Definitely wants to see more of Peter... Because dealing with fighters that rush forward is actually very important, it's quite common, and in a self defense model you usually face people rushing forward as well. So all the combinations were very nice...
Quiet common
ill try to get him in more :)
@@finsmith9907 you know not everyone on YT is a native speaker, right?
@@e.e.8589 I’m aware
@@finsmith9907 autocomplete errors, it's actually super easy to recognize and ingore them haha 🤏
Sparring is usually fun when both parties are familiar with each other and respect each other. It’s crazy how many people don’t have any sparring etiquette or just don’t give a shit.
true!
I agree with building connection, trust and respect with sparring partners. I now understand why fighters are so selective with who they spar with, one stupid move by a bully or someone that wants to prove something can cause an injury and/or ruin a competitive career.
:)
Quite the opposite is true. I see a lot of people never come back to the gym after "testing" the regulars. It's not worth it. Give respect, respect is returned.
Your head movement and movement overall is always fun to watch. Great work man
thanks man!!
I am almost 16 years old and in my country we aren’t allowed to hit on the head if we are under 16. I am excited to this upgrade but i am kinda worried of damaging my brain. I hope i can find a gym that spars like this too. Light to the head and hard to the body
You need to find sparring partners that don't want to kill you every round. Also i recomend training your neck- this helps prevent concussions
Most of the time you can ask your sparring partner to play with this style/volume. Its more efficient and you will know that you are both on the same pace!
finding the right partner is key!!
always good to see you guys working on skills rather than competing! no ego just two guys looking to improve themselves
:)
Great respect and control from both of you! Your narration adds so much depth and information to these great sparring sessions! And yes, would definitely want to see more sparring with Peter!
cheers!!
This is truly an awesome video, the commentary, the way you point things out, the humble way you did the commentary, I can't find the words to describe how awesome your videos are, and I'd definitely love to see you both sparring again. Even as a boxer myself I always learn and get something valuable out of all your videos even the kickboxing/muaythai/mma videos I still get alot of valuable info even though I only box. Your what I call a real martial artist (you both) thank you for the treating us to this amazing stuff
thanks for the support :))
that philly shell done right in kickboxing is so badass
cheers!
Amazing session! Would love to see more Peter. He's very good.
definitely :)
Peter !!! Bring him back! Dude is a beast

Dude I am lovin this guy!! He’s not in there to wait for things to happen to him, he’s making it happen! Great collaboration, Jeff!
:) thanks!!
Super duper helpfull. I always get beat up by a sparring partner who fights just like Peter, relentless.
cheers :)
It's so nice to have such a partner like Peter.Nice sparring, nice work
Thanks :)
Peter's cardio is impressive.
it is!!
I wish I had someone like you to spar with. You are so well balanced with your training👌🔥
:) thanks man!
Love that tactical breakdown as always; your defense is superlative. A little worried about the left foot positioning @3:36; if there's been excessive work capacity through the legs it could be easy to damage the small joints at that EOR on the kinetic chain if there's too much force transference. I'm sure you are on point for recovery, but keep an eye out on those long pivots
Cheers!
Hell yeah this was awesome! Gonna def try some of this sparring with the homies
:)
This is the sharpest I've seen Jeff's Boxing.
thanks man!
The back of that shirt 😄😂 what a good chuckle. Love the style of them! And amazing energy from both of you 🔥
Thanks :))
Thank you for making videos like these talking about being good to your partners/friends and saving brain cells.
It can't be said enough. So many newbies walk into a gym throwing haymakers, piss some fighter off and come home with a lost braincells and injuries.
They don't understand what respect is.
cheers :)
Broh, I got winded watching. Great technique video...
Is there a code to use for the X Martial gear?
discount code is 'Jeffchan' !!
@@MMAShredded got it 👍
I been training MMA for 16 years and I can say without a doubt I'd much rather get hit in the head than take a hard body shot
lol you crazy!
It sounds like you got hit one too many times to the head bud.
@@illumitabris all I'm saying is body shots hurt a lot worse than blows to the head. I know it's worse for you in the long run but the immediate pain of a body shot hurts whereas a head shot as long as you don't get ko'd doesn't really hurt until later on.
Your balance is amazing Jeff 🔥
thanks man!
Love for this channel and for You, grettings from México, the Best MMA channel, Jeff u are the GOAT.💪🏼
Thanks bro!!!
Thanks!
thanks for the support!
Ayo Peter is the one who taught me my boxing fundamentals. Crazy to see him in one of your vids!
sweet!!!
Thank you sir, I enjoyed the technique and respect between you and your sparring partner, keep going 👍
thank you!!
Peter is not messing around!
It's great to have a training partner like Peter that is controlled and understands the expectations. That way both people can train hard, but minimize any real damage.
cheers!!
Definitely want to see more of Peter with his kicks for sure if he trained TKD.
Imo perfect type of sparring, still need those brain cells while going hard (reasonably so) to help excel. Love your content😌🤙🏿
thanks :)
PETER…PETER 🗣️ fighting someone with this style is very challenging. I’d like to see more of this.
Noted :)
Great video, would love to see more of Peter
:)
More videos on how to deal with that style, please! Got rushed like that in my very first MMA fight lol
can def work on that!
The body shots dude
maybe this will give the tendency to protect head less body more??
Asian vs Asian, always a good fight ! Super technical!
Oss
Love that frame with the right arm into liver shot at 4:45🤌🏽 great work guys!
cheers!!
Love his style
Osss
Peter got some nice skills. Keep up the good work :)
osss!!
Is Rushing Aggressively good thing? nd i say it is not for me..round 3 under water haha talking about boxing.. What should u do if opponent keeps charging and u wana save stamina
Gotta parry more and time your counters
it can be a good thing yes. you need to tie up
I love this channel !
thank you!!
Hey, ive been wanting to train mma for a long time but im from portugal and theres not many gyms that acctualy have a good quality for that and its pretty hard to go far living here, and also because of me being still under age im 16 years old. So i wanted to start in another sport that i could make my base to mma and i wanted a striking one im just indecise, i was thinking about kick boxing im just not sure if its a good one for mma, since a portguese guy andre fialho that is on ufc for example he started with boxing and also mcregor started with boxing before moving to mma, but i also wanted to start developing my kicks cuz in my opinion its a rly strong technic to have.
ps: i wanted to start on kickboxing and then moving to an mma gym when im 18 years old and hopefully try to find something outside portugal
Kickboxing is good bro, you can focus it for 2 years and become pretty proficient striker before learning grappling and integrating everything together
kickboxing is definitely good for MMA! train diff disciplines separately then combine them later
@@wolfplayr2137 Thank you so much!
@@MMAShredded Thank you so much!
Thanks for your vidéo good job from paris
:)
yup more of peter plz
definitely :)
Those body shots sounded painful
:p
I struggle with people who come forward hard
thank you, this is helpful
no prob!!
Raghad Meziane my brother, happy blessed Ramadan
:)
It make me wonder if learning to pressure fight is a good style to learn as someone who is manly a grappler. It seem to me that its easier to get the takedown or clinch as your opponent retreats backward and is defending the punches
Definetly. As a grappler you want to get in the clinching distance as fast as possible.
definitely is a good style!
4:38 again thats what nick did to frank shamrocl beautiful stuff here jeff
thanks bro!!
Do you have any mma striking videos like introduction to beginners..I am trying to transition to mma striking on my own from boxing.my gym only offers each martial art seperately and the striking classes are boxing and Muay Thai.
I do have online programs for mma striking! Just check my website :) www.mmashredded.com
Jeff do you have one of these videos in an MMA context? I can’t find it if so lol but my sparring partner is shorter and after getting comfortable striking he’ll always just take me down as he has high level wrestling lol. I’ve gotten to where I can defend a lot of the takedowns but then worrying about the takedown leaves me more susceptible to strikes.
Philly shell is fun to use but not good for keeping the distance which allows for takedowns
@@MMAShredded do something like a long guard or traditional high guard with some head movement maybe? Thanks for the response
lets go peterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
ossss
High volume pressure stipulates the volume of hitting or the power of the strikes?
lots of punches thrown and pressure moving forward
I'd use the teep
boxing only in this case
I hope you can fight the guy that beat ufc isreal A.
More Peter
definitely!!
First, love ur videos jeff, keep it up 👏🏻
