I can't believe I'm actually the first to say something about this, but the term "chewing someone out" basically means that they did something wrong, so they are going to get very meanly shouted at or something to that effect.
This was the game I grew up with and it's what got me into loving the Mario games so much, so I'm personally glad it came out when it did BUT it is a bummer that this remake could've been a lot better in so many ways, mainly with the controls and graphics

Yes it's true that using Yoshi does wear off quickly.. however if you want to 100% complete the game, each character has enough uses to make him feel fresh.

At first i thought they replaced the wing cap with a feather so more than one character could grab it without having to wear a red cap. Then I remembered only Mario could use it, which makes me confused.
The first Super Mario 64 Game I got was on the Nintendo DS, and it turns out I had a Nintendo 64, so I could of played the original Super Mario 64, but it was to late because my dad either sold it or threw it away...
I think the 2 are almost equal but I'd say the n64 version had a more consistent quality for what it was trying to do and what it did do the ds one has things that work and some not so much ( like incorporating warios moves from Wario land, good point), I mainly prefer the ds one for it being a handheld and being the one I grew up with but i can see why some prefer the n64 one
Why do these reviews always have a bunch of dislikes? I don't know if you'll ever see this, but Mark I'm fully in love with your content. It's pretty funny, super informative, you have reasonable pros and cons on certain details of games, and even your old Super Mario 3D World video didn't annoy me. These Mario reviews really are some of the best I've seen in a long while. It's a shame you don't have more subscribers. Edit: Yeeeee Mark hearted my comment :))) also your bits like Professor Analyze (if I got the name correct), I should probably find them a bit too cheesy but they're actually kinda funny for me (to be fair I find everything funny) and you put a lot of talent into them so I gotta give credit where credit is due. The only thing that the two games need to improve is the controller. Mario 64 uses the world's ugliest controller, and Mario 64 DS uses the d-pad (sometimes the touchscreen)
I like both games but I hate that Super Mario 64 ds has a run button to it and in the original didn't so it makes the original much easier to control but this doesn't mean that I hate the remake ok so go gentle on me please
I respect your opinion on how you like the original better, but I personally prefer the remake. I feel like it's just a more complete version of the game.
