Definitely wants to see more of Peter... Because dealing with fighters that rush forward is actually very important, it's quite common, and in a self defense model you usually face people rushing forward as well. So all the combinations were very nice...

Sparring is usually fun when both parties are familiar with each other and respect each other. It’s crazy how many people don’t have any sparring etiquette or just don’t give a shit.

I agree with building connection, trust and respect with sparring partners. I now understand why fighters are so selective with who they spar with, one stupid move by a bully or someone that wants to prove something can cause an injury and/or ruin a competitive career.

Love that tactical breakdown as always; your defense is superlative. A little worried about the left foot positioning @3:36; if there's been excessive work capacity through the legs it could be easy to damage the small joints at that EOR on the kinetic chain if there's too much force transference. I'm sure you are on point for recovery, but keep an eye out on those long pivots

@@illumitabris all I'm saying is body shots hurt a lot worse than blows to the head. I know it's worse for you in the long run but the immediate pain of a body shot hurts whereas a head shot as long as you don't get ko'd doesn't really hurt until later on.

Hey, ive been wanting to train mma for a long time but im from portugal and theres not many gyms that acctualy have a good quality for that and its pretty hard to go far living here, and also because of me being still under age im 16 years old. So i wanted to start in another sport that i could make my base to mma and i wanted a striking one im just indecise, i was thinking about kick boxing im just not sure if its a good one for mma, since a portguese guy andre fialho that is on ufc for example he started with boxing and also mcregor started with boxing before moving to mma, but i also wanted to start developing my kicks cuz in my opinion its a rly strong technic to have.
