I actually think now that the 3DS exists, Super Mario 64 DS is the definitive version. The circle pad works with the game, and it feels great, at least in my own opinion.
Charles has such a nice voice for Mario. I completely agree with you. I cant get enough of it. Wish Mario talked more than just making sounds in these days, so we can hear that nice voice.

Obviously, Smash Brothers continues it, and Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 kind of has it with the spin attack, but other than that this is the only game where Mario punches his enemies.

This game was my childhood but I never finished the game til recently on my Nintendo Switch Game which is all stars, ik it's not the original but it's still SM64 and after all these years I finally finished the game.

Though the blue thwomp models in this game are particularly offputting, I wish Nintendo would reintroduce the Blue Thwomp as a sub-species like they did with the LttP and OoT Zoras in the Zelda series.
The only level that I can think is scarce on coins is Dire, Dire Docks. For me, the 100 coin star is not that hard as you are making out to be. And me personally, I always try to get 120 stars, because I'm such a completionist I always want to try to get 100% completion.
I see one problem with this. You didn't really review the DS version. You just complained about the controls of it, the basics of it and that's it. First off, it's playable on the 3DS and the Wii U, so the controls are fixed. Second, it sounded as if you hated the DS version or just never played it, or thought that it was just a port. I was really hoping you'd go into the minor differences between the two games and compare them, and talk about the multiplayer and more exclusive modes.
Yoshinator I know about the 3DS and Wii U controls, and I have played the game on both systems. The controls are still a big issue though, and the controls are one of the most important parts of any video game. Even with the analog control on the Wii U and 3DS, it's still not as good as the original game. I do agree that I could've gone into more detail about the differences between the two versions, so maybe I'll make a completely separate video on it in the future.
SuperSmash3DS Is it the camera that makes it feel odd? I don't know at this rate. I don't mean to use this opportunity to ask you something, but I'm curious about this.
