Harley Race in my view is both a class act and the Greatest Wrestler of All Time. I am biased tho, Harley Race and myself are both from Missouri. I believe that mainly because in my view he elevated both the NWA and Pro Wrestling when Pro Wrestling was way down in popularity (like today), and he elevated the NWA World Championship, and then gave rise to both Dusty Rhodes, and later Ric Flair and they elevated everything in Pro Wrestling from there. I know later Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan, WWE and later the Attitude era explosion of Pro Wrestling popularity, but in my view it all started with Harley Race and his career with the NWA, and also later on for Harley in both the WWF at the time and AWA. He is truly a Legend. #RIPHarleyRace

We met Harley at WM30 last year in New Orleans (completely by dumb luck surprisingly). He was very nice. Poor guy was in a wheelchair and looked like he was in a lot of pain. We met tons of superstars old and new that entire weekend, but Harley Race was the hardest one to not mark out in front of. I hope he is doing okay. ///

APPARENTLY AS THE STORIES GO , ALL THE TIME PEOPLE WOULD CALL HIM OUT IN PUBLIC AND CHALANGE HIM 2 REAL FIGHTS CLAIMING THAT WRESTLING WAS 100 PERCENT FAKE. HE HAD TO "PROTECT THE BUSSNIESS " AS N.W.A. WORLD CHAMPION AND BEAT THE HELL OUT OF MANY " TOUGH GUYS" WHO TRIED TO SHOW THERE ASS TO THE KING AND APPARENTLY HE WOULD BEAT THERE ASS AN STRETCH EM OUT REAL GOD. +John Eriksen (Hypersleep) He s a man of few words but he says a lot without needing a lot of words. What he does say is very meaningful and interesting. Also, Harley used to drink a lot and now I think he has either quit drinking completely or rarely drinks. If you were to see a Harley interview when he has a few drinks in him, I bet he would give longer, more detailed answers and probably be more entertaining. He is a man who has mellowed a lot with age. He's still tough man though - one you wouldn't want to anger. In his prime he was maybe the toughest man in all of wrestling. Flair says Harley was the toughest man he ever faced and Flair wrestled men such as Terry Funk, Dory Funk Jr, Jack Brisco, Hansen, Brody, Wahoo, Blackjack Mulligan, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, and Brock Lesnar.
