How To Make Homegrown Blackberry Jam, Ice Cream, & Granita

This video has been a long time coming and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I am growing 7 more of those blackberry plants and should have over a hundred pounds of blackberries by next year...fingers crossed. Drop a comment if you cook & grown food with your kids too!
Ingredients:
Base:
5 cups Blackberries
4 cups sugar (3 cups if you want it less sweet)
8 cups water
Use 3 cups of blackberry syrup for the Granita
Use 3/4 cup of cooked blackberries and syrup for the Ice Cream.
