sense to compare the numbers. That said, this car does have a lot of torque, especially at low RPM, which compensates for turbo lag (boost kicks in around 3-4000 RPM).
this is not true, this car i s dead untill it reaches 4k which is so annoying. and high rpms is dies again which fucking sucks due to the low horsepower
@@Iegend17 I know, but they are still too low. Accord's seats are one inch lower than in the Camry, and Camry's seats were lowered for the new model. This is a bad trend. People generally want to sit higher. These are not sports cars.

Maybe more of the car features and showing those off and less of the camera pointed at the driver. Barely saw the interior.
And that's why I stopped watching the video. 😂👍

Drove it a few months ago. This exact car, Touring, grey leather, 2.0 engine. It's a work of art, trust me.
Wow this car is fully loaded.
For the people who complained about driver assist. Say it with me..... driver ASSIST!!!!!!!!!!!
Jason C exactly
Hi sir does the 2019 still have issues with the drl going out and turbo issues ?
Excellent car!
Interested in seeing how that 10 speed transmission is going to hold up in years to come

It does. You just have to get the sport 2.0 instead of the 1.5.
Would doing a flash to the ecu void the Honda warranty?
According to Hondata it doesn’t.
@@snapshotsofsuccess according;) to honda, yes it does. I own this same car, same color inside and out, and im waiting for 36k miles.
Same as 2018
Can you talk more about the ecu. Increase to adding horse power toy your car?
Yes I’ll be doing a video on it. I want to make it proper and not rush it.
it looks similar to an Audi A5. they just need to clean up the lines on the exterior a bit. Interior is a huge upgrade
Yeah, like change that ugly ass rear end. Lol
Would you say this 2.0T in the Type is as powerful as the Chrysler 200s V6 Pentastar which has 300 Horsepower?
Why not 2 doors like the 2014 model?
Because they discontinued 2 doors ...for now lol sure they will come back at some point
How can i increase the horse power.you say i can make it faster where would i have to go to do that
@@roadglide lol stop it. U have to get it tuned. Either ktuner or hondata.
Yea I agree. Acura needs to do something to separate its self from honda

luis Gonzalez cvt is slow and more economical, and the 10 speed is faster and feels amazing !
Just buy the 10 speed.
The CVT transmission is specifically paired with the 1.5T engine while the 2.0T engine is exclusively paired with the 10 speed automatic.
Dcent quick review but the 'dumbed-down' needs to go.. lol
Anyone know how to turn on heated mirrors on 2018 accord ??
Yes just turn on rear defrost and they turn on with that
I'm curious why many video car reviewers always refer to (2.0L) displacement as 2-point-oh liters? Isn't that the same as simply saying, 2 liters?
I think cause we are so used to other engines be 1.5 or 3.5 for example.
@@snapshotsofsuccess
One more question. Will the Hondata tune you mentioned affect any warranty repairs?
J High they say it doesn’t. Hondata is the company
Geared Towards Automotive who’s they?
Prolly because like Nissan and other car makers they do 2.5
What about cabin/road noise?
A Tesla isn't a fully autonomous vehicle either
Can you please do in depth review of it and also compare with 2018
What other features would you like to see?
dude its the same car

Good review! Why did the road noise disappear @ 9:00? Different road surface?
Emale2000 yes this was a smooth surface here that was freshly paved

Torque is directly related to horsepower. HP=T*rpm divided by a constant depending on the units used.
